Agriturismo Ca 'Giulietta Sommacampagna Verona Italy

This was the most relaxing and refreshing stop over on a long European multi leg journey from UK to Imola. Fantastic host we were welcomed with fresh coffee. The room was excellent very high quality fittings, very comfortable bed, excellent shower.. well the breakfast has seen good for the day... superb is an under statement... rolls, jam, yoghurt, foccacia with ham, cake, and of course coffee... all fresh and lots hone made.. just trying to score it 10 out of 5... really great.

We only stayed there for one night but we wished we stayed longer. Highly recommend.

Upon arrival we were greeted by our host who immediately offered us a drink so we took him up on a hot chocolate - which was excellent. He sat us on the front verandah and provided some gluten free cookies for my wife and a home made tea cake that was good enough to be served in a cafe.

Prior to that he showed us the room and explained all the details that we needed including the wifi and password. During afternoon tea he brought out some information for things to see and provided recommendations for restaurants for dinner.

His english was good and helpful.

I will rate as many aspects as I can out of 5 to help set your expectations;

Bed - 3.5/5. Slightly firmer than a Hilton hotel bed but more give in it than a holiday Inn bed. Very supportive.
Bathroom - 4.5/5. No bath but one of the best showers all trip. Large space and good water flow
Bathroom amenities - 5/5. Not the same as a 5 star hotel but you have everything you need
Cleanliness - 5/5
Size of room - 5/5. Our biggest room so far
Luggage space - 5/5
Comfort and amenities - 5/5, lounge, table and chairs, air con etc
Peace and quiet - 5/5 Its very close to the airport and we were worried about the noise despite it being set in a rural location but to our surprise we only heard 1 plane and slept peacefully. we didn't have any neighbours so can't comment on if you can hear people in the other room or not
Food - 5/5. Breakfast isn't like a hotel. Whilst there is something of a breakfast bar available where you can select what you want, our host kept serving us food at our table....like a lot of food. I had yoghurt in muesli with a home made jam (delicious) then he brought out boiled eggs (no toast but he gave us packaged bread type products) and then local sliced meats and cheese which were very high quality. Freshly squeezed juice blend (4 or 5 different fruits) then a home made pastry. I'm sure I'm forgetting something as I was very full in the end. a lot of it is home made and so yum. Gluten free options were given to my wife.
Location 5/5. So its NOT in the city and is in a rural location - but you get that with agritourism accommodations. So to rate this place less than 5/5 doesn't make sense because the assumption is that you are preferring to be outside of the city. That said, if you're wanting a rural setting still close to stuff then this is perfect for you. Close to airport, self service laundries, restaurants, i even had to repair a tire 11 minutes away, tourist sights but all in a rural location with the dolomites (snow topped) in the background.....
Wifi - 4/5. its fast enough (i think 72Mbps)
Service - 5/5. He is a very kindly man and so happy to host.
Parking - 5/5. Parking is easy with plenty of space - no fear of scratches and scrapes
Laundry - N/A you need to use one of many self service businesses nearby - all of them add in the detergent although NOT all of them accept card

The only thing I can't rate is the agritourism part of this place. if you're looking for something like a farm stay with farming activities for the kids then I don't know if this place does that or not. Again, its a rural location close to lots of conveniences - even 8 minutes from maccas.

Large modern rooms with top quality beds next to Verona airport and very close drive to Verona. Superb breakfast including ham, cheese, fruit, fresh juice, home made marmelades. Very friendy staff. Very good tips on what to do around and where to eat local. Don't be afraid about noisy airplanes taking off. You can hardly hear them when inside the rooms. Definitely a great place and a great quality/price for people visiting Verona, Mantova and the lakes. THANK YOU !

it's really quite and about 20 minutes to Verona .. You must have a car at this area .. It's a little bit isolated.
Use google map to find it, there is NO clear sign.
I recommended for 1 - 3 nights if you plan to visit many cities around.

