A must visit in Rome for any Pittsburgh natives. Lots of fun Steelers & Pittsburgh decor. The owner is great. Don’t forget to buy an Italian terrible towel when you’re there!

Great bar with really good drinks and service! Definitely recommend! There’s indoor and outdoor sitting as well if you like watching the people passing by.

Great little bar- lots of character and the beers are great. Friendly atmosphere. If you like hockey this is the place. If you don’t like hockey it’s still the place. Sit at the bar and chat to the owner Giovanni if you can. He’s a great host. Enjoy.

By far my favorite bar in Rome! Sonya the bartender made the whole experience much more enjoyable. If you’re in Rome you have to come here esp if you’re wanting to connect with fellow travelers!

This is a must stop in Roma, Extra especially if you happen to be from Western Pennsylvania... What a incredible addition to our Rome vacation. We were made to feel like we were walking into any local establishment back in Pittsburgh PA.
Met by the incredibly personable owner Giovanni as we entered, who somehow sensed We were Pittsburghers. Although originally from Canada he has a great deal of connections and mutual friends in and around the Mount Lebanon area of Pittsburgh... Enjoyed every minute of his company and the incredibly welcoming Tavern. It is perfectly situated in an amazing area of Rome. Stayed much longer than we were expecting and we'll be back on our next trip. Thank you for the hospitality Giovanni.

Proper pub, not restaurant. Good service beer is excellent. Free peanuts. Football (soccer) on the TV. Bar staff friendly and efficient. Definitely recommended if you just want a beer etc.

I chose that place because of the reviews on Google Maps, and it was definitely the best option. When it's 35+ degrees outside, it feels like an oasis with cold cocktails, friendly staff, and an amazing history. I tried 5 cocktails (each costing 8 euros) and each one was good. It's definitely not a tourist trap. I highly recommend that place to take a break from the crowded places in Rome.

Having been born and raised in Pittsburgh you can imagine how excited I was to spend time with Giovanni. I got an awesome Terrible Towel and cool shirt. He also has the best assortment of liquors and spirits that I've found yet in Italy.

Great bar. Giovanni is incredibly easy to talk to and is legitimately one of the best bartenders I’ve been served by. Having had an amazing time with Italian style restaurants and bars, this was a very nice reminder of American styled bars.

Great vibe in this bar that is stocked to the brim full of different spirits and beers. Loved the atmosphere, great service, and sports on TV.

Don't be fooled by La Botticella's proximity to Piazza Navona. This is a wonderful bar for both locals and visitors alike. I actually worked here when I lived in Rome in college, and can tell you it always has a friendly, neighborhood vibe. Giovanni has expanded his selection of craft beers in the past few years and you will not be disappointed by his offerings. He has about 8 beers on tap and a very large cans selection. We were able to try a number of Roman craft beers and Giovanni is one of the nicest people you'll meet in Rome. Def make time to visit this great bar.

Amazing atmosphere, such friendly staff and customers alike, me and my girlfriend had never felt more welcome from day one of coming to Rome! Even making effort to speak and learn Welsh with us! 100% will be returning here next trip and encourage everyone to visit!

I love this bar, it’s such a taste of home for me! Sports on the big screen, lots of craft beer and a stocked bar. They have power banks to charge your cell phone and peanuts to snack on. I promise you will not find friendlier service in Roma.

La Botticella is a real Irish pub, with a great variety of beers, wines, and other drinks. Nice place with cool decoration and atmosphere. Giovanni is kind and polite. Definitely recommended place for a good beer

Being a Pittsburgh native, of course I had to check out the steelers bar in Rome! And of course I have to rate it 5 stars. Great spot to relax and have a beer or an apperol. Lots of outdoor seating. Great service.

Unassuming sports bar near Piazza Navona. There's a great variety of drinks, from beers to cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks. There's no food but you will get a bowl of peanuts to go with your drink.

This is also one of the only places in Rome that sells draught trappist beer (Tre Fontane), which I definitely recommend.

Because this is ultimately a sports bar, you can rest assured that they're streaming all major games, from football, basketball, hockey, and american football. Can't go wrong with choosing this place at any time of the day.
