Leopoldo Cafebar

A high quality pastry shop with lots of different branches around the city of Naples.
In this branch we only tried their donut filled with vanilla cream inside, which had just the right amount of cream that was exploded out of the dough as soon as we took a bite, and it wasn't too sweet which is not obvious for vanilla cream in my opinion.

A great option if you love your sweet pastries!

A wonderful café with lots of treats, fantastic espresso and attentive service. I used the time there to create holiday memories.

The final stop of our food tour, this was gelato. Several different delicious flavors available and I opted for the crostata di fragoline. It's made from their wild strawberry tart so there were strawberries and pieces of pie crust in there, it would almost be like a cobbler for Americans. Absolutely delicious and it's only a bummer that because we were here at 12:00 noon, the place was absolutely packed with every table in use.

Friendly service and a good portion, I'd have this again for sure.

We visited this place late at night, it was nice surprice that store was open. We chose two deserts (lemon tartalette and some bun with white frosting and vanilla cream). Both was absolutely delicious.

I am writing this review with an opinion as a foreigner. Cafe bar is decorated in European style with nice AC indoor. We tried Babba cake and cafe with milk. Babba cake is a bit too much soaked wet with Rum, and cafe is strong-I guess it is just made in Napolitalian way 😎. With ice cream you cannot go wrong-it is just perfect. Prices are affordable and stuff speaks English fluently.

Amazing desserts
This gorgeous cafe with beautiful display cabinets became our favourite afternoon tea stop in Naples. We loved the deliciosa al limone, rum babas, gelati and biscotti, but thought the coffee was unremarkable. The staff were super friendly and helpful! Don't sit down if you're on a budget!!

Gorgeous canollo pistachio had 'to go'. Had discerned over the last few days that Leopoldo was best place for such things in central Naples.

Stopped in for ciociolatto calda and was not disappointed. Rich and dark and delicious.
I was short-changed 5€, maybe accidentally? Thus 3 stars for service.

I had the tiramisu and hazelnut coffee which were both lovely. It's a beautiful space.

It is a rather posh and touristy place, but quality is very good. It's more pricy. We very much enjoyed the stay trying the classical Baba with a delicious espresso. It's surely also a great place to have some cocktails

The pistachio gelato…. Incredible. Highly recommend!!!!!

Great fresh pastries. Leopoldo has shops all over the city and is known for their good quality. Try the regional pastries such as sfogliatella or baba.

The melon gelato is to die for! We came here twice for it (only 3 days in Napoli!!). I recommend it 100%! I think it’s a chain, but a SOLID chain…kinda like Coldstone in America.

I've tried "Baba with Rum" all around Napoli, and Leopoldo Cafebar surely has the best, with just the right amount of rum syrup, aromatic and balanced so it does not "bite".

I've eaten a lot of gelato in my life, probably way too much if you talk to my wife, but it's given me the ability, if you will, to judge good from mediocre. The gelato al pistachio in this particular cafe is probably the best I've ever tasted. Of all the gelatorias in Napoli, I've been back to this one the most and have never been disappointed.

Oh my God you have to the deserts here they are to die for !! We will navigate all through Napoli to get to this place order a bunch of pastries and just have an amazing time

Amazing selection of Napolitan sweets and pastries. Worth a stop for a cafe and a nuvoletta.

A little bit small area to seat but cozy place..

We had a great gelato here, recommending nocciola and limone.