Quando l'attenzione per i dettaglio e la cura del cliente si incontrano allora siete stati al Ca' Giulietta. Piergiorgio, il proprietario ha una grande passione per la sua terra, per le tradizioni e per i prodotti di altissima qualità. Le camere sono arredate con mobili di pregio fatti su misura, persino i pavimenti sono di altissima fattura.La colazione consumata sotto il portico davanti ad un magnifico giardino, con eccellenti prodotti del territorio, Insomma, le aspettative sono state ampiamente superate! Un cenno particolare alla piccola, doclissima Giulia, che ci ha accompagnati nel giro della corte dell'agriturismo! P. S. Se ci fosse stata la possibilità avrei dato 10 stelle!! Posto bellissimo, il proprietario è stato gentilissimo e disponibile, ci ha offerto molto più di quello che ci aspettavamo.
Camere comode e pulite, colazione variegata e con prodotti di qualità che abbiamo consumato in maniera rilassata nel giardino della location.
Per lavoro giriamo tutta Italia e da circa 10 anni ci capita di soggiornare fuori di media un paio di volte a settimana, mi sento di dire che questo rientra tra i migliori alloggi in cui abbiamo soggiornato.
Appena avremo possibilità torneremo sicuramente!

Sono stata ospite dell'agriturismo qualche settimana fa con la mia famiglia e una famiglia di nostri amici.
La posizione è perfetta per spostarsi con facilità nei centri di maggiore interesse. L'atmosfera che si respira è tranquilla, silenziosa, ordinata. Le camere quadruple, al piano terreno, si affacciano su un loggiato che la sera o la mattina presto ti invita a fermare un attimo corpo e mente, anche soltanto per osservare il prato. Le camere sono spaziose, ben arredate, pulite e dotate di ogni comfort. Davanti ad esigenze particolari, il signor Piergiorgio, con la sua disponibilità e professionalità, esaudisce nel miglior modo ogni richiesta; sono preziosi anche i suoi consigli su itinerari da visitare e scelta di luoghi in cui mangiare.
La colazione è ricca di prodotti genuini dolci e salati.
Abbiamo passato dei giorni davvero sereni.

Sono appena rientrata da una mini vacanza a Verona con la mia famiglia e abbiamo soggiornato all'agriturismo ca' Giulietta un vero gioiello immerso nel verde della campagna di Sommacampagna. Camere curatissime anche nel più piccolo particolare, pulitissime e spaziose. Colazione ottima e super abbondante con prodotti tipici e fatti in casa, il tutto reso superbo dal proprietario Piergiorgio sempre disponibile, gentile e premuroso,si vede che ama il suo lavoro ed il suo territorio. Ci ha dato ottimi consigli. Se dovessi tornare a Verona non avrei dubbi su dove soggiornare.

Location incantevole, semplice ma curata. Estrema pulizia e confort. Il proprietario di un' attenzione ed una gentilezza indescrivibile. Colazione buonissima e salutare, con prodotti di qualità. Posizione perfetta, nella natura ma a 10 Min dal centro. Sicuramente tornerò con immensa gioia! Grazie Piergiorgio

Sono stata in questo agriturismo meraviglioso con il mio compagno , un ' esperienza indimenticabile .
La camera molto bella , curata nei minimi particolari e pulitissima.
l' accoglienza direi la migliore che io abbia mai ricevuto , Piergiorgio il titolare è un signore gentile , galante , uno dei pochi che mette una passione incredibile in quello che fa .
una colazione SUPER , dolce e salata con prodotti locali buonissimi e abbondanti .

Sono stata in questo B&B in occasione di una gara di cavallo di mia figlia, ho trovato la posizione molto comoda in quanto dista pochi chilometri dal maneggio di Sommacampagna. Le camere sono ampie, molto pulite e curate. Il proprietario, il signor Piergiorgio, estremamente cortese e disponibile, cura con particolare attenzione la colazione che è un’esperienza da provare: yogurt, frutta fresca, spremuta, focaccia fresca, salumi, pane fresco (anche di domenica) marmellata e torta fatta in casa, impossibile non saziarsi! Si vede che mette molta attenzione e cura in tutto quello che fa! Complimenti

Il posto in cui ubicata la struttura è Meraviglioso. C’è tanto verde È tanto curato e la struttura è bella è molto recente. La camera dove soggiornato era ben arredata accogliente e ristrutturata. Il bagno bello grande con una bella doccia grande. Il gestore è molto disponibile simpatico e gentile. La colazione curata nei minimi dettagli.mi sono davvero trovato bene e se mi troverò ancora nei paraggi per lavoro sicuramente tornerò a dormirci.

Abbiamo soggiornato due notti per un impegno di lavoro e la nostra permanenza è stata allietata dalla gentilezza e disponibilità di Piergiorgio, che ci ha viziati con prelibatezze locali e coccolati con piacevoli chiacchierate. Pulizia e design caratterizzano le stanze. Ottima e abbondante colazione con tanti prodotti homemade e di qualità. Sicuramente torneremo.
