Appartamento La Torre

The place where we have been staying for 5 days (La Torre) is the most amazing holiday home we ever saw. A mediaval tower (13th century) converted into a modern, comfortable accommodation for tourists. We have never seen such an incredible achievement in our lives. This is beyond imagination. You got to do this. A lot of respect for the family and the people who realized this project, both architects and professionals. What an extraordinary job! They should be especially proud of it. Not only the accommodation is wonderful, also the beautiful location atop a hill with amazing views of the surrounding area. During this short stay we saw stunning panoramas and beautiful places like Pienza, Montefollonico, Lake Trasimeno, Perugia, Assisi and Siena. These places will stay in our memories for ever. Until we meet again our specials thanks go to the owners of this little paradise in Torrita di Siena. They made a dream of our temporary stay. No question was too much. Everything was perfectly fine, the welcome, the hospitality, the atmoshre and conviviality. Our special thanks go to Sara’s mother Marisa for her amiable and enthusiastic welcome at our arrival, her father Fabrizio who showed us around in his olive grove and last but not least for Sara’s wonderful guidance herself, her suggestions and her personal welcome. We only regret that we already have to return home, but we will be back, that’s for sure. To all of you, our dear friends in Italy, our specials thanks for making our dreams come true.

La Torre is the highlight of many years of our travels in Italy. We stayed in 5* hotels, cosy agriturismos and everywhere between over the years, but nothing as unique, charming and quite luxurious as this. It is an expertly renovated historical building in the old town part of Torrita de Siena. The materials used are exquisite, the craftsmanship is amazing, the heart and soul of this building is beyond anything I can describe. Ours hosts are the most welcoming Tuscan family, the house has its own private cellar stocked with local wines and the family's own olive oil. There is an amazing butcher's shop, mini supermarket with amazing fresh local breads and produce, a (nearly 5*) small restaurant all within less then 5 minutes walk from the house. The town is easy car ride from major attractions, thermal spas, wineries while provides you calm and quiet space to return to each day. The roof terrace has sweeping views over the area, it's an oasis to relax and take in your surroundings. We will be most certainly back! Thank you Sara!

New, clean, with no signs of use (VII 2022), fully equipped, spacious house. Located in the old town of Torrita, on the line of the city walls, with a roof terrace offering great views of the surrounding area (because the city is also on a hill).
A living room with a mezzanine, a kitchen and a separate dining room. This house allows 4 people to sleep comfortably in two double beds (one in mezzaine and second as a sofa in living room). And in addition there is a small wine cellar where you can buy various bottles of wine;).
The house is decorated with attention to detail and comfort, full of wardrobes, drawers, electrical sockets. Air conditioning on each floor, electric sunroof.
The owners were very friendly, helpful and enthusiastic, on the day of arrival they provided us with water, fruit and baked snacks!
A few steps from the house there is a bar with delicious coffee and cakes, in the old town there is a restaurant "Gio'Steria" with great dinners.
Torrita is beautiful and ... tourist-free, on its own is a great spot for excursions around the area.
Be aware that the house is not suitable for people with reduced mobility and for small children (a lot of stairs, just like in the tower).

What a wonderful, cosy house that represents tuscany in all aspects. The house was big enough to house 4 people and was very clean. The owners are super friendly and courteous.

La Torre ci rimarrà sempre nel cuore e nello spirito, non solo per il suo splendore..ma anche per la meravigliosa accoglienza che abbiamo ricevuto da Sara e dalla sua mamma!!
La casa è qualcosa di unico..le foto non rendono proprio l'idea di cosa sia realmente: una dimora storica ,ristrutturata e arredata con tanta cura e gusto, estremamente pulita e profumata in ogni suo angolo!! È quasi come un simpatico labirinto...si sale...si scende...una scoperta continua!
Veramente un peccato essere rimasti una sola notte, avremmo voluto stare molto di più!

UNA JOYA EN LA TOSCANA.
MARAVILLOSA torre del siglo XIII recientemente restaurada con un trabajo arquitectónico exquisito, decorada con un gusto difícil de superar y con una ubicación inmejorable. Sin duda 100% recomendable.

5 stelle meritatissime: l' appartamento è sontuoso, la posizione ottima, la pulizia ineccepibile e la disponibilità e cortesia dei proprietari sono veramente eccezionali! Torneremo sicuramente!

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa splendida struttura in 4 ….due adulti e due bambini. La casa è bellissima … curata nei minimi particolari ….. la proprietaria gentile e accogliente … ha lasciato anche dei biscotti fatti in casa per la colazione …. e tutto l’occorrente per preparare tè o caffè . Ci siamo innamorati di questa casa vacanza. Tutto perfetto.

Abbiamo soggiornato presso la Torre nell'agosto 2022, eravamo quattro ragazze e devo dire che in quella casa abbiamo lasciato il cuore . La casa è assolutamente pulita, confortevole e curata nei minimi dettagli. La struttura è dotata di televisore in sala da pranzo e camera da letto, cucina attrezzata con bollitore e macchina del caffè e condizionatori sui due piani che le ospiti ci hanno fatto trovare accesi al nostro arrivo. Dal meraviglioso terrazzino si gode di una vostra strepitosa sulle colline circostanti. Nota di merito oltre alla casa splendida va sicuramente alla proprietaria e alla madre che ci hanno accolto come se fossimo in famiglia e con una disponibilità rara da incontrare , addirittura facendoci trovare acqua in frigo, frutta, biscotti fatti in casa e cialde del caffè per la macchinetta elettrica. Abbiamo usufruito anche della cantina che offre vino rosso e vino bianco.
Da Torrita abbiamo potuto visitare tutti i borghi più belli della Val d'Orcia.
Speriamo di tornarci presto

Esperienza unica. Proprietaria gentile e disponibile. Appartamento pulito, ordinato, nuovo e situato in un paesino carinissimo e raggiungibile a pochi secondi a piedi dal parcheggi gratuiti fuori le mura. Vista del terrazzo strepitosa e qualità prezzo più che ottima. Torneremo assolutamente e lo consigliamo piu che vivamente.

La Torre è molto più di un luogo di soggiorno: è una esperienza! La casa, molto grande e pulitissima, è dislocata su 3 piani. Si può godere di una deliziosa e intima terrazza da dove ammirare il bel panorama. L'accoglienza è così bella che emoziona. Non manca niente, si ha solo nostalgia quando è ora di andare.

Io e la mia famiglia abbiamo soggiornato nel graziosissimo appartamento di Sara per qualche giorno, ma avremmo desiderato prolungare il soggiorno perché siamo stati davvero bene!
L'ospitalità di Sara e della sua mamma, l'atmosfera accogliente, la cura dei dettagli ed il pittoresco contesto del borgo di Torrita ci hanno reso la vacanza piacevole e rilassante, facendoci sentire coccolati e a completamente a nostro agio.
Torneremo sicuramente!

È stata una meravigliosa giornata in Torre. Un appartamento deliziosa tutto in ordine manca nulla!! Per relax e respirare un perfetto posto!!
