Excellent hotel in every way!
Rooms were bright, spacious, and spotlessly clean. Every amenity provided. Breakfast a huge choice of good offerings ( eggs were a bit weird though but everything else delicious).
Location is the best, right in the heart of town- very charming town and hotel.
The BEST is the staff-from reception to housekeeping to restaurant personnel and the amazing concierge Lorenzo!

A classic italian alps hotel with a long history. Rooms a rustic and comfy. Bathrooms can have a little old tech equipment, but everything works. Personnel very helpful with a classical touch. A excellent choise in Cortina

Before gushing on about other highly positive aspects of Hotel de la Poste, I need to grump just a bit about our bathroom. To satisfy those of us who love a shower rather than a bath, the hotel folks retrofitted a Jacuzzi tub with a shower feature; unfortunately, it resulted in creating an exceedingly large puddle on the bathroom floor, making getting out of the tub very exciting. Once aware of the situation, our lovely housekeeper dedicated herself to keeping the floor dry.

Now the positives: the Hotel de la Poste cannot be in a better location for walking around Cortina, people watching, and dining. We loved sitting outside enjoying an Apperol Spritz, nibbling on those fabulous olives, and watching people and their dogs stroll by. Breakfast was generous, varied, and served in a luxurious dining room.

The hotel staff was courteous and helpful. We were warmly greeted each time we entered the hotel. Each person we encountered was professional and efficient.

The room decor was dated, but that is not really a factor with my husband and me. We did disagree over the comfort of the bed. He won because he loves sleeping on the hardest of mattresses.

We look forward to returning to Cortina, and, if we decide to stay in the town, we will call Hotel de la Poste.

The hotel is in a very good location in the centre of town. The room itself was lovely and clean with lots of rustic charm, and my room had a stunning view of the mountains (at the rear of the hotel so noise from the street was not an issue). Lorenzo the concierge was very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was wonderful. The room could have improved with a kettle to make tea/coffee and I found the shower a bit difficult to use but overall it was a great stay.

Great hotel with a beautiful canal view from our room. The breakfast had a large variety and nice to sit outside. The location was close to the accademia stop (3m walk) and you can jump on the #1 or #2 vaparetto for quick and easy city access.

Exceptional experience here. The staff was great, and Lorenzo was especially helpful. A great host for us during our stay. Very central location downtown too, so great place to be able to explore the town after a day's activities. Would gladly stay here again.

Charming hotel! Our room was spacious, and outdated in a good way, call it authentic. Staff is very very good (except for the grumpy guy at breakfast), special compliments to the waiter at the terrace outside. Private parking at 100m
from the hotel. I’ll be back!

Absolutely satisfied with my stay.
The staff is polite, helpful and friendly. The food is delicious and the breakfast buffet is rich and good quality. My room was spacious and clean and the furniture classic and elegant, plus I had a private 40 square meters terrace overlooking the mountains. The bar is cozy and quite big, with a warm atmosphere and comfortable velvety sofas and poufs and serves pastries from a famous Italian patisserie. The hotel is central and right in the pedestrian area, but the cable car station is only 10 minutes walk.

Very central location in Cortina with very friendly staff. They have a great breakfast buffet and a nice dinner in the hotel, which was a bit pricey but the food was good. Friendly staff. My only feedback for improvement would be to fix the Wifi access in the room, I stayed in the second floor of the hotel but couldn’t use the wifi there.

Such a charming hotel. Kind staff and in a great location. The shower was a but hard to wrangle at times but super comfortable bed and slept great. The breakfast was so so good. Had their Americano with steamed milk and wonder how I can ever transition to normal American coffee when I go back. Awesome croissants and eggs and bacon, pastries, jam and fresh juices. Makes me more of a morning person staying here. And the front desk person knew it was my birthday and wished me happy birthday multiple times. ❤

Excellent stay in one of the oldest hotels in town. Perfect central location, free parking just 200 m away, rustic apperiance in rooms, bar, restaurant, hotel lobby but with all modern amenities. The room was comfortable, quiet with a welcoming balcony. The breakfast is buffet with excellent choice. The personnel is very atentive and speaking Engish. There is a small photo exhibition of Hemingway who stayed in the hotel and worked in his room.

Charming hotel with mix of traditional and mid-century modern design. Restaurant looks grand and breakfast room cost and alpine. However, the bar stole the show - especially the consumate professional bartender, Giovanni, who made our evenings with custom cocktails and "little jokes" he would play. Very knowledgeable and served us local vodka, gin, and introduced us to a Bergamot liquor that is a new favorite. We went back several times... and will be back to Cortina - even just for a drink.

Great Hotel, perfect localited in Cortina. The room was nice and very clean. The personal of the hotel is awesome and very kind. They give you everything you want and they arrange for having a good time. The food of the restaurant is delicious and the service spotless. I'm very recommanded this place

I had the most incredible stay here... they really went above and beyond to look after our whole group. We were here for a wedding - and it was a perfect venue to all be together.

Very nice hotel in the heart of Cortina. Rooms are nice and very clean. Breakfast was very good in very nice old-fashioned style room. Stuff is very friendly and helpful. Buses which take you to the ski lifts are just in front of the hotel. All restaurants are close to the hotel. Hotel has ski storage.

Great location in the city center and opposite the bus stop for the piste, beautiful historical hotel, spacious room, warm family feeling, great cleaning service, excellent breakfast. Me and my family had a great time and we are very thankful to the hotel team. Only improvement point is the ski room which is a bit too small.

Lovely restaurant and bar.
Cosy and friendly environment and staff. But the main reason I visit this place is Antonio, he’s an historical part of this bar, very professional and gentleman.
Must try the Puccini, one of Antonio’s drink invention. Also go for a Soufflé, best I ever had. Recommend to order it at the start, it takes a while to be prepared.
