Kind and helpfull staff. Everything is perfect ! Ravioli, wine, and appetiters are awesome. Local wine is soo tasty, smooth but you can feel this region's grapes' taste. Ravioli was the best I've ever eaten. It made of brocoli and its sauce makes this unforgettable! Sugar rate is properly calculated for tiramisu. It is soft like a creme brule guys ! Just come and live this pleasure, you will not regret !

Perfect final night dinner in Trento in a torch-lit alleyway after a day visiting producers in a stupendous Alpine Trentino. “Il Posto di Ste” @ilpostodisteprimi is a lovely little wine restaurant in Trento ( Trentino) Italia, serving versions of classic favorite dishes from across regions of Italy with fresh local ingredients and talent. The starter of Sicilian style (incredibly tender, chewy) bread with Sicilian olive oil, and sea salt was so delicious. The rigatoni alla gricia (my favorite pasta from Rome) was indulgent and cooked perfectly, was even more delicious accompanied with a glass of Schiava wine, made of the local indigenous grape by the same name. ( tough to decide which wine from their curated list). To end the evening- Amaro Jefferson. “E’ una meraviglia”. Despite its American, sounding name, It’s an Amaro from Calabria, Italy. I just learned about it a few days ago from an Italian wine educator colleague, then my server suggested it.

Simply delicious and unforgettable. Casual yet refined atmosphere with modern cool music. Great wine list that has anything from 6-18 euros per glass of wine. (18 for a Margaux.) Extensive and international list of bottled wine. The olive oil & bread — both delicious and some of the best olive oil ever. So too were the carbonara and tiramisu. I try tiramisu everywhere I go, and this is by far one of the best if not THE best. Carbonara was creamy with the right amount of each cheese used to make it — absolutely delicious. Perfect, attentive service. Definitely coming back. I’d rather have a delicious dinner of dishes from all regions of Italy than a so-so one of “typical” cuisine of this area. (Save that risk and less expense for lunch — although I did have a great dinner of Trentino cuisine nearby… Review to come.)

Amazing restaurant in the heart of Trento. The staff is incredibly kind and professional. The waitress even explained to us a bit about the olive oil served with bread as starters. The primi (pasta based meals) were delicious. Can't recommend enough. 5 stars!

ENG: Il Posto di Ste is a gem of a cozy little restaurant, hidden away in a narrow street in downtown Trento. Contrary to most of the restaurants in this area, it does not offer typical local dishes to attract the tourists but instead has an incredibly solid menu of Italia classic pasta dishes, with top notch ingredients and a spotless execution. It is clear at the first bite that a lot of research has been put into both selecting the ingredients and perfecting the recipes. Their carbonara is honestly one of the best I had so far in Italy, and outshines many 'famous' places I tried in Rome (which is where the dish is originally from). Their wine selection is also impressive, featuring some of the best wines from the Alps to Sicily. Make sure to stop here if you pass by Trento.

ITA: il Posto di Ste è un gioiello ben nascosto in un vocoletto nel centro di Trento. A differenza della maggior parte dei ristoranti in questa zona, non offre piatti tipici locali per attrarre i turisti, ma punta invece sui classici primi italiani, con ingredienti di prima categoria e esecuzione impeccabile. È chiaro immediatamente fin dal primo assaggio che c'è un grosso lavoro di ricerca sia nella selezione degli ingredienti che nel perfezionamento delle ricette. La loro carbonara è onestamente una delle migliori che io abbia mangiato, compreso in molti posti 'famosi' a Roma. La loro cantina è altrettanto ricercata, con alcuni dei migliori vini prodotti dalle Alpi alla Sicilia. Consiglio a tutti di fermarsi a provare il Posto di Ste, se visiterete Trento.

Highly recommend! We were able to get table for 8 last minute. Wait staff was excellent. Everyone enjoyed their meal.

It was a delicious Carbonara with the perfect texture and with a very nice touch of pepper. I love it!

We had a great experience at Il Posto Di Ste! I really wanted to eat pasta carbonara, so we ordered a pasta for starter. This sure was enough for each of us. Before getting the meal, they offered us a small amuse. Because of my allergy for nuts I couldn't eat it and the owner offered me very kindly another amuse, which tastes amazing. The bread with olive oil (also for free) was extraordinary. Luckely we could buy a bottle of the olive oil, we were so suprised by the amazing taste. Also dessert was amazing.

Overall: me and my boyfriend were very pleasently suprised by having diner here. The owner is so nice and passionate. He knows a lot about what he is selling and seems very grateful for having guests over. It was great!

Absolutly amazing. The restaurant is at a very charming location. The food was great, my boyfriend declared this pasta carbonara the best he ever had. The wine was delicious too, so on our last day today we will go search for it in Trento because we would love to take it home as a souvenir. The service was excellent, a very nice lady did everything to make us feel welcome. So did the owner, who came to talk to us about the restaurant, dishes etc. Wonderful experience, thank you so much!

Excellent and genuin food with Italian classics and a great wine list

Excellent service and amazing food. We tried four wildly different dishes: polpette, lasagnette al pesto, vitello tonnato and spaghetti alla carbonara and it was immediately obvious that all four were prepared with the best ingredients and the greatest care and skills for an outstanding result.

Are you a foodie? Give this place a visit. You won't regret it.

One of the best places in Italy, the food was amazing, everyone was extremly nice and the attention was outstanding. It has all you can imagine.

We had tartar, coniglio and gnocchi. The food was really delicious!
The cannolo was (for my taste) not sweet enough - but taste is subjective and some other may prefer it that way.

In total great value for your money with nice tables outside and a great service.
