Where do I start? The property and the setting is gorgeous. The staff is friendly, fun, and attentive. The meal was delicious, interactive, fun, and personal. We felt so well taken care of during our experience here, and it was innovative and delicious. If we're ever back in the area we'll definitely make a stop here.

One of the best dining experiences, I have ever enjoyed. Quality, service, and atmosphere blow any other 1 Michelin-star restaurant, I have visited, out of the water and competes with several 2 and 3 Michelin-star restaurants, I have been to. The only complaint I have is that it is too far from Denmark.

The highlight of our trip to cortina. Well worth the taxi ride. They deserve their Michelin star and so much more. The service was absolutely phenomenal and the food…. Oh the food…. Every single dish is a unique culinary experience. We chose the ala carte menu and enjoyed nearly everything we had. The Game and Lamb were phenomenal. The bread and local butter… well words won’t do this one justice, you must simply try it. The duck ravioli was delicious. The wine list is fantastic. We tried the cheesecake for desert and loved it. On top of everything they also treat you Will complementary offerings from the chef throughout the meal. A majestic culinary expertise in a beautifully decorated space. Don’t miss San Brite.

We had a reservation on our first night in Cortina from Verona. We had one of the tasting menus. An amazing array of flavors and dishes. I do suggest the wine pairing as the sommelier does a wonderful and meticulous job on every dish and providing a description and info on what he suggested. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and we were able to go to the cheese cellar and in passing see the kitchen staff which was amazing.

Michellin star granted and we understand why. Perfect service and spectacular food. Book long time in advance and use taxi, it is located onhill upper Cortina. The only thing I would like to point that they didnt change menu after last year visit.

We came here for a late lunch in December and it was fantastic. One of the best meals I've ever had. We were a table of 10 and did the path tasting menu. Every dish was great and I loved all the explanations that came with the meal as well. I am a vegetarian and they were able to give me the same expereince as everyone else with some changes to my menu. The service was great and all the recommended wines were good pairs as well. We were there during sunset and the view was amazing from our table.

This is a fantastic restaraunt. Do not read any of the negative reviews posted because this is a 5 star restaraunt for sure. The food and service are amazing. If you come to Cortina this should be on your top 3 list.

Probably the best restaurant in Cortina D’Ampezzo. The restaurant is own and run by a husband wife team. The chef has experience at Osteria Francescana in Modena, which was once rated the best restaurant in the world. The hors d’oeuvre were okay, but underwhelming when compared to the dishes to come. Their home made butter from the own farm is one of the best butter that I’ve had. Dishes all have a lot of umami. I was surprised that the chef has never been to Asia. The trout appetizer was fantastic. Beef was cured and thus very flavorful. Hen was a little too well done to my taste. Overall, I think this restaurant is on the way to a two star. It is more sophisticated than a one star, which is its current rating

I last came to Sanbrite in 2018, pre star. I was worried that five years on it would be different, as so many restaurants change for the worst post star. It was different, but not in a bad way. Yes it's more expensive, but everything is more expensive now,..especially farming and producing good ingredients. I was pleased to find the ingredients still shine, with an elevated presentation and level of service. We did the path tasting and pairing. Vincenzo put together a lovely pairing for a summer menu, and made a few customisations for me (the Riesling, Gruner, Riesling line up mid courses was a stunning evolution). We hiked hut to hut the week prior to this meal, and this put all of our senses from the week on plate. Some reviewers don't rate the earthiness of flavours highly, but I think they are executed beautifully to represent the region and terroir. Note, Sanbrite and El brite de Laredo are two different establishments from the same owner (some reviews have them mixed on Google maps). Thank you team for a lovely experience!

