What a gem! The vegetarian starter was amazing, as were the truffle pasta and the pavlova. Good portions - not too large and not too small and full of flavour. My other half confirmed his cut of beef was cooked to perfection.
Excellent service.
We would love to be around in the Summer so we could enjoy the beautiful views from the terrace - who knows? Maybe we will make it back.

Fantastic restaurant! I went here at Easter, there was a fix menu (but they were very flexible because there was a vegetarian in my group). The restaurant is in a wonderful location, in a real Tuscan environment, which can be enjoyed from the terrace. The food is of impeccable quality, the service is very friendly, fast and professional🤗. The whole place has a wonderful atmosphere💥! I recommend it to everyone who wants to eat very good quality food at a great price💯! I will definitely come back when I'm in the area! Thanks for the experience!🙏

Stunning location for a fantastic restaurant.
The food was delicious and the wine just as much so.
Service was flawless provided by Giada.
Very reasonably priced for what's on offer.
A must.

Extraordinary place, in a stunning setting among the Tuscan hills, it's like a hidden gem. The food is very elaborate, delicious and made of local ingredients! Every little bite takes you to another place of the region. From the salt of Volterra, through a fresh virgin oil, to the local Marzuolo truffles. The service is amazing - a cherry on the cake. Definitely we'll come back!

We came here by recommendation of our agriturismo’s host (Apparita) - her children Lorenza and Elia are running this restaurant. AN ABSOLUTE GEM !!
The setting is beautiful, with a view into the sunset in the soft Tuscan hills, an absolutelz delicious menu with fresh and carefully curated local choices and daily specials, plenty of vegetarian/vegan options, and brilliant wine recommendations. Above all: the service - so friendly, so welcoming (they even accepted us one hour ahead of our reservation with a full place!), amd extremely professional. Could we stay longer we would come back every night!

Amazing restaurant in a wonderful location. We could not dine outside due to bad weather, but we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

The antipasti are mind blowing. While I expected the traditional meat-based one to be excellent – as it was – I was blown away by the vegetarian platter; especially the vegetable tempura, which was simply perfect.

We got one pasta dish each – raviolo aperto, tagliolini al tartufo, and tagliatelle al ragù di Chianina. Excellent dishes.

We ordered one bottle of Morellino di Scansano – great pairing with our lunch.

Lastly, we went for a sweet treat. One tiramisu, and two bignè alle nocciole, both homemade. Finishing touch: homemade limoncello.

Great experience, fantastic location, fair price. Well done, La Dispensa!

Situated on the top of a typically Tuscan hill, surrounded by Cypresses and a view over the golden curves of the land, you'll find this slighty isolated restaurant. Therefore, even in mid july, we were the only ones. Could it get better? Yes. On top of the scenery, here we had the best food of our entire gastronomic holiday trip. And for very reasonable prices. We had a steak tartare for €13,- and a starter plate with culd cuts and cheeses for €18,-. The wine was a red blend of 14.5% for €20,- and tasted somewhat like an amarone. Their most expensive dish is a steak with mushrooms of €24,- that is exceptionally tender. 100% recommend and 1000% worth the beautiful route towards it.

Thank you for an exquisit lunch!

Delicious food in a beautiful setting. However, if you are coming for an evening meal then a starter, pasta, main and dessert is recommended as the pasta portions are small

Exceptional. We went there for dinner, we ordered probably half of the menu and everything was tasty and well presented. Good portion and all ingredients were high quality. Service was extremely kind and attentive. I’m sure this one of the best restaurants in the area.

Very tastefull, simple home tuscan food (I would especially recommend pastas and desserts, my friends had meets and as they say those also were delicious). Low prices and extremely courteous and proffesional service.
