Surprise find! We stayed at nearby Hotel Milomax (150 m up the road) and saw this curious and inviting looking building by coincidence when driving by.

Even though we weren't hungry, we couldn't help it but to drop by to take a look. We ordered a light meal of shared dishes / appetizers and bottle of local wine.

Loved the character of the place, setup and personal service. That said, the waiters felt like good cop, bad cop. One seemed always grim and we baptized him Count Dracula's servant. 🧛‍♂ It really only added to the experience. ;)

Recommended by a local and it was amazing. Pork and lamb dishes were extremely nice. No wonder why the place is so popular.

This place was magical. Very popular you should make a reservation. Amazing food and the place and service was also amazing! You need to go eat here. My favorite plates where the Tagliatelle al ragu bianco di coniglio and the baccalla dorato!

Quite possibly one of the nicest restaurants I have ever visited.
Such a warm welcome from all of the staff and the owner/host. Our Italian is somewhat limited but the staff took us through the menu and pointed out the most popular dishes. The family friendly atmosphere was fantastic, and a decor that made the visit all the more interesting. It was obvious that the restaurant is well frequented by locals, all of whom were warmly welcomed back. The food was exceptional, and for the quality, reasonably priced, so much so, that on leaving, we made a reservation for the following evening.

Unusual interior for a restaurant but oh so charming. Very good service and excellent food, from the starter to the main course it was excellent.

Real typical restaurant, great food and staff, with traditional apetizers by the house. A beautiful place that I recommend.

Delicious food and cosy atmosphere! We were just in the adventure park nearby and stopped for lunch, but it was really worth it even to dry to this place as its own setinations. Would like to visit again🤗

Unique place in the West Etna region. Very cosy, original and price/quality more than correct. To start you get boiled eggs and best homemade mayonaise ever, never seen before and the kids loved it just as I did. Amazing Franciacorta that put my wife on fire and the lamb ribs were delicious too. Finally, although using the wrong brand, they were very helpful when asking what chocolate they use in the dessert. Absolute must when you're around for everyone.

Delicious meal here. Started with hard-boiled egg and mayonnaise, which was an experience in itself. The hearty beef meal we had and excellent arancini were the highlight for me, as well as the locally sourced 'slow food's is a tip to look out for. Outside of this we had a fantastic band come in and play for us.

So good we came again. Lovely atmosphere. Great food and delicious local wine (baron del villagrande). Recommend carpaccio and the pizza with buffalo and pork cheek, a heavenly combination.

This was a great restaurant of the area. I must say we were a table of 21 and still they coped with us very well. The restaurant patron is a very nice guy, jolly and he also suggested us some of their best dishes. Food was exquisite. Serving also gluten free options. Lamb is highly recommended but all other dishes were great. A vast wine selection too. A must visit for all who cherish a nice dining experience!
