Camping La Focetta Sicula

We visited using our ACSI card. Shown to our pitch under shade and the electric point was unlocked for us. If you want a pitch overlooking the sea (hardstanding / no shade, you will pay extra.) Quite close to other vans but not a problem. 2 lots of washrooms / toilets, very clean. Shower tokens €1 for 4 minutes hot water. Provide own toilet paper. Vending machine for snacks and drinks. Supermarket round the corner. Restaurants nearby (walkable). Reception closed after 11am. Not open till mid afternoon but we were allowed in at around 14.30 hours. I don't think it officially opens till later.
Overall, a good experience. Interesting reading the comments. Many customers find the campsite great. A few don't like to follow the rules set by the owner. We should all get on with smiles and a relaxed attitude.

We didn't stayed at your campsite but behind it, because after reading so many "unfriendly staff" complains. We do not care about price, electricity free or not we do not care even if there is no hot water, we have in our camper, but if staff is gonna piçç you off during your holiday its the worse what could happen during your stay! You should think about it!. We stayed at the neighbourhood parking the owner was kind helpful cheering person that instead of 1 night we stayed three! Greetings! Really nice place right by the beach! The host was very helpful and friendly, definitely recommend, especially during offseason :)

I think that Google reviews really do not justice to this place. You have your own beach from the camp and the bungalows are very spacious and clean, with the biggest balcony you will get anywhere in Sicily (we stayed in Sciacca and Palermo as well).

Lady at reception was very helpful. You can pick either a pitch facing the sea in the sun or on grass in the shade. Clean toilets and showers, 1 minute walk from supermarket, 20 minute walk to train station.

I spent 12 nights on this serene little Camping in August 2019. I enjoyed the calm atmosphere, very clean bathrooms and showers, the beach right in front, a supermarket close by (5min walking distance), a cozy bar with good coffee and very welcoming and helpful staff. Duing the night, though, there was often music by a beach club nearby, so bring your earplugs and you'll be fine. Thank you for a wonderful vacation! :)

Nice small, safe, very clean campsite, perfect to relax, with a big playground for kids and directly on a beach. Bar was closed, however drinks and icecream were available at the reception and from vending machines. Great starting point to explore Etna, Taormina, Alcantara and return to peaceful camp after adventorous day out.

Lovely place - small and simple but with all you need, plus quick access to shops and restaurants. Very friendly, helpful manager. Direct view of and access to the sea a huge plus for me. Plenty of trees provide shade, and our bungalow was clean and functional with a spacious verandah.

Great little spot right on the beach - basic facilities, but it's all you really need. The best host we've discovered yet (we're 3 months into our road trip), so friendly and helpful in every way! Would recommend!

Amazing place, great view of the sea, calm and quiet, has all amenities, the owner is very kind, we didn't miss anything! I recommend!

Very nice, cozy campsite, fast and direct access to the beach. Clean and well made Bungalows. The team made us feel very welcome! Looking forward for another stay!

We came to Sicily for a friend's wedding which took place in Taormina. This was the a bit further away from posh touristic places, but it had everything we needed - friendly staff, local shops and restaurants, clean and modern bungalows, free private parking. It was four of us staying in one bungalow, and it was good enough size.

Nice stopover place for campers , very clean, well organised, surrounded with nature & by the sea ...spectacular sunrise views over the Mediterranean Sea ...not far from Taormina & other Sicilian landmarks highly recommend
