Il Vizietto di Cortina

I came with for dinner with my sister today. This was the second time this week we we had dinner here. We were seated immediately without a reservation. Our server, Marco, provided outstanding service. The food was delicious! We were offered free appetizers, chocolates, and limoncello. I highly recommend this I restaurant!

I was supposed to grab just light snacks, but atmosphere, service, food, everything was perfect, and I ordered some extra dishes before I knew it haha

I was totally bloated and satisfied this experience in Il Vizietto.
Not expensive at all!

When you have an opportunity to visit Cortina, I highly recommend you all to visit here.

Came here on two separate occasions. Food was good and the service is exceptional. I got the spaghetti with bacon and sauce on one occasion, and the fish of the day (sea bass) with seasonal vegetables on another. Marco took great care of us both of the times my sister and I were in the restaurant.

Great food!

5€ per person for service charge seemed a bit much initially, but I would say it's worth it in the end. In addition to what we had ordered, we were also served bread with an entrée from the chef (ricotta, a pear-based sauce and a zucchini velouté), and some nice chocolates and sweets at the end of the meal.

The place was also nicely decorated and the waiters were nice and easy to talk to!

I would definitely recommend this place!

My family had a terrific experience eating at Il Vizietto do Cortina! Beef tartare was fresh and subtle, the fish soup was sumptuous, fresh and filling, the homemade pastas were hearty and filling, and the desserts were mind-blowing! The homemade lemon sorbet was out of this world!! Marco was very attentive and generous, the ambience is fun, cosy and down to earth. They gave us complementary fresh made ricotta cheese. Great place!

Dropped by for a late lunch the day after arriving in Cortina d’Ampezzo.

Food: we ordered the eggplant parmesan, super spaghetti (seafood pasta), pork chop and purple potato gnocchi. The eggplant parmesan and potato gnocchi was SO good! Would definitely get again. Probably would not order the spaghetti again as it was quite seafood-y.

Service: Marco was our server and was amazing, brought us some breads and ricotta with honey and zucchini cream, and limoncello to finish.

Ambiance: we sat outside because the weather was so nice, they have a covered patio with little christmas lights for a festive environment.

Overall loved eating here and would recommend!

The atmosphere was very cozy. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Every recommendation was delicious. Coming from so far away from here (Puerto Rico), it was surprising to find someone who speaks our language and Diana made us feel like home. Highly recommended 👌🏻

Everything was so good, the seafood pasta is definitely a hit especially after hiking! There is a cover of 5 euros per person, but well worth it for the atmosphere, bread and little desserts after! We went in with no reservation, waited about 15 mins for a table.

Definitely a 5 stars rating restaurant. Service, food & ambience are all on point. We came without a reservation at 630pm. Instead of turning us away, the guy at the door welcomed us in warmly and told us that we can move to the outside (which was freezing) at 7pm as the reservations were all at 7pm. And of course, we asked for food recommendations and everything was fabulous! Highly recommended to dine here!

We are so impressed with this place we came back two nights in a row. Lots of little extras that exceed expectations. The food is well prepared and delicious. Appetizers and large selection of wine and entrees.
Phenomenal staff very clean kitchen and very attentive to your needs. Perfect night in cortina. 🫶🏼

My wife and I had dinner here tonight while staying in cortina! Staff were super friendly and attentive and seated us straight away without having a booking (also being a weekend it was busy)!
The food was incredible! We had the cured meats and cheese platter for entree and the deer stew and veal cheek for main. All three dishes were perfect!! Great selection of wines too! Highly recommend!

This was a great place for a meal. Loved the food and the service. Although they have a hefty cover charge, it's worth it for the service and the extra goodies provided by the chef.

Had a wonderful dinner this evening while on my honeymoon. Our waiter Marco was so kind and attentive. Food was delicious in a great atmosphere. If you are in the area drop in to enjoy. Large menu, delicious limoncello, and complimentary additions to our dinner were keen details we will remember about our night at Il Vizietto di Cortina. Thank you Marco!

Even on a very busy night the service was phenomenal.

Excellent food.

Steak tartar and tagliatella della nonna were both absolutely phenomenal.

With a bottle of wine we were around €50pp.

Would definitely recommend this especially if you need a place on a Monday night to eat.

My favorite restaurant from Cortina.
Cozy atmosphere, exquisite wine and delicious food. Been here 2 times during my stay and will return for sure if I have the chance.

Best restaurant we had in Cortina. Compared to other 4.3 star restaurants that we went this is definitely closer to 5 stars, service is amazing considering how much traffic it has. The manager was running around taking care of tables and pouring me water. The food is hands down amazing and very unique. We got the purple potato gnocchi and the seafood stew. We had many cioppino in the past and this one is so fresh but not too salty, so you can keep drinking till the end and still want more! The manager recommended me cheesecake and it is unlike any other cheesecake we had. It’s a soft cream on top of crushed hazelnut and graham cracker (maybe?), with a tart fresh berry sauce on the side. Simply sublime.

A hidden gem in Corrina. The food is phenomenal and the space has a unique rustic charm. It’s in the main village but tucked away so you may not notice it easily but well worth the visit. The eggplant Parmesan was phenomenal. The tagliatelle with dear meat was also delicious. The tiramisu and crème brûlée are made in house and are simple but delicious.
