Super nice spot ! You can walk 40/50 minutes in the natural reserve ! The nature is beautiful
You can also swim in several spots
You have to pay 1€ per person to enter the park

Absolutely stunning!! About a 30 min walk from Mondello beach and a €1 entrance fee if you're walking, i think €2 if you are on a moped. The hike is very easy although there are some rocky areas, but you can avoid them mostly if you have mobility issues. Gorgeous views of the sea and cliffs and if you make it to the very end its a beautiful spot to watch the sunset 10/10 recommend

Fairly challenging hike but the views are worth the effort!

Worth the €1 per person to enter the preserve. Cash only. Costs more if you enter with a scooter or car. A less hectic and more serene experience than Mondello Beach which we felt was too busy (filled with kids and teenagers).

There is a place for parking which is 6 euros per car. There is a gorgeous trail you can hike or you can decide to go to the beach right across from parking. Recommendations: bring water shoes and lots of water. We visited in July and it is hot!

Amazing wild rocky piece of cost. Unforgettable. Go!
Not easy just to sunbathing, but amazing to enjoy the water. A 20ish min walk through the natural reserve will get you to an easy access area with a very visible man-made slope made for boats and no longer in use but for bathing

Beautiful seaside! Great for hiking and a swim between the rocks. I recommend having a water shoes with anty slippery soles if you want to get into water from the rocks. There seems to be a kayak rental here. It is quite hard to get there by the bus form Palermo.

A real hidden gem. Such memorable place that I'll never forget. Only 1 EUR to enter the reserve for a pedestrian. The number of visitors was minimal. I think I've encountered maybe only about 5 visitors during my two hour walk. The views are breathtaking. Beautiful smell in the air. A lot of little lizards to watch as well as birds. One of the most beautiful walks I've taken in my life.

One of the most beautiful places close to Palermo. The water is beautiful, crystal clear. The entire place just has something special in the air. You can walk for about 30-40 minutes with mountains on your right and the sea on your left. Not sure how many places will allow you to do that. Stunning.

WOW! A must visit when going to Mondello beach. I loved it. I walked from Palermo city center to Mondello beach (11 km) and then did this hike after. Amazing full day experience. Great views and not crowded. Do it!

Nice place. People at the entrance are very friendly as everywhere around Palermo. Nice place to spend a beach day!

Beautiful spot if you like rocky beaches. This spot is not for children (only the parts towards the end of the reserve after the light house) because its can be quite hazardous for children. You can put your umbrella no problem between the rocks !

Old breakwaters forms a sort of swimming area still open to the sea but stops the waves breaking directly onto the shore to make it safer to swim but care still needs to be taken on the backwater.

A very beautiful place, especially if you would like to avoid the crowd around Mondello Beach. You do need to get across of a couple of rocks in order to reach the sea. Locals are usually very well-equipped (rubber shoes, diving glasses, and sometimes swim fins). The water’s particularly clear and there are many little fishes moving around which is quite pleasant.
Entrance fee: 1 euro per person
Bus from Palermo Centrale: 101 to Via liberta piazza then change to 806, ride 806 until the terminus. Continue walking for about 5 minutes afterwards.
For bus tickets: there is a ticket office on the left side of the Palermo Centrale train station. Buses are free for children.
One last thing, the “trek” in the reserve is nothing more than a 15 minutes’ walk(with a stunning view, of course).
