Ristorante @ Hotel Paguro

We stayed here two nights during the slow season and were so impressed by how nice the staff was and how clean the room was! The cleaning staff was very kind and very quick! The views of the sea are amazing as well. This is a cute, family owned place that we would definitely love to go back to!

Merveilleux déjeuner en bord de mer. Seuls au monde avec du très frais et bon poisson. Les desserts glacés à la pistache sont excellents avec cette chaleur. Un service irréprochable :)

Innanzi tutto complimenti per la accoglienza ed il servizio: é rarissimo trovare un ristorante in cui i camerieri usano il tovagliolo per non toccare piatti e posate. Puliti i bagni (quando sono sporchi me ne vado)
Ottimo il menu, buona la carta dei vini. Buonissimo il tronchetto dessert.

This place was very filthy. They would not clean the tables (you would see the same crumbs you saw from the day before on the same table) so there is a lot of mess. The other day I purchased a snack and water, and was charged 2.50€. For some reason the next day when I tried to purchase the exact same thing they wanted to charge me twice as much. I have also had the do not disturb sign on my door and the cleaning ladies when inside and stole my items. I flew here from Canada and have all my family from Poland so I always have a great experience when traveling to Europe. I can speak many languages so it is easy to communicate.

Another thing I found weird is that their restaurant is often closed and during breakfast they have minimal food out with expired yogurt (I came around 7-8am). To me that means they don’t equip their kitchen with enough food and will give out expired food before ordering more ingredients. Why offer a complimentary breakfast if the food is expired? Then when I tried to give a benefit of the doubt and purchase snacks they were trying to charge me more than what I paid before (in the pictures it clearly shows the amount I was supposed to be charged and had paid yesterday). This is just a scam hotel. I will never book a room here nor do I feel comfortable eating here. It is obvious the owner purposely puts his clients in these scenarios to squeeze out as much money as possible.

The pitiful aspect is that I am not averse to parting with my wealth, but I am certainly not inclined to squander it on an establishment that operates unlawfully and fails to follow proper protocols. It is truly disheartening to witness such a hotel with potential being run by an owner who clearly lacks any concern for bestowing genuine hospitality upon his customers, despite it being the very essence of his chosen trade.

This establishment is an absolute disgrace. It's grimy, tacky, and fails to follow basic protocols that even a 2 star establishment would follow. Trust me when I say, you'd be wise to avoid even entertaining the idea of booking a room or subjecting yourself to a meal at this sorry excuse for an establishment. It is a real shame that the owner of this place is completely clueless and incapable of running a business the ethical/protocol way. I was very surprised because of all the top reviews I’ve seen but I notice they were from years ago which explains why my experience here was so different.
