Hotel Dolomiti Lodge Alvera'

My wife and I vacationed here for a few days before our wedding and had a terrific experience. The space was recently remodeled to a modern mountain chalet. The staff was extraordinary as they were welcoming, kind, and knowledgeable. Their pool and spa were well-outfitted and the Dolomites provided a stunning backdrop. Lastly we liked their restaurant so much that we brought some travel companions with us and the menu had delicious options for everyone. This is a special place and we hope to return someday!

Dolomiti Lodge Alvera represents hospitality at its finest. From the moment we stepped into the beautiful lobby and are introduced to its premium facilities and then brought to our room with its exceptional view, we were delighted and impressed. The number of rooms/guests was just right, so it felt quiet and exclusive. We liked that it was just slightly out of the main town area so it’s quiet.

Everything felt new and spotlessly clean and comfortable. We are amazed at how fast the daily housekeeping service is! I usually hardly make use of hotel facilities, but the heated pool in the quiet, relaxing setting made me take a trip into town to purchase a set of swimwear! The gym equipment was also excellent.

Breakfast is a highlight - items are pre-selected the day before (as much as you can eat!), and served to your table, so it’s very efficient and there’s less wastage. We had dinner once in the hotel restaurant and enjoyed the food very much. Service was impeccable - attentive yet discreet. You can feel the pride they take in this family-run hotel. We stayed 6 nights and still wish we had more time. We will definitely be back to beautiful Dolomites and this cosy hotel.

The place is really cozy , typical mountain romantic atmosphere with luxurious feelings.
Is perfect for couples! The spa is like new and nice equipped,the “infinity” pool is really good but the water was no so hot . The gym was pretty new and well equipped!
The restaurant is little bit expensive! But the desserts was amazing !
It is expensive but most for the things worth it.

Fantastic small hotel with great pool, friendly staff and delicious food!

Location: Beautiful quiet spot 20 mins walk from Cortina (down bike/pedestrian path a couple of mins from hotel, slightly up hill on way home!). Great base for exploring top Dolomites sites like Cinque Torri, Tre Cime if you have a car.

Facilities: Great small ish outdoor pool overlooking forest and mountains, small free-to-use spa area with nice sauna and steam room. Perfect after a day of hiking! Plenty of parking.

Food: Super delicious a la carte breakfast (you tick anything you want the night before) - loads of fresh fruit, cereals, the nicest yoghurt I’ve ever had, cold meets/cheese, eggs, bread etc. Breakfast officially served from 8am but they were happy to provide for us at 6.30am one day when we wanted to start and early hike. They didn’t mind us making some sandwiches from our leftovers and even brought the couple next to us a sandwich box and offered to make them for them!
We had dinner at the restaurant 3 times and it was all great, especially the pasta dishes!

Rooms: very modern, clean and spacious, great balcony overlooking forest and mountains, very comfortable beds!

Staff: all so friendly and helpful! They were so accommodating to any requests like providing breakfast for us earlier than scheduled, giving us some ice to have with drinks in our room, and they also made some great local restaurant recommendations.

My husband & I stayed here in the summer & enjoyed the beautiful Mountain Views right from our room! Our room was comfortable & quiet. The staff were very friendly & helpful throughout our stay. The dinner we had here was really good & we enjoyed the local spin on Italian food!

The hotel is awesome!!! I can hardly describe how nice it is and just look at the videos and pics!!! I booked the Deluxe Room with Mountain View 🏔 , and there’s a perfect balcony and view of the mountains! Also the food in the restaurant is good! I would highly recommend it!

My partner and I stayed here for 2nights in mid-July and it was perfect.

We celebrated our engagement upon arrival, where they welcomed us with a drink and presented the room to us. The room was generously sized, with good air conditioning (rare in Cortina), a very comfortable bed and a nice bathroom.

Most impressively, the large balcony provides magnificent views of the mountains, with woodland below and the river in near distance. Great views and the sounds of the river makes a perfect spot for relaxing on the balcony.

The restaurant is really good, serving some very good dishes and wine, with a good atmosphere. Similarly the breakfast was very good.

The hotel also has a spa (no swimming pool) with a space that also opens up to an outdoor terrace facing mountain and river.

The service too was always very welcoming and helpful.

We would definitely recommend staying here and will most certainly be visiting again in the near future.

Cortina is wonderful with loads to do and see!

Wow. I’m blown away by this hotel! First of all the staff is really polite en professional. Secondly the food, that’s really good and you taste most of all is homemade and fresh. It’s just an amazing hotel with breathtaking views.

It's been a long time since I've been in a better, friendlier and cleaner hotel, I'm delighted with everything, the service, the food, absolutely everything, as well as my whole family. I would recommend this hotel to everyone, and I will surely come back again! ☺❤

Love this place. Morning view from ground floor was literally to die for in the summer. Couldn’t have asked for more. Relaxing atmosphere with good spa.

Highly recommended, we were sitting outside with a beautiful mountain view. Service was fine, food also. Right price range for the place. The owner also very kind.
I don’t live too far and I’ ll back there for sure.

Fantastic restaurant in Cortina. One of the best dinner spots in town. The Alvera’ family really keep getting better year after year! Definitely try the “stinco”!

Amazing place, we had been going back again and again for 6 year to this family business in their old place, so we had high expectations of their new project. And we must admit that it couldnt be any better! They took all the best things from old place and added a lot of new to it. Its hard to tell in few words. But if you can, try this place. It's absolutely worth to spend few days here or at least try some of the dishes, breakfast is a thing you can look forward for the while year.. Wine selection is also huge. Rooms are huge, with magnificient view od Tofana. You have luxurius Spa just one floor lower from the room. You can relax on terrace afternoon with prosecco.. We travel a lot, and this is the only place we will be going back forever. P+V

This was just a family lunch on the veranda in front of a wow mountain view("Tofana")!
Food great, service punctual and attentive, overall a very relaxing and enjoyable experience while the children had the freedom of running (and even playing ball) in the fields in front, coming back to the table for food and a drink as they felt like (we are a very liberal family;-))
As I said, we only had lunch, but the hotel rooms (just 10) look absolutely amazing and done in a pleasantly modern reinterpretation of wooden chalet style. A very pleasant way to experience the beauty of the "perla delle Dolomiti"!

Beautiful hotel with a excellent location and stunning views from the hotel. Everything from the room, spa to the food was perfect. I highly recommend you this hotel.
