A well deserved three star restaurant. A husband and wife team dedicated to do the best. We are impressed by the comprehensive wine list and also by the sommelier, who is knowledgeable and very friendly. We look forward to revisiting

Definitely an extraordinary experience. Lots of surprises during the course of the meal with unexpected flavors that take you to wonderful mountain places with all your senses. The whole cuisine is sustainable with no products wasted or left unused. I loved it and definitely will go back!

What an experience! The cuisine is really unique as the chef really personalises the regional dishes with his vision and creativity. Everything is special. The personnel is super friendly and professional. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. Really one of the best "mountain" restaurant I tried.

Wonderful gourmet experience in the beautiful Dolomiti Mountain with world class service, chef Norbert's sustainable development is not just words, using all the ingredients from this area, recyclable materials through out the facility, they have created a place like no others.
The menu is changing all the time, this time tried the summer version, some classic dishes from the past, love the fish tartar, the deep umami taste just leave a strong stamp in my brain, also the mountain butter is so magnetic, I just want to keep on enjoying it with the fresh crispy bread. Everything on the menu is well executed.
The service team is outstanding, my friend's glass was a bit dirty from the sauce of one dish, one guy noticed and changed immediately without her even asking. And other small details make guests feel really special.

Very good wine selection, live the whites from this area, one of the best in the world.
Overall, fantastic experience and I feel so lucky and grateful to be here.

Wonderful place, amazing food and very nice, friendly and knowledgeable staff. We had a wonderful time. Highly recommend.
Now for a more detail review. Restaurant was solid booked (and for the right reasons) the week we were visiting when I tried to make a reservation months in advance. I asked them if they have any cancellations I would like to take it. Last minute they got one and I hoped right on it. Restaurant decor is nice and cozy and we had the great surprise to be offered the chef's table. This is set in a private room with a half wall of glass from where you can see how all the dishes take life, how much goes into each dish. We were traveling with 2 kids and they made sure that the kids had the kind of food kids like, but in a hard to match presentation. Food was exquisite. Locally sourced, innovative combinations, exceptional presentation and simply delicious. We had live bread, rising on our table for the delight of the kids, freshly made icecream churned in front of us, for even more delight of the kids, cotton candy served in the most ingenious way. The menu was designed with the local flavors in mind and I could taste the mountains flavors. The freshness and the beauty of the place was reflected in all the dishes. A life time experience that should not be missed.

Amazing dining experience - we were bowled over from dish to dish by the creativity and ingenuity, the way our jaded palates could still be excited, and by the warm hospitality in between every moment. Can’t wait to be back; we’ll be thinking of this place for a while.

After a somewhat lackluster stay at Rosa Alpina hotel, I was trying hard not to weight any of my displeasures on the restaurant which had been almost my solely reason for booking a four day stay at the hotel.
For full disclosure, I am a former restaurateur and former spouse of a starred Chef myself so I know what goes on in front and back of the house in both luxury hotels and fine restaurants. So my standards are high but also very defined. But let’s cut to the chase, shall we…
Chef Norbert delivers as promised: he brings the mountains to the table in true honesty and then more. He plays with appearances and colors to make things appear what they can be and suggest what they are not; or is it the opposite? Is it a potato or is it a boulder; neither. It doesn’t matter in the end because it’s presentation is only matched by its intriguing and delicious taste.
Very well balanced flavors; nothing incongruent or attempts at buffoonery when a dish tastes terrible but then they tell you it’s the “Chef’s signature flavor”. I am a cliche myself as I prefer to be wowed by simple things and to me was the floral salad. What an incredible dish! I am so fascinated by it that I can’t wait to go back and eat it again. I will pay for the darned whole tasting just to eat THIS! What a beautiful, delicious and intriguing plate that was!
A wine list focused on local produce and some special vintages but also some crowd pleasers.
It is not for everyone for sure. But stars and reputation cost a lot of money. Happy to report that quality and creativity are absolutely worth it. Congrats to the Chef and the wonderful waitstaff (especially our charming Sardinian server).

It is a 3-star Michelin restaurant. So probably in a way it deserves on the other hand I gave 5 Stars because it really deserves them. The environment is at the same time friendly and very elegant service is very careful any single person you get in contact with will drive you through the experience. The kitchen and are and the chef are just amazing, the perfect delicious food factory. You can choose from two different menu both of them are amazing. The wine list will not disappoint you. It's a wow

A very special meal for the last night of our Dolomites holiday. Everything was just splendid. The waiters were attentive, but not overly so. The atmosphere was warm and not stifling. And the food was exceptional. We'd definitely return!

Everything you can expect form a three starred Michelin restaurant in Italy and more. The food was extraordinary, the cuisine (self defined by the chef Norbert Niederkofler a mountain cuisine) is yet international and local at the same time. Some food tricks provide flavours that are not to be found on the dolomites (the taste of tomatoes, as an example, is replicated through the clever use of fermented mountain plums). Super recommended. The wine tasting option is an interesting journey throughout the tasting menu yet might end up to be overwhelming yet interesting (multiple dishes came with two different wine glasses). Overall strongly recommended, a must-go location for gourmands

Loved dining in the Italian mountains 🌟🌟🌟

CookTheMountain - Philosophy of Chef Norbert who works with over 30 producers and suppliers in Südtirol to create a brilliant tasting menu with some truly amazing dishes!

The front of house team works almost like a ballet, in perfect harmony led by Lukas Gerges - Who also chooses the beautiful pairings!

We had the tasting menu without wine pairing. The food was very very good indeed and the service was impeccable. The gnocchi with horseradish filling were to die for. Can really recommend. Not cheap but definitely worth it.
