Agriturismo Solimago

We stayed for 3 nights at Solimago and enjoyed the more than beautiful garden & pool, the area itself, the spacious appartement with a very well equipped kitchen and last but not least the kind service of the owners. We would definitely come back if we visit the area again! It's perfect to explore the busy south of lake garda while staying at a relaxing and calm home away from home! We did not try the food and the wine but would definitely do so if we stayed a bit longer.

Me and my partner stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful time at Solimago. The farm is full of history and is a very beautiful and peaceful place. We both arrived tired and a bit sick and left feeling rested and ready for the rest of our travels. The owners in our opinion were very warm and kind and clearly go to great lengths to maintain the authenticity of the farm - all renovations are made to a very high standard. The pool is beautiful too and the wine is the best we had in Italy. We also loved their ethos towards farming - would recommend booking a tour of the house and wine tasting and for sure chat to them for local food recommendations because they were all excellent

It’s a very beautiful and quite location. It is not only very stylish, but very green and full of nature. The hosts are welcoming and available for any questions. They serve vegetarian food and the breakfast only consists of local produce with strong flavour. On the estate there are also vineyards, fruit trees which provide the base for good wine and very tasty nectar and marmelade. The host also has four beautiful cats and two turtles which really brightened the day. The pool is clean, the area around it is surrounded by trees to provide with enough shadow throughout hot summer days. Solferino is also a nice village with some nice restaurants and a very good bakery, the roadtrip to the lake is only about 15-20 minutes (either Peschiera or Desenzano). Overall I strongly recommend Solimago and thank the hosts for such a nice experience.

My husband and I spent an amazing holiday in this fabulous holiday farm:: wonderful views, loving hospitality, great kindness and tact.
We were fascinated by the awesome peace and serenity of all the common areas.
The owners let us taste great biological wines produced by their canteen.
Remarkable also the light lunch served on the terrace of the inviting swimming pool.

What an amazing place. Comfortable apartments and rooms in historical buildings, surrounded by beautiful, well-established gardens. Wonderful owners and staff, all fresh and local food, great for relaxing, beautiful pool. You really risk to not want to leave this place ever again. It's heavenly. - 2 years later.... I just stayed there again and wow, it is still such an incredible place. You arrive with a heavy heart and leave peaceful and happy.

We have been there around eastern and had a great time. Its a vegetarian only accomodation, vegan breakfast is available. Yes, its not the exaggerated big breakfast buffet where half of it gets thrown away afterwards, but it was a solid foundation to start in the day and the amount was just right. There were two Options, sweet or savoury. The estates has a long history, that can be experienced by asking for a private tour, where also the old parts of the building can be visited. An absolute recommendation for people interested in history.
Everyone was nice and friendly.
The only way, i can imagine how to get into conflict with the owners or staff is, if you think this is a place where you can party all day and night, do a BBQ in the garden and throw your thrash around. If you are looking for this, solimage is not the place for you.
If youre looking for a nicely renovated room in beautiful surrounding as a base for trips around the lake garda and some relaxation, go for it.
Also the in-house wine is great, ask for a tasting!

We absolutely loved this wonderful and peaceful place. For us, it felt like a little piece of paradise. Before we booked our trip, we had read a few negative reviews online. But honestly? We couldn’t find anything negative about the place. Our beautiful and spacious apartment felt cool despite the heat wave (37°C). The pool was just perfect, especially for our two little children (4 & 6). The staff was very friendly towards us and the children. One night we had a homemade (and ‘home grown’) dinner in the ‘table d’hôte’: delicious! Our son said he had ‘the best pasta in the world’.

Special experience, a rare find! Enjoy the beauty of the estate. Eat. Sleep. Swim. Read or write(!). Exist!
Beyond the ‘everyday’ (although a place where one could imagine to write is not obvious) this place is real. You meet the family but yet it is very private and you can enjoy solitude and the quiet. Nobody talks to you when it is not needed, but they are there whenever and whatever you need. You get coffee and food and you get to know secrets with it. Everyone is getting on with his/her own life, yet coexists in this garden in harmony. You just become part of it all. We slowed down. We were enchanted. Happiness best stands in moments…

Best agriturismo ever!

