Podere Felceto

We stayed at Podere Felceto in July for 5 amazing days. Yara and Sara and their parents are absolutely incredible. They always went above and beyond and were so accommodating of our 5 year old son. The property is tucked away and is quiet and peaceful. It is absolutely beautiful. We loved the pool that we used every afternoon to take a break from the heat. They also did a cooking class with us that our son was able to participate it and it was so much fun. We cannot wait to return someday again.

Podere Felceto is a beautiful and peaceful retreat, perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The property offers breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside that will leave you in awe. If you're seeking tranquility and a deep connection with nature, this is the place for you. The nearby vineyards and olive groves create an unforgettable atmosphere. The area is serene, with no restaurants in close proximity, enhancing the sense of seclusion. The nearest dining options are in Panzano di Chianti, about 4 km away. Podere Felceto is truly a haven for those seeking the beauty and peace of Tuscany.

This was our last stop on our trip to Italy and by far was our favorite place to be! Perfectly located next to Panzano and lots of wineries but you were able to feel completely relaxed and at home when staying here.

Yara, Sara and the whole family (Oliver included) really made this stay the most enjoyable that it could have been! From the delicious food, to helping us find taxis after we couldn't get a rental car and being such wondeful people overall. We will definitely be coming back to stay here whenever we are in Tuscany ☺

We had a wonderful stay at Podere Felceto. Gorgeous views from our window🥰. The homemade style dinner with fresh and great ingredients was so delicious!! Love it!
Furthermore, thank Yarra and her family so much. We had a trouble with our car tire in the late evening. They help us everything (I did mean everything - pick up and send off , calling for rental car service, drove back and forth helping us solving the problem with their smile. Thanks so much.

Wonderful place hosted by wonderful people. Roberto’s story about the place and the history is so compelling. Great views of Tuscany and close enough to the city to get everything you may need. Scheduled an intro 30 min mediation session with Roberto and we spent 2 hours!

I’ve stayed here many times with small groups. Every time - the energy is great. The family is incredible! Gorgeous views. Great location. This is my forever place in the Tuscan countryside!

Our time in Tuscany was everything that we had hoped for. It was romantic, picturesque, magical and many more adjectives that I could fill this review with. A big part of what made our visit so memorable was our stay at Podere Felceto. While the accommodations, amenities and views were amazing it was really the hospitality, kindness and genuine warmness from owners Jussara, Roberto and their two daughters Sara and Yara that made our stay memorable and special. We weren't just customers, my wife and I really felt like guests in their home.

The location itself is a great central hub for anyone wanting to see Tuscany. You are right in the middle of the Chianti region and about an hour from Florence.

Our only regret is that we couldn't spend more time at Podere Felceto. I think we'll just have to come back.

My large family (15 adults, 2 children, 2 infants) had an amazing time in the Villa and Fienile at Podere Felceto this past June. The property is gorgeous, we had plenty of space, and the hospitality was world class. Yara and her family are the most welcoming hosts and truly made our week in Chianti the most memorable experience.

The rooms and beds were large, clean, and comfortable. We made several dinners to enjoy in both the indoor and outdoor tabled areas, with the kitchen being well stocked with everything that we needed. The short drive to Panzano and Greve made getting groceries very easy, along with excellent dining options close by. The large tabled areas were perfect for our large family, especially outside under the Pergola and beautiful Tuscan sun. Easily the most beautiful sunsets that I’ve ever seen. We also spent many days at the pool, with excellent views of the rolling hills of Chianti.

We added on the Arrival Organic Buffett, Olive Oil Tasting Dinner, Breakfast, and Tuscan Home cooked Meal. All were amazingly prepared and delicious.

We found the location within Tuscany to be excellent, with 30 min to 1 hour drives to other major areas within the region (San Gimignano, Siena, etc), as well as the beautiful town of Panzano down the street (excellent dining).

