Oh, the sfogliatella was SO SO good! Crispy and still warm and lightly flavored! So glad we skipped the other pastry shops nearby and stopped here.

No seating though.

Only tried the sfogliatella. It was great with a very balanced mix of flavors. There was a long queue so I left and came back a bit later later and it was empty.

Exceptional pastry! Dropped by for the sfogliatella, was crispy on the outside, fluffy ricotta filling, and the perfect touch of lemon peel.

The sfogliatella is very good! It taste good and all layers seems to be connected together in a single line!

This is where sfogliatella was first sold, although it was actually invented earlier by monks. They offer the traditional "riccia" and the lessor known "frolla" versions which are both superb and authentic according to a friend of mine that has been eating them since childhood.

Our Airbnb host was kind enough to bring us some of their famous pastries (straight and curly) and they were spectacular. For 2€ a piece it's a bit more expensive than other places but it is worth it

I liked the traditional sweets that they offer it, just be careful of the thieves during the festive crises

In questa storica pasticceria è nata la sfogliatella..a parer mio la migliore di tutta Napoli!
Ho assaggiato molte sfogliatelle, ma questa rimane imbattuta! Inoltre vengono sfornate calde ogni momento della giornata.
Il personale è super disponibile e gentile, attento ai bisogni della clientela.
La consiglio vivamente.

Non capisco le recensioni negative che ho visto qui su Google Maps. Ho trovato la sfogliatella di Pintauro eccezionale. La migliore che abbia mai mangiato. 3 euro per il capolavoro della pasticceria napoletana non mi sembra un prezzo esagerato. Cosa pagate per un misero hamburger a McDonald's??

Il top di Napoli, l’inventore della sfoglia napoletana. Resta sempre il top, poco instagrammabile, infatti c’è poca gente, in ogni caso il numero uno, per i prodotti napoletani veri, che mangiano i veri napoletani

C'è scritto che è il locale che ha inventato la sfogliatella; non ho verificato ma comunque sono buone e calde, sfornate al momento.
È un locale tradizionale fortunatamente senza fronzoli o orpelli da Instagram.

Per me, qui si trova la sfogliatella per antonomasia. L'adoro...Un po cara, ma la qualità rimane senza dubbio eccellente. Una "deliziosa" tappa fissa durante le trasferte napoletane😋