Wir fahren seit 6 Jahren an diesen wunderbaren Ort. Jedes Jahr wieder erfreuen wir uns an den wunderbaren Blumen, vögeln und herrlichen Aussichten. Man darf einfach da sein, Katzen streicheln und nette Menschen treffen. Der Ort eignet sich ausgezeichnet für Ausflüge und die Umgebung und ist gleichzeitig eine einzige Ruheoase.
Es hat mir sicher entsetzt, was einige huee über die Gastgeberinnen schreiben. Ich teile nichts dergleichen. Ja die Familie lebt dort und ja, das mag teilweise für ungewöhnliche Situationen sorgen, aber genau das macht den charme des Ortes aus. Wir haben dort nur Freundlichkeit und Offenheit erfahren. Wer zugeknöpftes Personal in kutte sucht, soll woanders hinfahren. Alle Beschwerden waren so grässlich deutsch.
Italien ist wunderbar, eben genau weil im Badeanzug Marmelade gekocht wird! Wir freuen uns auf unseren nächsten Besuch!

Propriété est merveilleuse ( grand domaine plein d’arbres et de végétation avec une superbe piscine) mais sa situation est parfaite : près du lac de Garde (Sirmione), de Mantoue mais aussi dans la propriété, la tour de Solférino qui commémore la célèbre bataille et le mémorial en l’honneur de la création de la Croix Rouge).
La famille qui tient cet agritourisme offre
un service exceptionnel ! Le petit déjeuner (salé ou sucré) est délicieux. Bref, une destination parfaite à tous points de vue

Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder!
Anwesen und Ambiente sind ein Traum.
Es gibt sogar eine E-Ladesäule!

Un posto decisamente incantato, dal quale siamo tornati rigenerati e migliori! Trovato su internet dopo una lunga ricerca, ci ha fatto trascorrere uno scampolo di fine estate perfetto! La cascina è immersa nel verde, sostenibile, gli appartamenti hanno tutto, dagli utensili, all’occorrente per la piscina. Con noi c’era una persona con disabilità motorie e l’ingresso alla sua stanza è stato attrezzata con una pedana in legno, senza contare che il bagno ha la doccia a filo e il
Corrimano. Biancheria pulita e profumata, piscina ampia e confortevole (il pomeriggio ho fatto yoga in giardino con in sottofondo Grilli e cicale in totale silenzio). C’è la possibilità di consumare pranzo e colazione in piscina, pagando a parte, ma noi abbiamo preferito cucinare qualcosa e uscire la sera (nei dintorni ci sono agriturismo di gran livello). Abbiamo acquistato il loro vino che è semplicemente delizioso, i proprietari sono persone gentili e disponibili con una bella storia familiare tutta da ascoltare. Arrivederci a presto, perché torneremo appena possibile!

Alla ricerca di tranquillità e natura, siamo arrivati in questo bellissimo agriturismo.
Dietro il grande cancello di legno si apre un edificio molto antico con una storia familiare di oltre 500 anni.
Vasta coltivazione naturale di frutta e verdura, tutte di qualità biologica.
È così bello percepire la semplicità della vita qui.
Le due sorelle gestiscono tutto questo insieme alla loro famiglia con orgoglio e cuore.

Entrati a solimago si respira storia in ogni angolo, dalle dimore storiche fino all’enorme giardino dominato dalla storica torre di Solferino. Abbiamo soggiornato insieme alla nostra cagnolina, che è potuta stare con noi in ogni singolo momento durante il soggiorno, la camera era molto spaziosa e dotata di ogni comfort. Abbiamo provato sia la colazione (a base di prodotti fatti in casa molto buoni e dei succhi di loro produzione a dir poco fantastici) sia i vini di loro produzione che sono veramente ottimi.Quando soggiorni a solimago ti senti a casa grazie all’accoglienza dei proprietari che ti mettono a propio agio sin da subito e ti fanno immergere e entrare in connessione con il luogo. Ci torneremo sicuramente!

