We had an excellent experience and I highly recommend staying at this beautiful property. The property owners are amazing people. Gorgeous breakfast. Location is not far from highway and was on our drive from Rome to Florence. We had a more authentic experience staying here in Umbria vs. Tuscany. Lastly, our windshield wiper flew off our rental car during a rainy drive and we couldn't locate a car parts store. The property owner was extremely kind and gave us one of his spare windshield wipers. They provided great restaurant recommendations as well.

After visiting the ancient city of Rome and getting over whelmed by the hectic traffic and tourists, we wanted escape from the bustle of the city and found this magical place! The villa is what you would imagine old world Italy to be, friendly towns people, simple but tasty foods, and romantic views of green rolling hills, the place simple transports you to a simple and beautiful time. Also the host Leonardo was beyond friendly and amazing, he took the time to make us feel comfortable and even showed us his amazing vintage automotive/motorcycle collection! The place simply is magical and will transport you to a different time. Cheers!

The property is a beautifully renovated house with great seating area outside for breakfast with the most magnificent view.
We loved the gentle and warm welcome through out our stay from the owners, Kathrin and Leonardo, and of course the lovely breakfasts Natalia has prepared and served with the most care and always with a smile each morning.
We appreciate the super recommendations of travel and restaurants from Leonardo.
We had the feeling of visiting friends and that says it all.

Highly recommendable peaceful place. My girlfriend and I stayed here for three nights. It was an amazing experience. The premises is beautiful. Nathalia made a wonderful breakfast every morning and was super kind. Leonardo, the owner, is very helpful and had amazing restaurant recommendations in the area. We will definitely visit again!

Torre Palombara is the perfect place to spend a perfect vacation ! The service is excellent , very good breakfast , and the owner , mr. Leonardo , is the perfect host . The rooms are very clean and confortable . The villa is located in a very quiet place , but in the middle of a lot of beautifull places to see and taste ! I recomand this place !

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Torre Palombara. It’s perfectly situated in the Umbrian hills, nestled between a selection of small, postcard perfect hillside villages. It offers a great opportunity to explore the surrounding area where you’ll often find that you are the only tourists! Leonardos recommendations made the stay even better - restaurants, sight seeing, roads to travel on etc. Really very helpful! The breakfast was great with fresh meat, cheese and fruit every morning. This place is a real hidden gem and allows you to both relax at the pool and explore the surroundings areas! Nothing was too much trouble for Leonardo, Kathrin or Paolo! I can’t recommend highly enough!

Amazing family owned hotel in the picturesque countryside of Umbria. Charming location, hotel situated in a stunning landscape on an extremely large property. It feels immediately like home, not least thanks to the wonderful owners who run it fully out of passion as it feels. 200% recommendable! Gracie mile for a magnificent stay!

A real home away from home! what a wonderful and relaxing vacation we had here, we even cancelled two nights at another hotel and came back to Torre Palombara.

We stayed at Torre Palombara for two nights during October 2015. The stay was absolutely amazing.
We booked the deluxe room through Torre Palombara website as there was a discount that didn't exist anywhere.
The room itself was fabulous, clean, and very large. The bed was amazing. The place itself is just wonderful with amazing views. It was easy to find, as it shows on all popular navigation systems.
The breakfast was delicious and fresh, and with lovely and smiley service.
The best part is the owner himself - Leonardo - who is passionate to help, assist and provide all the possible information.
We would highly recommend this place for anyone staying around Narni, for visiting Umbria's southern highlights - Todi, Orvieto, Assisi, Castellucio, Narni, Amelia, etc.

This is an outstanding privately owned and run hotel. Great bedrooms lovely place and wonderful host in Leonardo. Breakfast on the terrace, is a perfect way to start the day. If you want an ideal spot to see this part of Umbria (which is superb) stay here.

My wife, teenage daughter and I just completed a four night stay at Torre Palombara and found it to be an amazing and truly unique place.

The running of the Hotel is clearly a labor of love on the part of the owner, Leonardo. Everything in the hotel has been given such thoughtful consideration and the rooms and property has been maintained and decorated so beautifully that it makes for an experience exceptional (so clean as well).

We traveled from the U. S. and were joined by German friends for our stay. Each morning we enjoyed wonderful breakfasts on the terrace (including gluten free options for one in our party with Celiac), which we followed with daily sightseeing, a late afternoon swim in the pool, and then dinner reservations based on the most amazing recommendations from Leonardo.

We had told Leonardo that we would enjoy different dinner experiences each night and he did not disappoint. Each dinner was truly unique and each one was wonderful. These were all local restaurants that I doubt they are found in any tour guide - and it makes them extra special as one would never find these places in your own.

Both my family as well as our German friends highly recommend Torre Palombara. If you are considering a stay in Umbria, you cannot go wrong with Leonardo and Torre Palombara.

Partita per una vacanza da single, un po' improvvisata, alla ricerca di pace e relax, ho trovato un vero e proprio paradiso. Torre Palombara è un luogo di straordinaria bellezza, sia per il contesto ambientale green in cui si inserisce, con vista sul Castello e sul Borgo di Narni, sia per la conformazione architettonica della residenza di Charme, sia per le camere.
Un valore aggiunto è dato dai proprietari, Leonardo con la sua splendida famiglia, e dal personale di servizio della struttura, Natalia, di una cortesia fuori dal comune.
Da appassionata di fotografia, i miei scatti parlano da soli, e mi ricordano quanto non sarei voluta mai venire via; ma oltre alle immagini, più di esse, ho portato con me il benessere che la cordialità, la disponibilità, la simpatia, delle persone che ho incontrato, hanno saputo trasmettermi.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa meravigliosa villa per il fine settimana. Leonardo, ottimo padrone di casa ci ha coccolato e consigliato sui luoghi da visitare e dove andare a mangiare. Tutto impeccabile. Personale gentile sorridente e disponibile. Peccato che a Novembre chiuderà ma torneremo sicuramente.
