Trattoria al Solito Posto

Was told to come here by locals, glad we did as the food was excellent and the staff friendly. Lots of locals were here so advisable to book as it is very busy and while here plenty of people were disappointed as it was full. It is mainly a fish restaurant but there are a few meat dishes available as well.

We followed the good reviews and we didn't regret it. Everything we tried was amazing. Friendly staff and quick service. Usually, you will need a reservation, but we were lucky to find a table for 2, without reservation. The food ingredients look and taste really fresh. You can sit outside or inside, depending on the time of the year you visit it.

The food was delicious - I took the typical local dish Couscous al pesce. Two things that I didnt like is that the waiter that served us wasn't very welcoming and that waiting time was very long, however we let it slide as the food was good in the end. Nice place overall, can recommend.

Well worth the short walk from the Old Town, this is an excellent family run restaurant. Full of locals eating lunch, always a good sign. Fish and pasta was exceptional. One antipasto, two mains, large bottle of sparkling water, quarter litre of wine and two coffees came to €31, exceptional value for the quality of the food.

Very nice restaurant. I liked their pasta. I also got some delicious fresh bread. Not expensive. Thank you so much! And I liked Trapani too. ❤

Fantastic! We found this place while staying right around the corner from it and had a great dinner one night. A ton of locals were also having dinner there so we knew it must be good. Highly recommend!

We ate lunch here in 2017 and still have wonderful memories of our delicious meals.

We had one of the best Sicilian food experiences here. We loved everything. The pasta dishes were so special. We had the pasta with ragu of red mullet and the pasta with fresh tuna. Truly blissful. We are planning already to come back!

Fantastic food, great service. My first visit to this restaurant was in September 2019. Returned to Sicily in 2022, after Covid. Been there for lunch and dinner. Happy to say Covid did not effect the quality of this restaurant!

I regret I did not take photos but all was excellent and beyond. I had pasta and it was definitely home made quality. My boyfriend had a beef stake which melted in your mouth and the mussels appetizer was also super tasty. So all said before we can only confirm!

Great family run trattoria, well cooked excellent Sicilian food and very popular with the locals. Such a nice change from the ‘plastic’ restaurants in the main tourist area. Not cheap but good value for money and so popular that you may need to book in advance or be there prompt at 20:00.

You must dine here if you are in Trapani.

The best local restaurant for a proper Italian food. Must be booked in advance, I would say the minimum per person is €35
