Hotel Domus Pacis Assisi

Great value for money.

The hotel is a 10-15 minute from the train station, next to Santa Maria degli Angeli cathedral and it is linked to Assisi by public buses (15' minutes trip).

It has a wide park area all around for walking and there is a large super market nearby as well as small local shops.

Rooms are comfortable with high ceiling and properly tempered. Minor renovation needed in some parts or with furniture but relatively clean in most areas.
There is a room to store your luggage (unattended) and a coffee & souvenir shop in the main entrance

Breakfast is basic, cold cuts and white bread/rusks, yogurt and little or no vegan options.

A beautiful place and beautiful service. Italian food is delicious. This place is cheap and just amazing.

Great location right next to the Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Angels. Beautiful grounds and comfortable rooms. Very good breakfast, and a nice restaurant for other meals. There is a nice snack bar with expresso, sandwiches, and drinks. Easy to find and plenty of parking. Close to the city of Assisi.

I have gotten the opportunity to stay twice in this hotel. It's picturesque, with the beautiful reception cum open store attached to it, the bright lunch/dinner rooms, comfortable rooms to stay in and the helpful staff of the hotel.
I specifically remember Tau as it's associated with Saint Francis of Assisi. What's even more beautiful is that the rooms are adorned with the Cross of St. Francis of Assisi. Ohh, the rooms are spacious too. The store has a good collection of religious articles.
Looking forward to visiting this hotel soon.

I could not fit into shower. It was more suitable for a child or very small adult. Hotel graciously changed my room to one with a larger shower. Adults avoid room 130.

The hotel is very near the church of Santa Maria degli Angeli. The rooms are cheap and comfortable. The food is good also.
