B&B Mondello Design

Amazing experience! The B&B is very close to the beach and it's easy to get into Palermo by bus. Roberta runs the B&B, she is so charming and very welcoming and looked after us really really well! Although it felt like we got up later and later every day, we still had breakfast. She always has a large selection of sweet and savoury food, from home made cake to Omelette. Speaking of food, her restaurant recommendations are very tasty! Back to topic: We got a room upgrade and slept in the biggest room she has. The room is very well decorated and clean, also it has all you Need: from ac to heaters, a hairdryer and Even Netflix for Bad weather days (which you probably wont have in the summer). All in all a really really nice, pleasant and above all relaxing stay - I can only recommend it!

Beautiful city, beautiful place, beautiful country! I had the best time staying here. This place is so cozy and gorgeous. It is right by the beach and resides in a pretty neighborhood.

Amazing! Amazing! experience staying here. best place to stay in Mondello. Roberta is the best hostess with amazing hospitality, and the wonder delicious breakfast she provided. Left Palermo to Rome and missed this place the whole time.

B&B Mondello Design is very nice place with people that really care about comfort and happiness of their guests.
Roberta is client oriented and always care about helping them to organize tours, transfers, table in restaurant or any other attraction.

The rooms are very modern, clean and equipped with everything you need. Breakfast is served every morning on the terrace and includes many delicious things. Among them every day a different freshly baked cake and Sicilian specialties.
Every morning at breakfast you are warmly welcomed by the hostess Roberta, who makes you immediately feel at home. Roberta is an excellent hostess and takes great care of her guests. You can tell that she enjoys her job a lot and that it is very important to her that the guests feel comfortable.

This accommodation is suitable for people who want to spend beach vacations in Mondello as well as for those who want to see and experience different things in Sicily. Roberta was very helpful in planning our vacation and gave us many tips. She works with a private taxi driver who accompanied us on the tours. Her tips and recommendations made our vacation in Sicily an unforgettable one.

Great experience at BB Mondello Design, great location, very clean and beautiful rooms. The owner Roberta was amazing with recommendations for restaurants and places to see in and around Mondello. Amazing breakfast of cakes and pastries made fresh every morning by Roberta! Lovely lovely lovely place to stay!

The accommodation exceeded our expectations, it was very nice, was tidy and very clean. We felt at home. The great atmosphere was completed by the owner herself. Roberta is just amazing and great and you can see that her work is pleasing and full. Willing to help, advise or meet at any time. We will definitely be happy to return there. We highly recommend her homemade breakfast to everyone. her omelette and homemade cakes are unbeatable. Thank you Roberta for all your help and hospitality!!!!

Rooms are spacey and very clean, nicely designed, the owner is simply amazing and makes you feel like home from the first second, location is amazing - 100m from the sea and the cosy coast full of bars and restaurants…. And….you must try these amazing breakfasts that Roberta does. Roberta, thank you for the 3 amazing days. We will come again!!!!

A very special and enjoyable B&B. The location is very good, at just a few meters from the best part of Mondello beach and from some of the best locations for eating/drinking. The suites are very spacious and well designed (forniture and decoration). We are a family with two toddlers (5 and 3) and were very comfortable with the disposition of the beds, and the semi-separation between two areas of the room. The bathroom is comfortable and spacious as well, especially the shower. The owner, Roberta, is a fantastic host. She will make you feel at home with her breakfast (especially her cakes), the good tips she gives, and the nice conversations. All in all, this is a great place to stay at Mondello.

Fantastic B&B only 5 minutes from the beach. Roberta is a wonderful host, very friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble.
The breakfast was great, little changes each day to keep things interesting. Our room was large with its own balcony and a huge walk shower in the bathroom.
I can't recommend B & B Mondello Design highly enough. If we return to Mondello in the future, we'll definitely be staying again!

Everything was great! Clean room and nice outdoor space. We all enjoyed the food especially Roberts’s chocolate cake and peach cake!!
Parking was there and so close to the beach! We also enjoyed a few day trips to some great nearby sights!

The best place to stay in Mondello! 2 minutes from the beach and restaurants, calm area, good yummy breakfast with sicilian specials. Atmosphere is amazing, thanks to Roberta! Thanks to her stay feels like being home. I can say she was like a friend to us during our stay.

If you are reading this and you are like me who needs to read every review in order to make a decision on where to stay, then I hope this review finds you well and is what helps you to make that decision. I only have absolutely amazing things to say about this place and its location! To start off with our check in, you can immediately see how accommodating and helpful Roberta is. She was very communicative and was able to receive us past 10 pm. While we were quite tired from the drive, Roberta was extremely energetic and hospitable. At check in, she provided us drinks and a quick overview of what to see, do, and expect in Mondello! We had the garden room and it was so clean, spacious, and welcoming. The garden attached to our room was like a mini relaxation getaway. The B&B was equipped with everything that made us feel at home. The breakfast was fresh and delicious everyday. Roberta and her team always made the extra effort to ensure we were comfortable and that we had everything we needed to enjoy Mondello and the B&B itself. Her staff was always so friendly and willing to provide more than what was readly available. Now the location! The water/beach was only a 2 minute walk from the B&B gate. As soon as you step out and look right, you can already see the beach. Roberta’s place was the perfect location to maximize beach time and enjoy Mondello’s attractions. Roberta gave us many recommendations for food, drinks, and things to see. Everything was walking distance from B&B. If you want to go a little further into the town, the free bike rentals were also very convenient. Lastly, although there is free parking on the street, you are also able to park your car inside the private confines of the property, which we ended up doing. Overall, our Mondello experience was greatly enhanced because of this gem of a B&B we were able to call home for a few nights. It’s difficult to gauge how kind and welcoming someone is based of off just reviews, so I hope that you can use this review and go find out for yourself. We will definitely be coming back during our time here in Sicily. Thanks again Roberto for the perfect time in Mondello!!

The hotel was great. Roberta the owner took care of everything. The room was very clean and modern. The bed is very comfortable. The breakfast was very fresh and balanced. The hotel is located in 5min walking distance to the beach. We have enjoyed our stay and would like to recommend it to others.

Rooms: our room was the only room I’ve gotten any sleep in on our three week trip. Tastefully designed in modern materials, white sheets, comfortable linens and ample space for all of your luggage - coming home feels like a luxury. The room had strong AC and black our blinds for a proper rest, English tv channels and strong wifi.

The terrace: every morning Roberta and her cooking assistant creat a unique, fresh breakfast with local ingredients and will ask you if you’d like something made fresh to order as well - coffee is fantastic as well. The terrace is shaded and a lovely space to make conversation with other travellers.

The value: BB Design’s value is incredible - it can’t stay this price for long. Im thrilled I made the decision to stay in Mondello instead of Palermo - the pace, the scenery, the people - I would have regretted not staying in this wealthy beach town.

Out of all of the hotels and b&bs I’ve stayed at in my life time - this one (and Roberta) will stand out the most.

Elegant room design in this family-friendly B&B makes it a great location to enjoy the nearby beach and the perfect spot to relax and freshen up after a day in the sun. Super friendly and helpful staff takes care of every detail. The breakfast is spectacular.

Excellent B&B located 20 minutes outside of Palermo, and walking distance to the beach. The owner, Roberta, is very gracious and welcoming and very helpful in organizing outings and advising us on places to eat, etc. The B&B itself, including the rooms, is immaculate and completely rennovated. We had a very comfortable stay.
