Best restaurant you'll find, with wonderful food, great service and atmosphere. The menu is a delight of high quality Tuscan / Italian classics, add to that a great choice of pizzas, and a specials board which is regularly updated, all meaning that there is something for everyone. Plenty of vegetarian options too, and they can also cater for other needs on request. Book early in order not to be disappointed as this place is super popular. Don't forget to try the lovely desserts too. Tonight we had pizza macchia, parmigiana, tagliolini, gluten-free pasta with truffle, mixed salad and the salted caramel semifreddo. Wow!

The best meal we had in Tuscany I am glad that we didn’t miss it as we told ourselves that we will definitely go back when we visit Tuscany again! A menu with great options for pasta and meat - we managed to try three pasta - the papadelle with wild boar sauce, black seafood sauce pasta and the special of the day - red shrimp spaghetti. All of them are sooooo tasty in particular the last one (I wanted to lick the plate). The florentina steak was the best we have ever had! Service was lovely - everyone was so warm and friendly even if we couldn’t speak Italian. They even gave my daughter a special surprise when they knew it was her birthday. Love love love this place! Probably a good idea to reserve a table as it is very popular and crowded even on a weekday!

I’m getting emotional making this review.
When you think of the ideal Osteria with a great atmosphere this is it. There are restaurants that are great and then there is BardoVino which exceeds every expectation when it comes to quality of food, friendly,attentive staff and pricing. It made us come back to Tuscany. Every dish we tried is made with love and carefully selected local ingredients. Try the Pizza Tricolore, the Parmigiana di melanzane con fonduta di grana and for a special occasion the sizzling T-bone steak. Or choose from their daily menu. You can’t go wrong.

We had a fantastic time at an Italian restaurant in Montescudaio with family and friends. The pastas and pizzas, and steaks were delicious, and the 1.5 kg T-bone steak shared between two people was impressive. The staff was friendly and spoke English fluently. Highly recommended!

Amazing food and wine! Everything on the menu looked great as it came out of the kitchen too. I’d probably prebook next time as we were very lucky to get a table. It’s a very popular restaurant for a reason.

FANTASTIC. PERFECTO. we went there 2 times in 3 days. The food was super delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Nice restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. Staff is very kind and speaks also English and German. They guide you through the daily menu. The food is tasty and quickly served. They offer several vegetarian dishes. Reserving a table is recommended.

Friendly service and a nice terrace. Good fresh food and tasteful house wine. Definitely a must eat when you are in the vicinity. Even a shortish drive from Cecina is worth the trip.

Very friendly service, on the road but feels really cosy and italian.
The pasta with truffle and porchini was superb, pizza with salsicia aswell, the mussels weren’t the best. Good wine list. The meat looked amazing.

Divine food and good wine! Lovely ambiente. The best Parpadelle Al Ciguale!
It was a little cold in the evening in September, if you sit on the Terrasse. Maybe some terrace heaters.

Having been here before on a previous vacation to this area we simply had to come back because not only we loved the food and (house) wine so much but also because our kids remembered the Osteria BardoVino - with kids being the strictest of critics, we knew that this was the biggest of compliments. We came back this summer and loved it.

The food and service was great! Even if the place was super busy when we came, we did not need to wait neither to get our order taken nor for the food to come shortly after.

Best restaurant in the area, we tried some others and returned 3 times to this one. The food is great, staff as well: highly recommended.

Wow! We took 1Kg fiorentina and it was perfect! Also sweets are fantastic and we close with a superb glass of passito. I'm in heaven!

We were there 2 nights in a row and the food was superb. And not that expensive.
Just have in mind you have to reserve or sheck availability. It was packed tight during off season week.
