Hotel Menardi

What a great experience!

A super cozy hotel in a wood-style decor. The breakfast offered a great variety of food, and the dinner and wine menu were top-notch (make sure to make your reservation in advance).

The entire team/family was amazing. A big shout-out to Andrea (the best concierge I've ever met), Mena (a super friendly waitress), and Belinda (the room attendant who always greets with a big smile and warm "buongiorno" every morning).

It's worth mentioning that the hotel is within walking distance (about 10 minutes) from one of the mountain lifts and has a bus stop right at the front door. The ski resort bus makes a round trip to all ski resort lifts.

Looking forward to my next "settimana bianca" in Cortina d'Ampezzo at the Menards hotel.

Family run magical place. The food is by far better than the two restaurants they recommended.. Il Vizietto di Cortina and Restaurant Ariston Bar (they are also ok). Best tomato sauce spagetti and best apple strudel i had in my life. Respect and thank you 🙏🏻

Nice traditional chalet-style hotel, very helpful staff, a 15 minute walk from Cortina’s center, the skibus stops right in front.
I don’t understand that this hotel does not have a skiroom nor a skiboot-dryer

We had an exceptional experience with hotel Menardi, after having issues getting to cortina from Venice on our check in date the hotel still honoured our two night stay starting a day late. The hotel staff were very welcoming and provided us with a local map and hiking recommended, arranged taxis for us and prepared good food in the restaurant. We were not expecting breakfast included however we were offered a great spread of both continental and cooked breakfast in the mornings. The hotel is around a 20 minute walk from the Main Street in cortina and has a cosy alpine lodge feel. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed for a week with the lovely folks at Hotel Menardi.
The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, with doors that opened onto a small terrace.
Note that few (none?) of the properties in Cortina have A/C, so in a hot stretch, the room can be a little warm, but with the doors open it was manageable.
The breakfasts were awesome, the staff delightful and the stay exceeded our expectations. The location is an easy walk along the bike path to the center of town.

Friendly knowledgeable people five generations have run this place. Food is excellent they don't mind serving tap water which is great for cyclist and outdoors people. Good selections of wines beers etc. Michael the proprietor does a fantastic job

Such wonderful experience! “Like home” environment. Caring staff, great service, comfortable spacious rooms with balcony. Great price / accommodation ratio for Cortina. Cosy restaurant and various options for breakfast.

This place, for Cortina is listed as a Three Star Hotel, but in reality there is nothing Three Star about Hotel Menardi. The staff are welcoming and so friendly, and the front of the house is courteous and generous with there time and service.
The place is SPOTLESS, I mean clean like an operating room. Wow! It is something that is an after thought in most Hotels, but the management and staff at the Menardi are the gold standard.
The service for breakfast and supper are top notch, world class and executed to perfection. The food is excellent, really, really good. You will eat and try things that will make you want to come back for more. The breakfast cornetto's are better than most pastry shops. The choice of individual meals for supper are three course and they are made to perfection (we stayed over a week).
The bar (our own happy hour time, or before and after our meal) is excellent. Ask, and you will try spirits you will not find back home or in most place you visit in Italy.
Price should never be an indication of expectation, but the Hotel Menardi delivers beyond one's expectation for what you are being charged. I had no issues tipping the entire staff for our week there.
I hope to be back.

My favorite place to stay in Cortina D’Empezzo! The room was spotless and clean. The food, which was included, was absolutely perfect and of excellent quality & tasted great. I will be back and I will spend more time at the spa. I live the whole area, any time of year.

Wonderful place in Cortina d'Ampezzo, surrounded by mountains.
Located on the SS51 HWY, North and not far from the center of town. The hiking/bike trail is just behind the property. Parking is in the courtyard next to the hotel. There is a loading area in the font next to the entrance.

Service is great, the rooms are really neat.

Amazing hotel. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Beautiful atmosphere. Right near a footpath that takes you straight into town which is so easy and helpful. Don't have a bad thing to say x

Very nice hotel. Staff is attentive and super friendly. Streetside rooms can get some traffic noise. Has a fantastic park and easy access to bike and walking trail. Very good breakfast and dinner.
