Casa Gallo is a hidden gem! The service was exceptional, proving that kindness truly comes full circle. The location was convenient with easy parking, and the prices were refreshingly reasonable compared to all spots we’ve been. Most importantly, the food was delicious and incredibly fresh. As genuine tourists, we highly recommend Casa Gallo for a memorable dining experience.

Absolutely amazing. In the Michelin guide for both 2022 and 2023 and I completely understand why. The food was EXTRAORDINARY, and I really mean that. We had the fried stuffed zucchini with ricotta as a starter, the crab pasta for the main (special of the day), the side of eggplant with tomato and the tiramisu for desert. Every single dish required that I close my eyes and feel all the flavours- the riccota contrast with the fried zucchini, the butter coming from the pasta, the softness of the tiramisu. Love it

I had an absolutely delightful experience at Casa Gallo. The kindness and hospitality of the staff really made me feel welcome from the moment I stepped through the door. Despite arriving close to closing time, they graciously allowed us to enjoy our lunch without any rush.

Speaking of the meal, the food was absolutely divine! We were fortunate enough to try a few of the daily specials, including the baccalà and polenta, pasta with crab, and seafood lasagna. Each dish had its own unique flavor profile and was bursting with fresh, bold flavors. The presentation was also beautiful - it was clear that the chefs had put a lot of love and care into our plates.

And let's not forget about dessert! The molten chocolate cake with vanilla gelato was the perfect end to a delicious meal. The rich chocolate filling paired perfectly with the creamy gelato, and it was clear that the dessert had been made with high-quality ingredients.

Overall, I can't recommend Casa Gallo enough. The attentive service and visible kitchen added to the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. If you're looking for a fantastic meal and a warm, welcoming experience, this is definitely the place to be!

A very fine restaurant with delicious foods. You can have fish, pasta and also beef. Seafood is regional and highly recommended. Also the service is excellent, ordering in english is no problem. Special thanks to lovely Marina, our waitress. 5 Stars!!

Great lunch and fantastic service!
Baby octopus in a intense tomato/caper/olive sugo was simple and yet refined, most importantly you could taste every ingredient! After this great start, the seafood pasta was as expected beautifully cooked and the regional wine recommendation was on point. Service was extremely nice and generous!

Very good dishes! No reason to visit other restaurants near ruins and cathedral because it is close. Most of nice places in Pompei are located in walkable distance. My husband is native Italian and also local there. We do not go again if the food is not good enough. But every single time we dined in, always good good and service. Highly recommend to all visiting Pompei and looking for real local food!

We had a lovely dinner here two weeks ago. We were ridiculously early for Italian standards but were welcomed and had a lovely chat with the waitress. The food was amazing as was the wine recommended to go with it! The only down side of the evening was that we had a train to catch and had to run out. Many thanks for the directions to the station and sorry we had to leave so suddenly.

Exceptional seafood! Everything was fresh, very flavourful and very well balanced in regards to fats. Was pleasantly impressed by service, by the impeccable cleanliness and the good homemade wine.

I'd fly back to Pompeii just for this meal. It was so delicious. We ordered the trio appetizer and, and I can't remember the name of my main course, but it was AMAZING- the parmesan was delicious, the arugula (rocket) was crisp, and the steak was cooked perfectly. The house red wine was phenomenal, and grew more aromatic with every bite of food, and with every sip.
The restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere. My dinner guests and I sat outside and people watched and ate. The waiter was super helpful and made great suggestions.

Absolutely amazed by this restaurant. Very tasty food and really fair prices. All the rewards are completely justified. Also props to the waitress for speaking so many languages 😊

Very good and fresh food. Reasonnable price. Helpful staff. They give you a detailled map of pompei site if you are going to visit it.

The mixed charcuterie and cheese plate was excellent. Very reasonably priced house wine for 7€ a bottle, a decent wine. The staff were excellent, the sweetest. We arrived late (10:30pm) and offered to take our pasta to go as by the time we were ready for the main dish, it was nearly an hour after closing time. But the staff insisted on us taking our time, telling us to just enjoy it. Pasta was very good, they plated it for two people because they knew we were sharing one pasta. I can’t recommend this place enough!! Food was so good overall. Definitely come here for a meal in Pompeii.

First time in a Michelin restaurant and what an experience, we decided to go for the six plate chef dinner course. The food seemed so simple, but the taste was so rich and complex, wow. The flavors are right in front of you, no where to hide, right in front of you to enjoy. From our table we got to see the 3 men crew create all the plates and our waitress was super friendly and so helpfull, great suggestions for our wine selection (for 2 non- wine drinkers) all without any intend to push any product, it was all to help us enjoy our experience. Great first experience, hopefully you all can also experience it if you are in Pompeii.
