Il Delfino Ristorante Trattoria

Before going here, I read some reviews, and I appreciate some tips like having a good appetite before going there. I absolutely recommend going here and as well don't eat anything at least 2 days before. The personnel is very kind, very efficient. They'll bring you water and wine as much as you want. Then the food will just bring you every kind of delicious food. Is everything seafood base. But I have noticed that there were few people eating meat. So you can have everything you want. You can have mineral water or sparkling water and white wine. And the restaurant is always full and I can tell you why. It is one of the best places I have ever eaten before. And it will always be full so I highly recommend booking beforehand. We have booked a couple of days before, and we have received a call just to confirm that we are attending the restaurant.

This place is outstanding, food was extremely delicious and fresh, they have a fixed menu for 33€ per person and a bottle of wine is included. It was an amazing experience.

One of the best lunches of my life. So much food and so tasty for 33 euros (including a bottle of Sicilian white wine)

Q: do you like fixed courses, no extras, no changes, simply REALLY good fish?

Okay, you found the right place. Book a table and enjoy FISH!
Only recommondation: Check in hungry, because they will bring you A LOT of really good fish. Just post 2 pics of the 3/10 courses. Delicious!

A great seafood restaurant in Sferracavallo. I loved the Antipasti, specially the mussels and the octopus salad, they were amazing. The primi were extraordinary, the spaghetti a le vongole incredible and the other pasta with fish. The service was great also, really nice people.

Super! We were served delicious fish non stop. Several antipasti, 3 primi and. 2 grilled fish.... Sorbet and coffee. Don't touch bread or you won't make it to the end!

That is something unbelievable! The dishes didn't finish, all is very tasty, and even go there hungry didn't help... We couldn't finish all. The personal is very sweet. Will return a lot of times for sure!

I have never considered myself a seafood person and at €29/person I was hesitant. However, itwas worth every cent. Delicious -- every last bite. The hot food was hot and the cold food was cold (rare in Italy)! Excellent, organized service. Generous portions (including drinks). Extensive selection. Our last lunch in Italy after living here for 4 years and I'm so glad we chose Il Delfino.

Visited Il Delfino Ristorante Trattoria as part of our Trafalgar Sicily tour. Given that there was nothing visible to eat in Palermo, we were grateful to have visited the sea side to have our dinner meal as a group in a beautifully bright lit white-blue restaurant decorated as you imagine a simple and concise beachside coastal restaurant to be. Upon entry, you would be welcomed by a unique carving of a few dolphins dancing in the water.

The appetizers of calamari, octopus salad, light lobster-tomato fish slice and the prawns were delicious.

Some of the other dishes that were nice was the clam agio olio and lobster tail, albeit incomparable to the Australian lobsters.

The mussels were unfortunately tiny.

The main snapper was humongous but the glamour of it was downplayed after the fish was sliced and redistributed by a rather bland tasting small portion that landed on my plate.

The waiters were all so friendly, efficient and skilled. They were able to carrt 10 heavy porcelain plates on a single arm each time they cleared the table. Woah!

Really enjoyed the overall atmosphere and array of food at this restaurant. Recommended for sure.

You don't order anything here. They just kept bringing one great dish after another. The wine is free, you finish a bottle and they bring another. Beautiful location on the Mediterranean Sea.

Food and service were good. However it's a lot of food for one time. But I highly recommend this restaurant.

This place is amazing if you are a fish lover. You pay a set price for lots of fish dishes, the cost also includes white wine. Booking here is essential, you can wait at the door but this place gets packed out. Many restaurants in sferrocavallo offer similar with all fish dishes for a set price but this is definetely one of the best.

I have been to Il Delfino 4 times already. It's the only restaurant I will go to in this town. Staff is very personable and helpful; service with a smile. The food is fresh, and very tasty. It's a great place to enjoy the amazing seafood Sicily has to offer. Looking forward to going back this fall!

The food was phenomenal!!! And service was top notch!!!

So, a couple things. The food was incredible. The service was amazing and the staff was extremely friendly. All I will say is when you go there, be ready to eat. We came from the US and asked out hotel staff where to go and they suggested Il Delfino. What we didn't know is it is a multiple course pre selected tasting menu ( like 15 courses) with wine included for the price which was extremely fair. By the tike we left I could barely Walk to the car from being so full. Also, as a suggestion, the attire can be anywhere from casual to business casual. We saw everything from yoga pants to khakis. Go check wm out. It's worth it.