Eine wunderbare Oase für Menschen, die sich im Urlaub wie Gäste benehmen und nicht wie Touristen aufführen. Die Apartments und Zimmer bieten viel Privatsphäre und sind gut in den historischen Gebäuden auf dem Grundstück verteilt. Sie sind wunderbar eingerichtet und die Küche war perfekt ausgestattet. Der super schöne Pool in dem herrlichen Garten umgeben von alten Bäumen war das Highlight. Die Gastgeberinnen waren freundlich und haben sehr schnell auf unsere spontane Buchung und diverse Fragen reagiert.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au calme de cette superbe propriété chargée d'histoire et qui offre pourtant le confort d'une magnifique propriété, avec une piscine superbe, des transats neufs et confortables, du mobilier de jardin coloré qui s'harmonie parfaitement avec les fleurs et bosquets.
Nous avions loué une chambre et regrettions de ne pas avoir de réfrigérateur, d'autant que nous avons des intolerances alimentaires qui limitent les choix dans les restaurants. Après en avoir fait part aux hôtes, nous avons eu le droit à de délicieux petits déjeuners parfaitement adaptés et gourmands, idem pour les déjeuners et avons accès à leurs réfrigérateurs pour ne pas manquer de fraicheur. Ils sont très arrangeants, et accueillants.
Parfaitement situé, nous avons pu visiter les villages des alentours, tous plus jolis les uns que les autres et jouir des abords du lac de Garde.
Nous aurons plaisir à revenir et recommanderons cette adresse à nos proches.

Wunderschöner Ort in einem ruhigem Dörfchen. Hier kommt man hin um wirklich zu relaxen. Will man mehr unternehmen, dann fährt man 20 min. mit dem Auto nach Sirmione, Dessenzano oder weitere Städtchen in der Nähe. Ausflüge nach Verona oder Venedig sind auch gar kein Problem. Was mir sehr gefallen hat: das imposante Anwesen hat seinen eigenen, magischen Charme. Herrlich. Es war auch immer sehr ruhig und leer obwohl es 7 Appartements hat, die auch belegt waren. Unser Appartement war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Und das einzige mit Wi-Fi :) Vergewissert Euch vorher, wenn Ihr Internet-Zugang braucht. Am wunderschönen, sehr sauberen Pool gibt es ein kleines, süsses Bistro mit einem kleinen, aber wirklich sehr feinem Angebot. Ich empfehle unbedingt das selbst gemachte Gelato zu probieren. Die Besitzerin Antonella und ihre Schwester haben Geschmack und ein Auge für Details. Tatsächlich ist Antonella auf den ersten Blick eine etwas spezielle Person. Sie hat aber nun mal ihre Vorstellung von Ordnung und ist sorgfältig. Wer ein Gespür für Menschen hat, der erkennt schnell, dass sie eine herzliche Person ist. Der junge Hauswart David ist eine Art Allround-Hilfe und jederzeit hilfsbereit für alle Anliegen. Wirklich top. Wir waren mit dem Hund da. Das Anwesen ist sehr tierfreundlich. Antonellas Hund ist auch vor Ort. Wir durften einen kleinen aufblasbaren Pool aufstellen, damit unser Vierbeiner darin planschen kann. Es war natürlich sehr warm. Superpraktisch war die Waschküche. Und wunderschön die riesigen Weinreben (auch mit Feigenbäumen) hinter dem Pool. Unglaublich schön zum Spazieren. Gleich neben dran befindet sich eine Pizzeria mit guter Pizza. Wir verbrachten 12 Tage in Solimago und alle waren beigeistert. Es war eine sehr schöne Zeit an einem wunderchönem Ort. Kleiner Tipp: lasst Eure Kinder den kleinen Garten mit den Schildkröten und Wasserfall besuchen :)
