Marostica is the little city famous with the chess board in the main square. The restaurant is real traditonal osteria, atmosphere of the place is perfect, even it has big garden which has beautiful flowers in spring. Waiters are really kind and polite. It was crowded during lunch, before go, if you can book, it could be better. There are traditional meals in the menu. We tried as antipasto "baccala mantecato", as prima "pasticcio con asiago e asparagi bianchi", as contorno "radicchio crudo con pancetta calda" and as dolce "ricotta con marmelata". All of them are delicious. Thank you for all.

This is a beautiful small traditional restaurant. The staff are super nice and accommodating. The food was spectacular! The aged cheese paired with pears was great. We tried a variety of dishes, the fillet was very good, the tripe soup was great, the goose and the roasted rabbit were spot on and delicious! We also tried the lemon sorbet with the cherry grappa, the macafame with cherries and the ricotta with the compost/ jam, everything was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to try some excellent traditional venetian food.

Had a great lunch here. They use fresh vegetables from their garden, picked no more than 1 day ago. We had the Bigoli with Cortile ragout (chicken + duck) and the Bigoli with Madonetta sauce and both were delicious.

Super place.
Very authentic (Veneto) dishes. Local ingredients and traditional dishes.
Great service, they speak English and they are very nice. They offer us to try something (baccalà alla vicentina) before ordering it since it could be pretty strong taste. And the let us try the wine in combination.
Very honest price for the quality and the service offered.
Nice location with a nice outdoor patio, in September/October still warm enough to eat outside.
Nice wine list

When you enter this inn, you feel like you are surrounded by history. To reliving the moments experienced by previous users.
You don't come here simply to eat, but to have an experience.
The owners and employees are very friendly, quick and ready to give comprehensive explanations of the menu.
Everything was to our liking, as each ingredient was professionally calibrated.
I hope to be able to return to try their other specialties.

This place feels like a secret for the wisest eaters, the ones always in the know. From the outside, you’d never know there’s a large outdoor patio in the back where you can sit beneath olive trees and eat the most astounding food! I especially loved the fresh ricotta, polpette with polenta, the pickles (winners, all!), a chicory and pancetta salad, and to top it off, prunes in prune liquor (best prunes of my life!). Afterwards, we climbed to the nearby castle, which was a nice way to digest! I called and made a reservation only a few hours before; we arrived early, and our table was set for us. A dream!

Amazing, very local with food of the Venetian region. The prices are very affordable and atmosphere is warm and welcoming. They have quite a lot of vegetarian options! (Not always the case around here). Highly recommend!

May be better booking especially at weekends.

It feels as if you were time transported in a place long time ago where people were friendly, genuine, warm, and the cooking was simply excellent. A must for anyone.

My family and I stumbled across Osteria Madonnetta by accident as we were were exploring the local area during the Fall of last year. We did not have reservations, but the waiter was kind enough to accommodate us in the patio area. We had a baby with us and the owner, without being asked, provided us with indoor seating just before our order came out. The food was amazing. Moreover, the staff were very hospitable. My family and I know only basic Italian phrases. Our waitress was very patient with us in understanding each other (the English version of the menu was a huge help). As we left the restaurant, my wife and I could not stop talking about the food quality, and we were already planning our next visit (now knowing to make a reservation). We visited again this past weekend, and it’s like the food improved overtime. Within 5 minutes of us being seated, the servers were ready to see if we needed anything. I loved it. The location is excellent, the atmosphere is incredible, and great service; this restaurant can not fail and will be a must-visit again as long as I am in Italy. I recommend the bigoli with duck sauce and the rabbit with polenta.

Lovely small restaurant in a small enchanting town. The courtyard/garden is a great place to have lunch. Food was very nice with a pleasant presentation. Quality is high and prices very reasonable. Good choice in menu for food and drinks. Staff is professional, friendly and very attentive. Overall a restaurant to absolutely visit even if you need to make a detour for it.

Real authentic Italian cuisine. Excellent service and possibly the best tiramisu in all of Italy.

I came here with my boyfriend due to the recommendation of a friend, and we could not have been more pleased. The owner took the time to explain us all the menu, and what we could eat and not (I eat fish but no meat and I’m also lactose intolerant), everything is fresh from their family’s garden, and after two main dishes, two anti pasti, dessert and wine, the bill was still under €45. Excellent experience!!!

Popped in for a quick lunch with the wife and our youngest. We had an excellent meal of radicchio lasagna, a rustic ragu, lightly fried meatballs, and a sample of desserts. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. Highly recommend making the trip.

Very nice meal, I strongly recommend this place. People were gentle enough to translate and help me to choose my diner. The food presentation is not crazy, this is not a gastronomic place, but food is fresh and tasty. The place is pleasant and decoration full of curious pieces. I am clearly not disappointed and would come back certainly.
