Hotel Ambra Cortina D'Ampezzo

The best hotel in Cortina. The service was superb. They speak English very well and are always ready to assist and help in any way. We asked for recommendations, and Martina was ready to help us out. We ended up having one of the most amazing experiences with her recommendation! The breakfast is to die for - warm croissants every day and delicious cappuccino. Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! If I could, I would give them a 10!

Had an amazing stay. Good location within walking distance to eateries. Beautiful designed room with a private jacuzzi and an incredible breakfast. Staff was very pleasant.

The perfect hotel & location for exploring Dolomites. Not many rooms so you feel like a guest in a good friends home. Excellent service & staff with friendly helpful attitude. Amenities all of good quality. You are greeted with a nice drink and smiles. The rest of your stay will follow accordingly.

Loved our stay at Ambra and would absolutely come back. The location is nestled in Cortina, the rooms are gorgeous and have a Royal Alps feel (even came with a Dyson hairdryer). The staff was warm, accommodating and made our stay so special.

This hotel is gorgeous and the room was maybe the cleanest out of any hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. We did the flexi room and lucked in to an upgrade. Cannot say enough good things. Also there’s a beautiful cocktail bar on the ground floor.

I loved staying here because of the beautiful, well-appointed rooms. The bed was very comfortable, and there was a desk, little couch, bench, and gorgeous little bathroom…everything you could need. The decor was absolutely beautiful and well kept. We had breakfast here, and it was delicious, although service was a bit spotty because they were so busy and overwhelmed. Highly recommend staying here. If you choose to stay here, I think you’ll find it very charming and beautiful.

We stayed at Ambra last winter. I just can't get enough of this place. Staff is just amazing from kitchen to front desk, everyone had a smile on their faces and were willing to help 24/7. Breakfast is great. You can ask them to make you pretty much whatever you want to. 5 stars. We will be back

Eclectic little hotel with unique decor in a central location. Small but very well kept rooms. Outstanding service. They let us picnic on the terrace outside the bar.

Amazing small boutique hotel with amazing staff. This hotel was in a great location and the rooms were very nice. The highlight of the stay was staff, very nice and well informed assisted us in planning outings and getting around the area. Highly recommend it this hotel for anyone in staying in Cortina.

I had an amazing experience at this hotel - the staff was SO great, helpful and nice to chat with. The breakfast was delicious and the rooms were very comfortable (including robes and slippers). The location is right in the city center, close to buses and restaurants. Highly recommend!

Best place we stayed in Italy. Spotlessly clean. Great amenities: robes, slippers, plus usual stuff. Fantastic breakfast. 1 minute walk to center of town. Free off-street parking. Complimentary wifi, bottled water. Extremely friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable staff. Look no further, stay here! You won't be disappointed.

Beautiful hotel. We went in the off season, so it wasn't too crowded in Cortina, but there were still several guests at the Ambra Cortina. They gave us a free upgrade, and we had a great time walking to the nearby shops and attractions, would love to go back for ski season!

If you are looking for a hotel that combines alpine charm with Italian glamour, then this is the place for you. From our arrival to when we pulled out of the driveway, (thanks to the help of Barbara with our more than substansial luggage), we were made to feel like the only guests. A bottle of complementary champagne and fruit, in each of my families rooms was just the fresh jam on the "cornetto". The rooms are posh and unique, of course. As for the location, you are centrally located so you can stay up past midnight with plenty to do and still be in walking distance of the cable cars. Truly, the Dolce Vita
