Chalet Morel

Julia & Morino are fantastic hosts. All the food is incredibly fresh and their knowledge of accompanying wines etc. is fantastic. The location is really something else. My only regret is that we weren't able to stay longer. I would highly recommend. The best place we stayed in the whole area.

I stayed here with my extended family and friends, as soon as we booked the stay Morino and Julia accommodated our every need. Clear and concise instructions as to how to get there as one of the roads close to the resort was closed (which we ignored - don't make this mistake). The chalet is at the top of the piste and we were collected with all our bags by scudo which added to the magic.

The chalet has an excellent mix of being personal enough to relax beyond measure (even with kids and a dog) and having a vibe that made us only want to be there for lunch and dinner. Subtle DJ for lunch and more relaxing open fire at night - perfect! We had some of the best skiing we've ever had, as tourists, the slopes were much quieter than the usual Alpes resorts, the runs seem wider and plenty to get around.

The owners have been in the restaurant business and you can tell this with the high quality of food. We let them choose what we had for dinner most nights (bespoke off-the-menu requests were never an issue), from steaks to pasta, it was just what we wanted - thank you all for making our trip such a success! We will be back 5*s plus!

We spent a wonderful, relaxing few days here and could've easily spent a week. The couple who own the hotel are very nice and friendly, the restaurant is fantastic (food is fresh and delicious), and the views from the rooms are simply incredible.

There's also a lot of great hikes (to see ruins, etc) and towns nearby, so there's lots to keep you busy.

In case you're wondering, the wifi is strong (we streamed Netflix) and mobile signal is decent.

Perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the coast. Food is delicious, rooms were spacious and light and comfortable. Wine list was fantastic. The chef was very accommodating to my dietary requirements which is also a massive bonus. We were made to feel very welcome and I couldn't recommend enough. We will see you soon for some skiing for sure!!

Hôtel magnifique avec prestations de hautes qualités. De la chambre avec une vue exceptionnelle sur la montagne, en passant par le restaurant et ses plats délicieux, le côté lounge pour l’apéro et la localisation (sur les pistes) tout était parfait.
Les propriétaires étaient au petit soin.

Cependant attention car l’hôtel est inaccessible en voiture, il faut faire appel à l’hôtel pour qu’ils viennent vous récupérer (et pour chaque déplacement).

Ottima base per escursioni. Belle camere. Una sera abbiamo usufruito della cena mangiando veramente bene. Posizione fantastica isolata con bella vista sulla Rocca dell’Abisso. Peccato per gli impianti di risalita che non sono funzionanti e d’estate rovinano un po’ l’ambiente.

Siamo stati in questo luogo incantato due notti e ne abbiamo tratto un’esperienza bellissima. Eravamo io, mio marito e mio figlio di 18 anni. Abbiamo anche cenato al ristorante che consigliamo vivamente. Cura dei dettagli e atmosfera accogliente e raffinata. Camera mansardata in stile montano dotata di tutti i comfort e con terrazzino su una vista mozzafiato. Grazie ai consigli dei gentili proprietari abbiamo fatto escursioni fantastiche. La sera, avvolti in calde coperte, abbiamo ammirato milioni di stelle. Silenzio, pace e tranquillità. Spazi comuni super cozy, elegantissimi in stile. In inverno, per chi scia, è certamente molto comodo essendo a quota quasi 1600 m direttamente sulle piste.

Une bien belle expérience que ce chalet Morel dans lequel nous avons passé quatre merveilleux jours. La situation du lieu est tout à fait exceptionnelle au milieu des bois… L’accueil l’est tout autant et notre charmante hôte a tout fait pour rendre notre séjour inoubliable.
Que ce soit les chambres ( vue sur les montagnes ) ou les espaces communs, la décoration est superbe (façon Chalet de Montagne, )calme et reposante .
La cuisine est à la hauteur du lieu …des choses simples, mais parfaitement exécutées avec de bons produits.
Encore 1000 mercis pour ce séjour.
