Hotel Villa Belvedere

The Hotel Villa Belvedere in Taormina is one of the most beautiful hotels I know. It is the most beautiful hotel in Taormina. Best view of the bay, beautiful garden, lovely pool. The lively streets of Taormina are only a few minutes' walk away. The breakfast is delicious. Everything you need from savory to sweet and also small baked vegetables. No dinner is offered, but you can have snacks by the pool. The best thing, however, is the service: everyone is very friendly and tries to make everything possible! Whether it's wine and pizza in the room in bad weather or something else. Highly recommended from my point of view. We had booked through a third party and booked a room with a terrace, which was not apparent from the booking. We got the room anyway. Initially for an extra charge, but the staff did some research in the background and found out that everything was correct and told us that of course we didn't have to pay anything extra. You don't often experience that. Many thanks to all the staff!

A beautiful hotel which is well situated just a short walk from the main town and the main bus terminal. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful - nothing is too much trouble. The views are stunning and the rooms very comfortable and spacious. The swimming pool area and hotel grounds are very well maintained. The breakfast is amazing with just about everything you could want. You can order freshly cooked pancakes, omelettes and eggs also various coffees and teas. We will definitely be returning in the future as well as recommending to family and friends.

There is nothing to say about the rooms and locations: excellent as you can expect. Yet, I would like to emphasize the amazing service and help we received from the staff, the front desk (Julia if we remember the name correctly) and the manager. Our train is scheduled to depart at the night of checking-out and they generously offer us to stay in one of their rooms after checking-out until the midnight for free. What a caring and lovely gesture! This is the very first time we have experience after traveling across a dozens of countries with numerous 5-star hotels.

Stopped by at the lobby bar during our trip in Taormina and Salvatore was amazing! He was incredibly courteous and provided the best service while we were there. All our drinks were tasty and his recommendations were on point.

It’s a four star but it really feels like a five. The whole place just scream luxury from the moment you arrive. Incredible scenery, beautiful rooms overlooking the Strait of Messina, exceptional service. Couldn’t imagine a better place from which to explore this wonderful city.

Loved this suite with 2 bathrooms! So perfect! We had our own covered patio, so lovely. Bed was amazing. Delicious breakfast with warm and kind service. Negative-parking. Expensive and difficult but that Taormina! Friendly helpful staff.

Inviting, gracious and kind hospitality even during the offseason. The studio suite had incredible panoramic views and the staff members I met were incredibly welcoming to the pets I travel with. Would absolutely stay again during the spring or summer when all the amenities are available.

We loved this hotel. We were there for 2 nights with our small tour group (10). It’s a small boutique hotel with a lot of personality which is lovely but it does mean the rooms vary considerably and you need to be sure to have a room facing the sea and with a balcony. We were lucky to have that and the view was magical. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel doesn’t offer dinner but there are many excellent options a short walk away. They do offer lunch beside the pool and breakfast was the best of any hotel on our tour of Sicily. Highly recommended!

This hotel deserves 5 stars instead of 4, travelled here with my parents and was super happy with the service and amenities! Would recommend this hotel to anyone, you can tell that emphasis is put on the smallest of details, the staff are beyond helpful and knowledgeable!

The level of hospitality and attention to details is incredible! Absolutely 5 star. The staffs went extra mile to ensure that I was able to enjoy every minute. Plus excellent view of the beach and Mountain Ethan from the balcony! I will definitely recommend it to friends!

Fantastic stay. They had delicious food and excellent service. Centrally located and easy to get around Taormina without a car. I parked for my stay and they kept it safe. Thanks for taking care of me and allowing me access the the elevator to the pool as I was injured prior to my arrival.

