Il Maramaldo Bed&Breakfast-Restaurant

Most amazing dinner experience we had in Tuscany (and there were many other great ones). We felt at home with the owner; the food service, and anbiance were amazing!

We are vegan and asked in advance for some vegan options. We were so impressed with what they presented. Everything was delicious. We especially loved the potato croquettes. If you are vegan or vegetarian and in Lajatico I would start here as options are not obvious in the area. The location is completely magical and the communication was above and beyond. Highly recommended.

High Class local Italian food with Tuscany specialities. Great wine, very friendly service. A great start for our vacation!

I would leave more stars if I could! I’ve been here twice before over the last few years and it was always great, but now under new management it is really something new and no other place like it in the area. They’ve expanded with new art and exhibitions within two new external dining rooms and outdoor seating in warmer weather. The dishes were executed and presented beautifully. Tuscan cuisine but elevated to a new level. The chef and his partner were humble gracious and with great conversation and explanations and ensuring we were satisfied. Grazie infinite for one of the best dinners we’ve had!

Would 100% recommend this restaurant. Group sharing a villa nearby walked into town without a reservation. They made us at home in a private room and amazingly friendly waitress who gave us lots of menu advice. Fabulous food and service.

Lajatico is a destination. If you choose, make a reservation immediately at this small, warm, welcoming and wonderful hotel. The staff and the owner are polite. The chef prepares the menu while listening to great music and for dinner I recommend the red "Maramaldo" . Τους ευχαριστούμε για όλα.

This is a real hidden gem in Tuscany! We arrived here by accident and we're so lucky we did. The dinner was delicious (so was the wine) and very good priced, the service was outstanding. We came here with our 3y old girl and 9 month old baby, and the hosts were so incredibly sweet to them, all in a familiar way and not pushy at all. Thank you!!

What a lovely little place off the beaten path. We stopped in for dinner before our concert. Not big on the dinnerware but the food is unbelievable coupled with decent prices. 3 of us full with food and coffees totaled less that $40 euros. Very decent. I would go there again of I am in the area.

We came here with 30 people, the staff was very friendly and the food was great. They were flexible and our food came fast. The drinks were really good.

Lovely restaurant with the possibility to dine outside if the weather permits. We sat on the small piazette in front which was superromantic, one of the nicest seats we ever had. The staff is very attentive and thoughtful, highly recommended!

Outstanding b&b in this beautiful little Tuscan village. The modern rooms, superb food and excellent service made this stop a highlight on our tour of Tuscany. Highly recommended.

Don't let the bed and breakfast tag fool you! This was the best food we got in a whole week in Tuscany and the surrounding absolutely wonderful!