Communication with Yara from initial booking until arrival was prompt and excellent. Once again, the most amazing and wonderful hosts. We look forward to coming back and highly recommend staying at Podere Felceto.

Family and friends went from US to Tuscany to share a trip of a lifetime. It did not disappoint and far exceeded our expectations. If you are planning a trip to Tuscany we highly recommend you stay @ Agriturismo Chianti - Podere Felceto. The owners manage the property with love and passion. Upon our arrival we were warmly greeted by Roberto the father, his wife Jussara, their two daughters Yara and Sara who live in a separate home on the property and are there to make sure your every need is met. They want you to embrace the peaceful lifestyle, the breathtaking views and the very best of foods and wine in the surrounding areas. By the end of our stay we can truly say that they became part of our “famiglia”. We stayed for two weeks, 13 of us in the main Villa. What a magical place to celebrate our loved ones birthdays.
The architecture and furnishings alone made you appreciate the dream they have built. Take time to review the list of extra services they provide to enhance the experience. We enjoyed several breakfasts they set up on the terrace at our leisure. The olive oil tasting is a must. They own 1400 olive trees and make their own olive oil. The tasting room is an exquisite space below the Villa and for all those romantics out there it is a must. We learned about the process as the family prepared several courses of food incorporating their extra virgin olive oil. We witnessed incredible sunsets every night through majestic cypress trees overlooking miles of vineyards and olive groves. Early risers walked up the driveway to watch the sunrise above the mountains and in the opposite direction hot air balloons lifted through the Tuscan sky. The quaint towns of Panzano and Greve are close by and worth visiting. We went to the farmers market on Sundays to buy fresh breads, cheeses, meats, tomatoes, vegetables, figs and there were also vendors with leather goods, clothing and hats. We bought Florentine steaks from the famous butcher Dario and my brother cooked it perfectly on the BBQ at the Villa. We are meat lovers and it was the best steak we have ever had. We enjoyed most of our meals and wine on the terrace under the grape vines with spectacular views and endless conversations and laughter. Podere Felceto is centrally located less than an hour to Florence, San Gimignano, and Siena where you can visit the churches, museums, cafes, restaurants and bars and lots of shopping. We drank our way through several wineries and were within walking distance to La Massa vineyards, a must see. You can rent a car with mostly manual transmission but we made an excellent decision and hired a car service My services - Chianti Taxi di Mogni Daniele - Tours, Shuttle and Transfers . Daniele spoke fluent English, his knowledge of the area and connections were invaluable and worth every cent. When in Tuscany, taste the food, savor the wine, eat gelato more than once a day. There is a lot of opportunity to explore and go walking in the cities so “mangiare” you will walk it off. When you need a day of rest, relax by the pool. You will be amazed by the stillness and peacefulness of its surroundings. Most importantly embrace the people, their passion and kindness. Learn a few words Ciao, Grazie and Prego. Podere Felceto is an amazingly beautiful authentic place in the most scenic part of the valley. A quiet, natural, calm place where the mornings and nights are silent, and the days are warm and sunny. The people that own and take care of the place are as kind and nuturing as the surroundings and will help with any request. You come here to live away from hustle and bustle, and find time with yourself, friends, family and nature. We have returned to this place every time we visit Italy for the past 15 years and always feel like we wish we had more time. The nearby town of Panzano is charming and filled with good restaurants and a famous butcher! We love this place and the people and will continue to return. It is truly paradsie.

We had such a lovely stay at Podere Felceto. The property is truly stunning, with fresh herbs growing everywhere and the most incredible panoramic views of the countryside. Our hosts/the family that runs the entire place - Jussara, Roberto and their daughters Yara and Sara - were the most generous and friendly people you could hope to encounter. They made our stay so much more enjoyable.

If you have the opportunity to do the olive oil tasting and dinner there, go for it. We loved having a home cooked meal and hearing about the process of how they make their own olive oil. Even more than that, we loved hearing all of the wonderful stories about Roberto and Jussara's lives.

