Absolutley worth a visit. Amazing, authentic food with complete regional products. Meat, veggies, and wine are so delicious. Polite and competent family owned. Listed in the osteria guide.

Great local spot. Great value for such high quality food. Had the ragu. At 21:30, the past was still fresh! Even their house wine was amazing. We bought a bottle to take home.

As an Italian living in the Bay Area in California and taking holidays in the area, I love finding examples of superb Italian cuisine, done with love and human connection. This is the one! Truly outstanding (mostly meat) dishes, worth of a Michelin star, such as the most impressive meat ravioli I have had in a decade, an amazing wine list too at retail prices which is really rare. Brother and sister running the place do a fantastic job.

One of the best typical Tuscan restaurant in the area. The food is exquisite and ingredients are from local farmers. I highly recommend it if you visit Volterra and the surroundings.

Niveau van sterrenrestaurants. Wel reserveren dus. Voor vegetariër maken ze de meest simpele maar heerlijke lokale specialiteiten. Wij komen hier al 20 jaar en hebben steeds heerlijk gegeten en gedronken. Zoals deze fiori fritti!

Ambiente accogliente. Personale gentile e preparato. Piatti superlativi. Entree di castagnaccio, con pasta d acciughe e scaglietta di formaggio sopra, da mangiare per tutte le portate quello. Pappa al pomodoro con gelato all aglione veramente interessante. E tutto il resto buonissimo. Bella scelta nella carta dei vini. Rapporto qualità prezzo, chapeau. Ci torneremo sicuramente.

Fine cuisine italienne (et toscane) et plats d'exceptions sont au menu de ce restaurant familial. Le tout accompagné par une sélection de vins de grande qualité. Cadre agréable et accueil avec le sourire. Une très belle découverte.

Von Außen sehr unscheinbar, man kann auf den ersten Blick nicht erahnen wie toll das Ambiente von innen ist. Sehr gehobene Küche, die Teigwaren werden selbst gemacht. Das Essen ist sehr gut. Wer statt Pizza mal etwas anderes essen möchte und auf die gehobene Küche steht ist hier genau richtig. Wie gesagt man sollte sich von dem äußeren Erscheinungsbild nicht täuschen lassen

Uno dei ristoranti più storici e unici nel suo genere. Al servizio impeccabile e alla cucina che raramente si trova in ambienti stellati, qui c’è tanta professionalità del titolare e di tutto lo staff. Ampia scelta, carta dei vini ottima e rapporto qualità e prezzo ottimo. 👍👍
