La Taverna di Umberto

After trying to eat here for a few days, we finally got a reservation on our last night. The food was very tasty. The wine was great and the overall atmosphere was spectacular. I wish we would’ve gotten the spigola a sale but we were just not that hungry. The mixed grigliate was amazing. The pulpo was very fresh and I strongly recommend this place for all seafood lovers.

The spaghetto with polpa di ricci was stunning, prime materials at their best.

With a very selected variety of dishes,friendly stuff and golden heart owner.
If you want to eat local then Umberto is def your place.

I discovered this place in 2018 and today drove down for 1.5 hours from Barletta for lunch. I was not disappointed. Do yourself a favor and go. The seaside village is nice to walk around too.
