We loved it here - booked one night dinner b & b, but ended up staying on for lunch the next day we enjoyed it so much.
Service a little patchy - no hotel reception as such on arrival, but we were eventually shown to our room which was lovely - terrace overlooking the beach. The location is stunning.
Dinner was fabulous - the restaurant very busy so service was a somewhat brisk, but the food was generous in portions and beautifully cooked. Lovely homemade almond biscuits came with an espresso coffee.
Breakfast was pretty special too, and lunch was a joy with lots of families enjoying their Sunday by the sea.
Hard to understand some of the negative comments, we hope to return some day.

This is one of the top seafood restaurants on Sicily. The raw materials are nothing short of the best and the kitchen makes no mistakes preparing them. OUTSTANDING! Good wine list with plenty of local products in the assortment.

Wonderful seafood! Bugs were a bit bad the night we went, and it can be hard to find. Worth it though!

Course after course of amazing fresh fish dishes. All cooked to perfection. The pastas were also great. The place was buzzing from open to close. Don't miss this place. Clean up a bit before going. It's a nicer place and commands enough respect to wear pants, not shorts.

3rd visit. Still the champ and absolutely not sitting on their hands. Fresh seafood on the beach. After 135+ meals in Sicily, Vittorio's remains king!

Superb restaurant! Highly recommend this to anyone who wants to experience true Sicilian cuisine. Authentic dishes with just a touch of sophistication - nothing pretentious about it! We simply had to go back the following day and if we could we would have stayed there for a week. We tried just about everything on the menu. The tuna carpaccio, stewed baby octopus, Mediterranean mussel plate, raw Mazara red prawns, shrimp and pistachio pasta, clam pasta and the spaghetti vittorio are all dishes to order! Wine selection is great too. Perfect spot to indulge and have a relaxing afternoon on the beach - it is a great swimming spot too. Staff were attentive and kind and it was great to see Vittorio around at all times. Cute labradors too!

How can I put 6 stars? We knew about the restaurant through a TV show, and it completely lived up to the expectations. Amazing food, great service - already planning to comeback to Sicily and to this place

Went for fresh fish lunch in Menfi and it did not disappoint! Bring your bathing suit and hit the beach afterwards! Beautiful views, perfect place for a long late afternoon lunch!

Went there in Oct 2013. had 4 excellent meals there---spent a week at La Foresteria--it was fabulous. Da Vittorio is situated right on the beach. The family were incredibly friendly and welcoming-even tho we barged in on their family lunchtime meal.Nice bottles of wine for 10-15 euros. Fried sardine appetizer to die for. For pastas try the spagh with shrimp and pistacchios or the spagh with mullet,pine nuts and breadcrumbs. I dream of it still! Excellent mains such as simply grilled swordfish, fritto misto of shrmp and calamari, and the tuna agridolce(sweet and sour). They really made us feel at home--so much that we are returning next year!

Palermos best fish restaurant is situated in Porto Palo on the south cost one hour's drive away. Try the grilled spada roll. Not on the menue so you have to ask. Selection of wines is superb. Ask for advice for a proper local wine i.e. from Cantina Settesoli.

Our second time here. The plates are a bit on the large side so come hungry or you'll be taking some of the frito misto home.

A great base from which to explore the local area . The best dining and comfortable rooms with sea views. Some savoury items at breakfast would make it 10/10 . I give it 9/10

Superb dining! It was for a special occasion, & it shone. We received Excellent service but the food was the Star!! And meeting Vittorio was the cherry on the cake!!

Absolutely amazing seafood restaurant in Sicily. Right on the beach with beautiful fresh seafood and pasta dishes. Try the ricci (sea urchin) spaghetti!

Based on the series "Sicily Unpacked" this is by far the greatest tasting restaurant we've visited on our road trip through Sicily.

Very nice chef, grandma is sitting in front. Perfect service and fantastic wine. Very very good food.

Off the charts amazing food, setting and for 'a restaurant with rooms' they are pretty good too!
