So we came in the morning, while Italy still sleeps ;-) Didn't have to wait in line. It is placed on top of the hill, just like some lookout.
We didn't get any audio material, probably in Italian wouldn't do us any good. There are mostly texts inside.
I wouldn't say this is for everyone. Sights from the top are splendid, but that's about it. If you're from abroad and doesn't speak Italian... well, the second language is English and toilets have universal description :-)

This is my second visit in four years to the restaurant and it is wonderful. Not expensive but very delicious

I loved Montefiascone in general with Rocci dei Pappi pan especial highlight. As well as fantastic views down the full length of Largo del Bolsena, Europe's largest volcanic lake, there is great views of the cathedral, Italy's third largest. But for me the real highlight is the fabulously peaceful San Marie del Neve church which apparently dates back to 12c but was restored in 16c when rediscovered full of snow ... hence the name.
