San Giacomo Relais

Very nice place!
Quiet location, away from the center. It,s a bit difficult to get up to the hotel, but the view from the window was beautiful.
Service was very helpful :) The room was cleaned every day, the food was tasty, but the menu was a bit small.
Friendly place, I recommend it for rest :)

we stayed at the B&B at the end of April. Clean, comfortable stay. Great room with sea view. Very helpful staff. One drawback: at the time the route to the Inn was closed so we had to take the outside steps. We loved the place.

My wife and I stayed here during the first leg of our trip to Amalfi. The villa itself is tiny and quiet, high up on the mountain in Furore. The location is not easy to get to, but the views from the terrace are second to none. Umberto and Enza were incredibly friendly and catered to us for whatever we needed. All of the food is made to order. They even have a pizza oven right on site for freshly made-to-order pizza. The room was spotless, and the air conditioner kept us nice and cool during the extreme heat. The one warning I would give to anyone considering staying is that very few taxis come to the area since it is so deep in the mountains. Taxis in the area are very expensive. We paid 80 euros to go down to Amalfi and 100 euros to come back to the villa from Amalfi, which is only around 6 miles away, but because there is only one road in and out, the traffic can be bumper to bumper depending on the time of day. Overall, if you're willing to pay the expensive taxi costs and brave the steep staircases of Furore, I still recommend San Giacomo Relais.

Wir hatten einen wirklichen schönen Aufenthalt im San Giacomo Relais und man sollte sich von der Auffahrt und dem ersten Eindruck nicht abschrecken lassen. Das Hotel wurde mit einer unglaublichen Liebe zum Detail renoviert und man wohnt mit einem wirklich herrlichen Ausblick! Wir konnten mit beiden Anwesenden Eigentümern Englisch sprechen. Man kann vor Ort auch Wein aus der Region, andere Getränke und Snacks kaufen. Das Frühstück ist ein italienisches Frühstück, aber es ließ für uns keine Wünsche offen. Es gab Kaffee, Wasser und Saft, Brötchen, Schinken und Käse und diverse süße Lebensmittel. Man kommt vom Hotel mit dem Bus direkt nach Amalfi, sodass man das Auto einfach geparkt lassen kann. Wir haben den Parkplatz vom Hotel genutzt, es gibt jedoch nur einen. An der Straße ist es aber ebenfalls möglich zu parken.

Posto strategico per muoversi sia in auto che coi mezzi in Costiera Amalfitana.
Le camere sono nuove e arredate con gusto, qualità e dettagli curati.
Enza ci ha aiutato per qualsiasi cosa al telefono fin dall'inizio, ancora prima di arrivare, con una disponibilità incredibile, sempre con il sorriso. Il figlio Umberto, che gestisce direttamente il B&B, altrettanto super disponibile e gentilissimo. Il tutto condito da un'atmosfera familiare che ti fa sentire da subito ben accolto.
Colazione nostrana, completa, con prodotti sia di loro produzione sia della pasticceria di famiglia.
Possibilità di cenare presso la struttura. C'è un menù con il quale si può informare in anticipo il B&B per i piatti che si vuole mangiare. Questo significa che molti dei prodotti che ti verranno cucinati Enza li va ad acquistare il giorno stesso, più freschi di così! Inoltre a conferma della loro estrema disponibilità, per noi che eravamo vegetariani, avvisando in anticipo, ci siamo accordati su dei piatti opzionali.. pasta fresca con sugo di melanzane del loro orto, caprese con pomodori del loro orto e mozzarella di bufala di Agerola (LA CAPRESE PIÙ BUONA DELLA MIA VITA 😋) ..che dire ..ci torneremo sicuramente!! Posto assolutamente consigliatissimo.

Excellent séjour ! L’hôtel est propre, la piscine est agréable, la vue sur la mer est incroyable. De plus, Umberto est très sympathique et à l’écoute. Le petit déjeuné est très bon et agréable avec cette vue imprenable sur la mer. Umberto cuisine très bien et les dîners sont délicieux. Nous recommandons malgré l’accès qui peut paraître long depuis la côte (il faut compter une quinzaine de minutes de montée ! aucun soucis avec notre scooter mais il faut être à l’aise car il y a de nombreuses épingles)

Unser Zimmer war sehr schön mit Blick auf das Meer. Sehr freundliches Personal! Wir waren begeistert von der Ruhe! Wir sind nach einem langen Wandertag von der Küste aus zu Fuß nach oben zum Hotel gelaufen, was absolut nicht zu empfehlen ist! Die Busse kommen etwas schlecht zum Hotel nur alle 2 Stunden, also muss man den Tag gut voraus planen!! Bustickets kann man auch nur in Shops kaufen und selten im Bus!! Aber sehr günstig 1,30€ pro Bus.

Il posto è qualcosa di magnifico.le camere 10/10. Per quanto guarda la pulizia e la bellezza. Il panorama è inutile descriverlo perché è incredibile. Ottima cordialità, unica pecca è che non è adatto a persone con difficoltà motorie. Cordialità e tutto il resto 10/10

Con mi esposo, nos alojamos en San Giacomo Relais y realmente, nos encanto! Ambos veniamos de estar un poco estresados por el viaje y habernos quedado en San Giacomo Relais nos ayudo a relajarnos y sentirnos como en casa.
El desayuno y la cena fue muy delicioso y abundante. La habitacion estaba impecable de limpio y muy bien decorado.
Claramente, volveria a visitarlos!

Struttura piccola ma fornita di ogni confort....tra cielo e mare...silenziosa ...ottimo servizio... Umberto sempre disponibile e gentile...bella la stanza dotata di aria condizionata...esternamente una bella terrazza...piscina piccola ma essenziale..poggiata su un praticello di erba con lettini..consigliatossima..pulizia top

Et lille fantastisk sted, hvis man trodser angsten for at køre i bus i bjerge, og ikke bange for de mange trapper, hvis man skal rundt i området (og fx mod Agerola og vandre derfra). Kan du få værelset med altan mod havet, så tag det. Storslået udsigt, fin morgenmad, venlige værter. Alt er meget rent, hyggeligt og nyrenoveret.

Posto meraviglioso con tutti i confort, il bus nelle vicinanze per visitare la Costiera e soprattutto personale pronto a soddisfare ogni richiesta del cliente 😍
