La Casa Del Melograno

Just left our 6 night stay at Casa Del Melograno and have nothing but amazing things to say. From the view, location, and value, everything was amazing. Arriving on the Amalfi coast for a first time guest, it be very overwhelming but the owner, Humberto, helped us with everything! Gave us recommendations for dinner, helped booked excursions, and provided the best ways to get to and from where we needed. Even helped us with laundry and picked us up when the busses stopped there route for the day. I also recommend you ask him for homemade lemon marmalade when you have breakfast, it’s unreal!! My wife and I came here on honeymoon and this was the most magical place we have ever been too and Humberto helped make it a great experience. Will be back one day for sure!!

Mr. Umberto instantly welcomed us to his humble home/ B&B after a long travel from the US. We traveled for over 15 hours door door to arrive at La Casa Del Melograno.
We arrived at around 9:30am local time.
He explained the room was not ready because it was occupied, and the check-in was at 4 pm. At this point, my family and I were exhausted and were willing to wait on his beautiful patio until it was ready. He worked quickly with his 2 very well-behaved children to help us out and get the room ready so we could sleep.
The next morning, we woke up, and Umberto was already working in the kitchen to make the Coronettas and lemon bread for breakfast. This is a traditional Italian breakfast. He also makes an amazing homemade marmalade, a few different ones as well.
He helped us on many occasions to help order dinner, get a ride to a neighboring town, or help us navigate to the local bus stop.
Bear in mind the town of Furore doesn't have a lot of attractions, so visiting close towns like Amalfi, Positano, or Sorrento require a car service, local Sita bus or renting a car. The roads are narrow and winding and best left to experienced drivers.
We had a great experience staying with Umberto, who is a very pleasant man. Rude only comes from people who exude similar traits. He's very straightforward and kind. I would highly recommend this place if you like a peaceful getaway from the busy city experience. It's truly one of a kind.

Just got back from our first Amalfi Coast holiday and could not have asked for a better host or a better location - only about 45 minutes on a scooter from Positano and 30 from Amalfi. Umberto was always willing to spend time with us and recommend destinations to see, advice on parking in Positano and Amalfi, introductions to restaurants, Vespa Scooter hire and help smooth out the little bumps that come up from time to time in a new destination. Highly recommend this lovely hotel/B&B for first time visitors to the region.

AMAZING B&B
Great views, a great host (Umberto), and a typical Italian breakfast, coupled with the central location between Amalfi and Positano make for a great stay for you and your family. Umberto knows a lot about the area and can set you up on excursions. A great host family and nice clean rooms are sure to make your stay worthwhile.

Absolutely amazing B & B, old building nicely renovated. Definitely the best part to enjoy the evenings and breakfast was the terrace which offers wonderful views to the sea and nearby Praiano. All though Furore might not be the most central town of Amalfi coast, it’s definitely more authentic since there are not so much tourists and even in high season you can enjoy a peaceful holidays up in the mountains of Amalfi Coast. Umberto and his team are very helpful giving you advice about the best beaches or if you need anything around in the B&B. It was so great to spend my holidays in Casa del Melograno and Furore!

We’re currently staying at this wonderful establishment, situated in a nice high mountain top overlooking the sea and a town nearby, the views are absolutely gorgeous and are truly what the amalfi coast is all about, the hotel itself is nice and orderly and it feels like everywhere you look there is a piece of art even in the smallest detail such as the light switch is covered in beautiful ceramic, the owner Umberto has been very welcoming and helpful, he even took us to his kitchen and showed us how he prepared the lemon cake and cave us a slice after.

Great location, in between Amalfi and Positano.
Host was excellent and was intuitive about the area.
Would recommend getting a car to travel around

Stati lì periodo di Covid, nonostante le distanze dovute alle regole covid, siamo stati accolti in maniera calorosa e’ stata una vacanza perfetta.

Umberto ci ha accolti con grande disponibilità, personalità.
La struttura è il top, con una vista paradisiaca.
Consiglio per chi vuole godersi un po’ di serenità e relax.

La struttura offre una vista stupenda, le camere sono confortevoli e pulite.
La colazione è semplice ma servita con cordialità e attenzione, piacevole la sorpresa delle sfogliatelle fatte in casa gustate il giorno della nostra partenza.

La Casa del Melograno ha davvero sorpreso le mie aspettative...
Umberto e sua moglie, titolari della struttura, sono persone squisite e che ci hanno fatto sentire a casa.
Le camere sono molto pulite e con viste mozzafiato sul famoso "fiordo di furore" (io consiglio di soggiornare nella camera "la Tabaccheria', molti spaziosa e soprattutto molto discreta , con una vista mare dal terrazzino privato, davvero spettacolare).

Un'altra cosa che consiglio a tutti, davvero...
lasciatevi "consigliare" da Umberto, dove andare, cosa visitare, dove noleggiare qualsiasi cosa, dove mangiare... altrimenti il rischio è quello di rimanere "molto delusi" sia dai servizi sia dai costi che vi offriranno altri, in giro per la Costiera Amalfitana...
Lui conosce le persone giuste, molto professionali.e con un rapporto qualità/prezzo/servizio, davvero ottimo.

È quello che accade a La Casa del Melograno dove arrivi, rimani incantato da questa meravigliosa ed antica masseria e vorresti rimanere per sempre seduto sul suo terrazzo a mirare e sognare.
Struttura impeccabile sotto tutti i punti di vista, gestita in modo appassionante da Umberto, sempre disponibile a dispensare precisi ed utili consigli proponendo itinerari sempre molto belli e deliziosi ristoranti oltre che preparare delle ottime colazioni fatte in casa: dolci, cornetti, sfogliatelle e marmellate.

Umberto è stato eccezionale, di una accoglienza unica e una generosità spropositata. La location è molto caratteristica e la sala con il pianoforte è una vera chicca: sentire suonare Umberto e suo figlio mi ha davvero emozionato!

Also Freunde. Das Haus ist einmalig. Umberto ist so ein guter Gastgeber. Hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar. Wer was schönes und ruhiges will ist in casa del melograno genau richtig. cosa dire..2 notti in questa meravigliosa struttura con la mia famiglia, in cui la modernità unita al gusto dell'arredo stilizzato "costiera" ne fanno un connubio unico..terrazza insuperabile, i miei figli a giorni di distanza ancora ne parlano..in linea d'area vicinissima al fiordo di Furore, sentiero da fare assolutamente almeno in discesa (mia figlia ha 8 anni). Ospitalità e simpatia genuina e diretta del proprietario, Umberto..colazione buonissima fatta in casa..torneremo sicuramente..grazie, a presto

Umberto è un padrone di casa attento e sempre pronto a soddisfare le richieste dei propri clienti.
La struttura è pulita e ben tenuta, i letti comodi e le colazioni genuine.
Splendide le terrazze da cui si respira tutta l’essenza del mare della costiera.
Sicuramente torneremo! 🥰