I can't say enough great things about this hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were treated like family in this family-owned jewel of Taormina. We were immediately offered a glass of Prosecco, as our reception host sat with us and went over all of the hotel's services and amenities. After that, we were personally escorted to our room, and a dinner reservation was immediately confirmed for us at a nearby restaurant. Our rooms was gorgeous, clean and beautifully appointed, with a terrace that overlooked both the pool and the sea. Breathtaking view! The breakfast buffet, with terrace seating, was the highlight of each morning, and the poolside restaurant (open only for lunch) served some of the finest food we ate in all of Taormina. In a world where the small details of hospitality are slowly going by the wayside, it is encouraging to see them so beautifully preserved within the walls of this hotel. We will definitely be recommending this experience (for that is what it was) to everyone, and hope to visit this lovely, magical hotel in the future!

We had a two week vacation in Italy and stayed at some great hotels and had some wonderful experiences.

The Hotel Belvedere was by far the best hotel we stayed in. The rooms were comfortable and impeccably cleaned every day.

The food at the pool were some of the best lunches we had during the entire stay. It made us rearrange our schedules to make sure we had 'lunch at the pool.'

The best part of all were the staff. Rita and Joshua stood out. There were others I just couldn't name that were also tops. There is nothing bad I could say about our stay here...truly top notch.

My sisters and I stayed at Hotel Belvedere for three nights, and we left wanting more. We had an extremely lovely and relaxing time, it’s incredibly walkable, and the views, staff and service were exceptional. We tried booking online and everything was fully booked - we emailed the hotel directly and were thrilled they were able to accommodate us. They arranged a car to pick us up from the airport holding a sign upon our arrival, and were so helpful to even arrange a boat tour. The little details like including three water bottles in our room, and daily cleaning / replenishing of supplies were noticed and greatly appreciated. The beds were comfortable, and we loved the breakfast selection - they offer a nice spread of options. The fruit was fresh, sweet and delicious and everyone was incredibly nice and helpful. My sisters and I are from Los Angeles, and will definitely be returning as it was a wonderful experience and Sicily in itself is gorgeous. Thank you for a wonderful stay and five star experience!!!

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at this hotel! The suite we were given more than exceeded our expectations with a kitchen & amenities like china, silverware and bar. The view from the balcony was spectacular! Everything was top notch esp. air conditioning since there was a heat wave when we got there!! Staff was wonderful (thank you Mario and Rosanna!) so was the breakfast and snack bar. They were kind enough to send us lunch to our room even though there’s no room service, which was wonderful! Pool is nice but it was too hot for us to use it! Very close to the gardens & center and also to the Greek theatre. Excellent hotel with a boutique feel, we highly recommend it!

I just returned from an 8 night stay at Hotel Villa Belvedere and it was absolute perfection. The hotel is beautiful with spectacular views and is conveniently located just a few minutes walk from the center of town. The rooms were impeccably cleaned every day. The food at the pool was a highlight for us. The staff is friendly and goes above and beyond for guests. Highly recommended!

Beautiful boutique hotel. Super friendly staff. Perfect location, 5 min walk to town. The hotel reminds me of staying in a huge mansion. Our room was huge and immaculate, 2 exquisite bathrooms . ( Air conditioning worked exceptionally well).
Breakfast was included. Delicious and fresh. We ate out one the charming veranda with a fabulous view.
I highly recommend the Hotel Villa Belvedere. I will definitely stay here next time we are in Taormina.

This hotel is amazing. We had a bad experience at another hotel in Taormina, and decided to switch hotels last minute. We found Hotel Belvedere - and, wow, just wow. How lucky we were to find such a gem in a prime location, centrally located near restaurants and shops. But the real gem, was JOSHUA. He was so kind and helpful and made our experience at the hotel the best it could be. I would 1000% stay here again and ensure Joshua was working because he hooked it up with everything.

A neighbor who stayed here highly recommended this hotel. I was coming in December, when the main hotel would be closed for renovations, but they offered me a panoramic suite in a small building they own across the street from the entrance. It had a balcony with a sweeping view of the sea and the erupting Mt Etna. The service was above and beyond. They parked my car and brought in the luggage. The suite got meticulously cleaned and serviced daily. They delivered a breakfast every morning – anything I asked for. Staying here was a wonderful, memorable experience that I will remember for many years.
