Lungomare Restaurant Cucina & Pizza

We went to this restaurant on the first night of our stay and splashed out on the 4 course tasting menu with wine pairing.

Food wise, there was not 4 courses, there was actually 7. Everything was of a high standard, tasted fantastic and come the end after the 4 different desserts it is the single longest time I have spent in a restaurant.

The wine pairing were fantastic sticking with local wines that really complimented the food.

Service was impeccable and when one of the dishes was not to one of the diner's tastes they created another course to what the waiter overheard during the meal bringing it out without us even asking. The single best service I have had in a very long time.

I cannot recommend this place enough for the price, quality and service is spot on.

Wow , finally i found a real restaurant ! From the beggining they bring to the customers really nice treat and a few courtesies from the house , amazing everything ! Like cheff i wanna say the grill steak and the grill fish was really good , also the dessert with lemon cream ! One of the best experiences in a restaurant in my life and so far in Italy ! CONGRATS 👏

Food is amazing. There are specials to all for from your server. We had a buffalino pizza, roasted Ontarios and squid spaghetti. Very delicious. Service was insignificantly slow but much worth it. House is generous with complimentary fried mozzarella and bread varieties. There are indoor and outdoor seating with various atmosphere. Highly recommending.

We ate at Lungomare on our last night of family holiday and had a great experience.

The welcome at 21:30 was very friendly. We had no trouble getting a table. The owner seemed happy to see us and wished us a nice evening and all the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The menu was interesting and varied. We ordered no starters but were each served a small pizza fritta which was a new experience for me, and just the right size of appetizer I needed. Just before our mains they brought a cover of four different breads, each clearly made in house and each suite different.

For mains, we had one Margherita pizza, one Marinara pizza, and two pastas. One was Pelusiello pasta with Porcini Mushrooms and Black Truffle. I had the Mezzi Paccheri Fish Ragù, with Datterini Tomatoes, Pine Nuts and Fennel.

Pizzas were excellent, with a generous airy crust with excellent colouring and light charring. Toppings were high quality and delicious.

The pastas were lovely. My fish ragu was rather exceptionally nice. The Ragu itself was full of a deep umami flavour from excellent stock, the fennel coming through as a lovely aromatic complement to the fish flavours. It was utterly delicious as a main.

We paired this food with a DOCG white from Cantine di Marzo that was very nicely balanced to stand against the assured savoury tastes from our plates.

All the food seemed excellent value for money, and was enjoyed in elegant but relaxed surroundings.

We had a small mix of raw seafood, a mix of grilled fish, a pizza, and a dessert. Everything was great, the seafood was fresh and tasty. The staff was friendly. The view of the sea is beautiful if you disregard the never-ending traffic.

Really good food and Umberto our waiter helped us to decide :). We were here twice. First time I had delicious pasta and the second time we shared a fish (catch of the day). Umberto prepared us the plates so we don't have to handel with the fishbones. At the end I bought some of the water glasses they have, because they were so pretty :)

The greatest eating experience I had was in Lungomare. The service was top of the line, everyone is friendly and welcoming. The chef outdid himself with every dish and the waiters perfectly described every dish and wine. I definitely recommend it if you’re visiting.

A very pleasant dinner, perhaps a little overpriced but better than many of the other beach front options. A good find, tucked round the corner from a somewhat bigger and brasher restaurant.

We had a very pleasant evening here at Lungomare. The food was delicious and very fresh, especially the fish! The interior is beautiful and the service is absolutely perfect. We felt very welcome and will definitely come back.

Great fresh seafood expertly cooked and excellent service. We went there two nights and we were both times served by the same waiter. He was very friendly and helpful. We were late at the end of the second night and they offered to drive us to the hotel as there were no taxis available.

We spent time in Naples, Pompeii and Castellammare Di Stabia and found the best food and service here. So good we went twice! We had pizza, gnocchi, pasta dishes and steak, as well as complimentary homemade bread and Il Fritto. We didn't eat the seafood but it looked wonderful. Sorbet for dessert. Everything we tried was cooked perfectly and full of flavour. The service was faultless. Polite, welcoming, and very accommodating of our poor grasp of Italian! Food arrived very quickly, and our waiters were attentive throughout the meal without being overbearing. The restaurant was beautifully decorated, clean, and, while quiet midweek, it had a really convivial atmosphere on Saturday night, and was clearly very popular with the locals. With very reasonable prices for the experience we had I'm not surprised.

Located in a central area by the seaside walk. The restaurant has clean beautiful interiors, an outside seating area and some great views of the sea and mount Vesuvius. The food is simply delicious, excellent quality and I was amazed by the freshness of the fishes and seafood. The service is also really professional with English speaking staff. The waiter was really helpful with the food choices, smiling and attentive all the time. Price is very good value for the quality of food, wines, service and location. I would personally and strongly recommend this place.

A little hidden gem. Not straight at the beach, but in one of the little streets that run towards the beach. Very very friendly people. They were almost closing, but still made all the effort to make our lunch fantastic. We had a pasta with shrimps and an amazing pizza with fresh ingredients. They served us complementary snacks (like arancini) and bread. Everything was delicious. Thank you so much for our last (and maybe best) lunch in Italy.

This was the best restaurant in the Napoli area. Great Pizza, great Pasta and amazing Tiramisu. Highly recommended

Excellent service and delicious food!! It's a perfect restaurant for a romantic diner but also relaxed for a family night out. All the dishes are well cooked and true to Italian cuisine and the desserts are amazing. The bread is made in-house and its also very tasty. Good job guys!!