Comfortable rooms, delightful simple breakfasts, and the most peaceful and beautiful surroundings. A short drive (or nice long walk) to the cute town of Panzano where we had a delicious meal. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

In June of 2022, we got to host our Wedding week at Podere Felceto and it was INCREDIBLE! The setting is a private slice of heaven with picturesque views. Even though the venue was delightfully remote, our guests really enjoyed making easy day trips to sites all around Tuscany - Florence, Pisa, and Sienna. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer!!

Roberto and Jussara were amazing, made everyone feel at home, and even provided us with really meaningful advice as we started our new chapter. For the wedding itself, we worked with several of their great local vendors for flowers, music, etc. with the standout being Chef Jacopo!

Thank you, Del Mastios, for the magical memories. Our friends and family are still raving about your olive oil. We can’t wait for the reunion!

We stayed at Podere Felceto for a week in September and it was just perfect.
First of all, the family that owns the place was wonderful. They were so nice and welcoming! And they gave us great advice on activities, restaurants,... Thank you again to them for their hospitality.
Then the place is amazing too. Beautiful and peaceful. Our room was really nice and had a wonderful view. A view that we could also enjoy from our breakfast table with a delicious breakfast. And the swimming pool is great as well and also offer an amazing view.
Finally, the location of the house is perfect. You are 50 minutes from Florence and Sienna and you have a lot of lovely villages to see in the surroundings.

Our son and his future wife invited family members to attend their wedding at the villa in June. There were 30+ people at the wedding. 13+ family members stayed in the three main buildings. It was a marvelous experience. The main house is beautiful with a very large country kitchen where the main food was prepared. Our cottage was separate from the main house, very quaint and quite comfortable. The remaining family stayed in what was a remodeled barn that had 3 large bedrooms, kitchen and a gathering area. There were facilities with washing machines for the guests. Our host and hostess were available at all times and were extremely accommodating . They helped plan and execute a beautiful wedding for our son and wife. I highly recommend the Podere Felceto to anyone who wants to experience Tuscany or just enjoy good wine and relax in one of Italy's most beautiful areas. It is only a short dive to Panzano and some of Italy's lovely small villages.

Monasteries used to welcome medieval travelers giving them a place to stay and rest.
Looking to experience that feeling, you need to visit Podere Felceto in the heart of Tuscany, midway between Firenze and Siena.
The family of Roberto, Jussara, Sara and Yara welcomed us for 4 days to celebrate my wife's 49th birthday and off course our wedding.
They made us feel like coming home and gave our group an experience we'll never forget.
Combined with a eye opening pizza course and an amazing wedding diner we never wanted to leave.

A must visit in Tuscany, we'll definitely go back.

Nice place with very nice owners. They helped us a lot during the stay with calling local restaurants and wineries. In addition they planned our bicycle trip with us. Every morning the daughters of the owner prepared a delicious authentic breakfast for us and everytime we had a long chat with the owner family about today's plans. They really know everyone in the area and are so happy and ready to help. That we really enjoyed a lot. After wine and biking we relaxed at the pool with the astounding views over the neighboring vineyards.
We can warmly recommend this treat of an agritourismo and it conjures us with a smile to think back to these wonderful warm summerdays in beautiful Toscany.

We absolutely loved our week to Podere Felceto! The cottage was perfect for the two of us, very confortable and beautiful. (The only flaw is that we didn’t had access to a kitchen, which was difficult for us, because we love to cook! But fortunately, there are very good restaurants in Panzano.) Roberto, Jusara and their daughters were very kind and helpful. We had a lot of fun and we laughed a lot. They gave us good advice and helped greatly with our Vespa trip! The olive oil tasting and the dinner prepared by our guess were fantastic. We would gladly return if we were to spend another week in the Chianti. Incredible view, we were amazed.
