The standard room at Hotel Palazzo Ravizza was the best room we stayed in during our two-week tour of Italy! It was spacious with a king bed, and had a breathtaking view of the garden and hills of Tuscany.
The location is fantastic, as it is just outside of the main square on a quiet street. You can easily walk anywhere, but are able to enjoy the peaceful evenings.
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and breakfast in the mornings was better than expected!
I would absolutely stay here again.

One of the concierges was a bit haughty, but the room was gorgeous, the location excellent, and most of the staff were very helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was very good. The garden area overlooking the countryside absolutely made this a premier choice. Wifi was not very good.

The hotel was in a great location inside the walls of Siena. The deluxe room was roomy, very comfortable bed, and nice big bathroom.
We loved the beautiful big courtyard overlooking the Tuscan countryside where we enjoyed drinks and the sunset.
Complementary breakfast was an unexpected delight - very generous and tasty.
The service was excellent we helpful directions instructions on getting to the hotel and to the hotel's private parking - a huge boon in Siena with the strict ZTL.

Fantastic hotel in Siena. Easy car park.
The room was huge with comfortable furniture and an enormous bed...
Iron & ironing board (rare in italy) saved my laundry.
AC actually worked but the open window at night provided a fresh breeze with NO MOSQUITOS.
The shower was nice and hot with lots of good pressure. Bathroom was very very clean as was the bedroom. Towels were generous and fluffy.
Spent the afternoon recovering from a long drive drive on the patio with some local bread, handmade cheese and a nice bottle of chianti we picked up in San Giamanno.
Overall this place rocked for us.

Hotel Palazzo Ravizza is really a nice place to stay. While not fancy, it truly has the sensation of bringing one to an earlier time due to vintage decor. The location is just inside the city center wall and in a quiet location. The parking is also free which is a major advantage. They send directions to get to the front desk where you check in and then park in their lot in the back. If there is a passenger who cannot climb steep stairs leave them at the hotel since the stairs are steep from the lot. The room that we were given was large with a fantastic view of the city outside the city wall and the countryside. The bathroom was good. We got the room without breakfast but there are local cafes with great coffee and pastry. Great value for this hotel and we would stay here again!

We stayed here for three nights about ten days ago, in April. This was our third visit because we enjoy this hotel so very much. We prefer the rooms with the garden views. This hotel offers very rare private parking in the back so we didn't have to carry our luggage through town. The staff are wonderful and the bar prices very reasonable. A continental breakfast is included. It is wonderful to spend time in a historic building, as well.

A wonderful stay in the quiet side of central Siena. Perfectly located on a quiet street only minutes from the busy historic central. A beautiful old building, quiet, cool, refined. No luxuries just simple accommodation done very well. Helpful attentive staff, parking available behind the hotel (you need to drive to the hotel main entrance then pass your vehicle registration details to the front desk so the police don't issue a fine then drive back around to the street with the car park, but leaving your luggage in reception to avoid carrying it up the several flights of steps between the car park and the hotel rear entrance). Breakfast was simple but ample for most people's needs. The coffee wasn't good, better to head to a nearby bar for a proper cappuccino or espresso. The terraced garden is a wonderful quiet space with shade for relaxing and taking in the view. Garden side room get to also enjoy the beautiful Tuscan views. The guest room was spacious and quiet. Lovely to sleep with the window open and then be woken by birdsong. I miss my stay here already. Grazie mille e arrivederci!

My top recommendation in Siena. Fantastic location, charming ambience, lovely antiques, generous proportions. Grab it now while it's still affordable. One day soon their prices will triple. Great value and dedicated staff.

Made all my Tuscany window dreams come true. Get a room with a garden view. It’s a stunning hotel. Comfy bed, good sheets, clean. And lovely staff. Plus the parking and the directions to park were spot on. Would stay again.

A private Tuscan garden with picturesque views of the countryside surrounding Siena. Lovely and helpful staff and a prime location near the campo and duomo. This place can’t be beat in Siena!

The stay at Palazzo Ravizza was outstanding. Our room had a beautiful view, this was a garden view, on the third floor, which was of not just the garden but Siena and the countryside. The view was truly spectacular. The windows allow fresh air to come inside the room, which is another unique aspect of the stay here. The room had ceiling decor which was really pretty; they have a library where you can borrow a book, most of which were in English. The garden is lovely and a nice place to enjoy the view or take a stroll. There was a wedding party in the garden one of the days were were there, it's that lovely! The hotel is very pretty and super close to the sights and shops. Cecilia at the front desk was pleasant, humorous, and provided great information on the area, including where to go to eat. She and Francesca made the stay very smooth. We had a car to park and they gave us very clear instructions on how to get to the parking area, which otherwise would have been more challenging. I would absolutely stay here again!

This is our 2nd time staying at Ravizza and it is incredible in every way. The ease of communication from Francesca before we even arrived all the way through check out. You feel like you stepped back in time and we’re invited to stay with Italian royalty in there home. Absolutely spotlessly clean. Incredible location. 5 minute walk from the busy tourist area. Can’t wait to go back!

Perfectly located to explore the city. They kindly upgraded us to a larger room which was really nice. Parking was a definite bonus. Very good experience

Fantastic place to stay! Gorgeous views from the garden balcony, friendly and professional staff, lovely rooms. It’s quiet, and a perfect walking distance to all of the sights and restaurants. We booked one night and wound up staying another because we loved it here so much. You can order a glass of wine at the little bar next to the front desk, and drink it on the garden balcony overlooking the hillsides. Highly recommended.

Totally recommend. Really lovely and helpful staff, fabulous patio with incredible views for an aperitif, great location, terrific views from rooms on the back/garden side. The whole hotel has a charming style with tile floors, dramatic ceiling heights, the rooms are very clean and spacious but not super updated (beds very firm, heat apparently not very adjustable). Free and available in-town parking is a great bonus.

This place is wonderful! My room was beautiful and the bathroom sparkled. The breakfast was delicious and the outside landscaping made me feel like I was in a romance movie! The staff was incredibly helpful, professional, and knowledgeable! Made our time in Siena so memorable.

Charming hotel just a five or ten minute walk to everything in Siena! It's location affords the amazing views and beautiful garden which are picture perfect in the morning for breakfast, in the afternoon for a drink, and in the evening for sunset. Well appointed, the rooms are large by European standards, the staff is attentive and friendly. No detail was forgotten from the welcoming lobby full of books and a wine bar and the bowls of chips served with afternoon drinks. The breakfast is so well prepared and presented. It's quiet and peaceful. This hotel may well be the reason we choose to come back to Siena. A true gem!

Rooms are enormous, luxurious and full of character. Beds are similarly huge, with very soft & comfortable bedding. Power showers.
Perfect service.
The view and the gardens are stunning, and the location is right in the centre.
WiFi is generally fast enough for streaming. The TVs are relatively small, and without USB ports. The hotel is only wheelchair accessible from the street; the car park is via several flights of stairs. Rooms facing the street can be noisy during business hours.
