Absolutely amazing! You will not be disappointed in the service, the food was amazing and the wine and atmosphere were fabulous. This is definitely a 5 star restaurant!

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. English was spoken. If you have intollerances be sure to raise it. They showed me a list of menu options and what they contained. Food was delicious and restaurant was clean. There was a good range of menu options. I will return during my next visit.

The food is excellent, but the best of this restaurant is the service. We with the family love sotto sopra for the amazing service, always with a smile! The waiter Igor is a passionate man who is always in for a laugh, and the girl with glasses also provides amazing service. The food shows the expertise of the high skilled cooks in the kitchen, and there is something for everyone. High variety in the menu - fish, meat, and vegetarian. You do have to make a reservation a couple days in advance, but it’s 100% definitely worth it!

Very good restaurant, good food and good service. Reservation is recommended. We would also recommend to take a starter and something sweet after the main dish. It is definitely worth it. On our next trip to Lago Maggiore we will definitely come back to visit this restaurant.

We had a fantastic dinner at Sotto Sopra! The pasta dishes were all cooked perfectly and my son and I shared a beautiful Rib steak which was sourced locally and Delicious.

Definitely worth a visit if you are travelling through Baveno or nearby.

Love this spot! Reservations are recommended. Egor is the one man show and he is supported by another lady. Great food, fresh aromas and even Ania started loving the shrimp. That's our recomandation! But you need to go and try it yourself!

We booked a table a day in advance and were very glad we did. The food here was delicious, with a very interesting and original menu. The waiters could speak English but one very kindly helped us with our Italian learning too! The staff were very passionate about the food and the local area. We loved our meal here and we loved staying in Baveno as a more relaxed atmosphere compared to some of the larger towns.

The food is fabulous and only surpassed by the staff, who were outstanding. Super friendly, funny, kind and entertaining. A really wonderful experience. Thankyou for a great night

We went with my dad and shared the “menu degustazione”. The regional white wine (Teo Costa) suggested was really good. The food and the service was amazing. A spot w/o surprises! Great staff as well. Better to make a reservation.

Great place! Who knew! Easy parking 20 meters from the entrance, cozy modern atmosphere, delicious food and an attentive and expert service. Highly recommended for a quiet and upscale meal.

Still a high class italian restaurant with great staff. In summer times it might be necessary to get a reservation, since u never have to leave for a second shift of guests.

Friendly and attentive personnel, great food, also beautifully presented. Book in advance as it is getting full easily. Definitely will visit again when in the area.
