Ristorante Il Caminetto

Best Tuscany italian cuisine experience we had in the entire trip around Tuscany. The gnocchi with pear and cheese were something completely out of this world.
The waiter really nice and the ambiance chill.
A must if you are around the area. Good value for the price too.

Very good Italian (Tuscan) restaurant. Reasonable prices, 1st class ingredients, atmospheric place. They serve the real bistecca alla fiorentina (soft and aromatic) and other fantastic meat meals. The menu is quite comprehensive and everybody can find something interesting (pasta, meat, fish, meals for kids, dessert, wines - local and regional).

Excellent steak! Warm atmosphere, we absolutely love this place also the tiramisu was amazing too

We had a wonderful dinner for two. The food looks and tastes amazing. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The ambiance in the restaurant is nice and the service is quick. Prices for the menu items are, in my opinion, more than reasonable. Worth every penny. Would recommend to anyone

Stumbled on this utterly amazing restaurant on our drive across country from Pisa Airport to San Gimignano. It was during a Sunday/Monday public holiday weekend and Tuscany appeared closed on the whole! My wife asked if Caminetto had space n they squeezed us in to their busy full lunchtime sitting. My wife n I decided to go with the four course chefs recommendation. It was faultless, every morsel, the same for the professional service, the wine, the coffee and my wife now has a new favourite cocktail, the Sgroppino! What a way to start our first day in Tuscany! If food is all like that in Tuscany, we're in trouble!! 😁

I have had some doubts and I was wrong...Very clean, very kind host and a good atmosphere...Being in a hurry, we eat a simple food and it was tasty and good! Wine as well!!! Very attractive price at the end! We did not find better in the area!

2 appetizers, 2 first dishes and a second dish of very good quality. Cantuccini and local vinsanto fantastic, pannacotta with a topping too sweet but good. Able to accommodate every request and quick. (Like being able to take away leftovers or change the dessert at the last) Pasteggio's wine "il Caminetto" of excellent production. Barricated Grappa to end on a high note. Medium-low price. No chic guests but nice. Rural and traditional Tuscan place.

Superb traditional Italian restaurant serving beautifully presented meals at such a good price no wonder it was busy and you really should book. Very attentive and charming staff made it such a great experience. Great vegetarian starter and lovely to see children enjoying meals with their families.

Very very good.
We spent a week in Tuscany, picked our restaurants carefully.. there were a lot of really good ones.. and this one is right around the top.
Florentina steak could hardly be better. Lasagna was very good as well. Buffala (on caprese) was the best I have ever eaten. Deserts also deserve compliments.
Staff was very nice and very helpful.
If I could wish for one thing, it would be a sharper knife.
To top it off, prices are very affordable and outside ambient is quite nice.
So.. just visit and enjoy yourself :)

This restaurant was an outstanding experience. Tuscan kitchen at its best - faraona, pollo, pasta - everything was delicious. Good wine selection and fantastic service. Wonderful evening.

Wonderful local restaurant with great Italian food! The Tortellini il Camineto is AMAZING!!!! Wow wow wow!!!! The hosts are wonderful and attentive, the complete 4 course meal on the menu was a great way to get various tastes of what the place has to offer and the environment was the warm, welcoming and genuine Italiano!

Decent place to have a steak after a scorching day in Tuscany