This was a unique and very special dining experience that we won’t soon forget. Every aspect of the service was so warm and welcoming. The restaurant is cozy with rustic wooden details. We were even given bags to hold our masks that were spritzed with aromatic and anti microbe (tea tree oil). We went with the surprise tasting menu and it was full of surprises. The food was so thoughtful and different and was a true experience of the chef’s family farm and the surrounding area. The intro course was a journey through each of the flavors we would experience in our meal from spruce to juniper and wild cranberry. Definitely a journey through the forest! We loved every minute of it. The butter course was such a visual treat, the wine pairings were unique and delicious, and unlike a lot of other starred restaurants we dined at on this trip, the food didn’t rely on salt or fat or sugar to trigger satiety, but felt lighter and more flavorful and more plant based- even the dessert had no added sugar and was spectacular. There are lots of surprises along the menu, but I don’t wish to spoil them. Even the chef came out to great us at the end. What a marvelous experience! Grazie to the whole team for such a special night!

One of the best experience we’ve ever had. The staff is so caring. Everything timed perfectly. Each move synchronised. Here you taste perfection. And love. The passion everybody puts in is tangible. Don’t trust the unfair past reviews about the allegedly small portions. You will be more than full and satisfied. Not to mention the path we have had having the Sentiero degustation. You won’t eat berries, mosses and lichens so often in your life. A special mention to the cream butter. A true masterpiece. Ah. The experience of making Ricotta with your hands was entertaining and cool at the same time

SanBrite deserves the highest possible rating here and is worthy of its Michelin Star. An absolutely wonderful experience my party of 8 just had in the private dining room experiencing the tasting menu. Staff was amazing, friendly, and knowledgeable, and we learned a few things via some interaction and short discussion about the dishes. Such a fun experience, and intelligent thesis behind this restaurant preparing ingredients that are local and in season while creatively making you feel closer to the earth. It’s hard to explain and you just have to go and experience for yourself. I don’t think anyone in their right mind will be disappointed. This may have been the best meal I’ve ever had. 10/10.

Turns out it's possible, if you are lucky enough to snatch a table at SanBrite, where warm wooden interiors and pleasant mountain views offer the perfect backdrop for a symphony of earthly flavors: smoked charcuterie, crusty bread with delicate butter, juicy mushrooms, herby snails...
The ultimate dish however is the Spaghetti al Pino Mugo that comes with cripy pine crust and a luscious butter sauce... And for a second there, as you slowly chew with your eyes closed, you are transformed into a forest elf who's joyfully dancing under the shadows of the proud pine trees.
It's beautiful.

We trusted them to show us their tasting menu; a journey though curated selections of local ingredients, which revealed their passion for sustainable food on all levels with a devotion to service, smells, textures, and incredible flavours squeezed into every detail. We went on an unparalleled journey of delightful deliciousness through their winter menu!

This should be on your list of places you must eat in Cortina - it will be worth it every time!

Excellent restaurant. Amazing experience. Given that my wife is pregnant, we chose the à la carte menu for obvious reasons, but the staff asked about dietary restrictions at the beginning of service and they made sure to cater to our specific needs. The food was exquisite yet unpretentious, without any pretentious montage on the plate. The Pino Mugo pasta is a game changer and the Game was out of this world. Don’t get me started on the wine pairings… All in all, highly recommended and we can’t wait to go back!

Excellent restaurant, probably on its way to get starred.
We were a party of four, two adults and two kids: the menu, sophisticated as it was, was appreciated by the younger too.
I won’t go over the menu that changes regularly, we had trout tartare, duck and cheese cappelletti, lamb and vegetables.
All up to high standards.
Sweets were not “sweet” as they do not use sugar, chocolate or cream. Be as it may, we would have better indulged in some salty course, but it’s ok.
Good wine list. Special mention for the extra-fluffy butter: an experience within the experience.
The decor was sort of nordic-mountain, very pleasant, staff attentive.
At 60€, price was less than expected for this class of restaurants.

Extraordinary meal, in my opinion better than most other 1-star venues I have visited.

The setting is simultaneously timeless and very mountain-fashionable. The staff is kind and accommodating, and every one of them tremendously capable.

The meal was an adventure, with many rewards for the curious. It also served as an introduction to the region. The ingredients are extraordinary, and showcased.

Overall, the meal surpassed my high expectations. I hope you get a chance to experience it too.
