Bar Galatea di Lo Monaco Giuseppe

I visited Bar Galatea in Mondello for three mornings and had a great experience. The service was quick, especially for coffee. I always ordered espresso, and it was fantastic - strong but not bitter. They also offer a nice variety of savory and sweet options. If you're looking for a quick morning bite, I highly recommend this place.

Excellent ice creams and sorbets from local produces at very reasonable price. We have been almost every day and also got delicious ice cream cakes . And always greeted by super friendly owners and staff and all for very reasonable prices

This gem in Mondello is away from the main strip but so worth the walk. All the gelatos are made fresh from father to son experience. The flavours of the gelato are spectacular. The owners are such warm and special people. The salt of the earth! They have beautiful pastries but I did not try them. Everything looks like they are made with fine ingredients and a lot of passion and love. Grazie Rosanna!!!

The owners are really nice, we went there everyday and it’s always open 5:30 - 22:30.

We had our best breakfasts here. All the products are tasty and fresh. The desserts are delicious! And the service very attentive and kind. They speak English.

Amazing gelato, tasty desserts and the mini pizzas were great too. Super cheap. The staff were so friendly and kind, and a few of them spoke English.

Really good coffee & cannoli, even drinks (Aperol or Limoncello Spritz). The only minus is the inside, especially the bathroom needs renovation.

Our favourite spot in Mondello! Very tasty Sicilian breakfast, breads, cakes, coffee, ice cream and spremuta . On a corner of a small but busy road with the benefit of watching the spectacular skills of the drivers avoid each other. And the friendly waiter is an added bonus!

Had such heavenly cannolos! The owners were so sweet and we had such an amazing experience. Please stop here if you want gelato or any other kind of Sicilian dessert! They also speak English and we had no problems communicating.

The crew shows hospitality with heart and humour. The food is impeccably delicious, the atmosphere is cozy. The streetlife in front is lively and entertaining. We love it!!!❤❤❤💯

This coffee bar absolutely wonderful and we had our breakfast here, every single day. For ten days in a row! We love the owner, his wife and his hardworking daughters! We will miss our chit-chats with Andrea and Alberto! I will be back for sure!

Best gelato in Mondello. Zuppa Inglese gelato in a brioche bun is to die for. Great service, everyone is kind and I always feel welcome here. I’ll come back as soon as I can.

Went here for pastries EVERY morning for a week when me and my girlfriend visited Mondello for her birthday. Friendly staff, not much English spoken but the usual pointing and smiling did the trick. Also serves coffee which smelled great!
