Faloria cable car

Lucky for us, all the mountain passes along the Great Dolomite Road we're open, as was the cable car in Cortina during the 3rd week of April. These awesome mountains are a wonder to behold, and we were fortunate to experience them from the road below and the heights above. It's cool to think that in 2026, the Winter Olympics will be held here.

An activity you can do with your family, and even if you have babies, as baby strollers fit perfectly in the cable car cabins. The staff is super friendly, and the views are incredible. The journey lasts about 10 minutes, and at the top, there's a bar where you can have a coffee and enjoy the views.

Outstanding views and great skiing! Get a window spot.

This was such a kool little adventure. I paid for the cable car to the last level but I ended up not going because that ride looked insane. Beautiful views of course but also, a lovely restaurant to enjoy at, relax, have some wine or even take a nap.

The lift works regularly and lift u around 1000 meter to the faloria peak, there is a spectacular panoramic view of the dolomitis, it costs 23.5 euro for double way ticket... there are a lot to hike up there 😉

Old school cable car (in the USA we would call it a Gondola lift). Late in the day you will likely have a lift to yourself going up but a crowded ride home. There is an odd transistion 1/3 of th eway up, every crosses a platform from one cable car to another to continue the trip for no good reason, it is Italy.,

One of the most exciting moment in my life, 10 min with the cable car and you have the view you dreamed of . Cost 20 euro to get up there, possibility to exit the cable car in the middle og hike down back to the town.

The scenery is so good that it is good for trekking. Even if you go up by cable car, you can see the wonderful scenery. Access is also good if you stay in downtown Cortina d'Ampezzo.

Amazing experience on the cliffhanger lodge!! The tondi rifugio is worthy the path!!! Very demanding the way up but we find out if you want there is the taxi that brings you up there at 6 euro X person.

Amazing views during the ride and very convenient way to get up the Faloria and Cristallo ski areas which are extremely well prepared and have stunning views. Paradise!
Car park down the bottom is around €7 for 8 hrs. Paid by an app called 'easypark'

Nice ride with a view, next time I'd rather walk up and descend with the cable car as hiking down is not appealing. Mind you, it is a short drive but no seats as they are probably suited for skiing up there.

Absolutely fantastic view! I would say this is the place which is obligatory to visit.
I would recommend to go by foot from the mountain but to climb you would definitely need to use cable car.

Nice houses of the cable car - they look good from the cabin. We only took it downwards, because we din via ferrata Sci club 18 (really nice). There is no ticket desk up there, you buy the tickets from the guy in the cabin.
