An absolutely amazing experience for our first night in Italy. The food and wine were incredible, but the service from the staff was really what made the experience so great.

All 4 of us had wonderful meals. We caught them just before the afternoon intermezzo closing and appreciated this accommodation (30 minutes before the afternoon closing). I ordered an appetizer talgiata with local and regional salumi and, of course, the hams; fantastic, of course. I ordered the rabbit, which was oustanding, truly. My wife ordered a fish tartare trio, and she enjoyed it. My daughter had the chicken roulette and an extra side of grilled vegetables. My son had handmade pasta with burrata, tomatoes, crema of pesto, etc. We all finished everything, and my son is the picky eater 😃

I want to add that the service is outstanding and very friendly. I noticed a review further down saying it wasn't extra friendly? Ridiculous, and it is my experience that this results with customers that tend to be on the arrogant and entitled side 😉

Found this place randomly walking. I stopped immediately because the coziness of the restaurant caught my eyes. If you want to eat real traditional Italian food you cannot miss a stop to this place. Family owned business with only fresh ingredients.

Tagliolini con estratto di rucola, pecorino and almonds was really nice. Wild boar was also tasty. Nice atmosphere. Parmigiano reggiano 30 months is a good choice for starter. Prices can be seen in the picture.

Our mosaics tour guide recommended this restaurant for lunch before our tour. It was excellent! I had overdosed on pasta by then and chose a dish of chicken breast stuffed with pesto, with a side of fennel. Highly recommended.

This is a superb restaurant. I had the black squid ink spaghetti with prawns, which was delightful. The pasta had a lovely texture and the combination with garlic, fresh tomato and prawns was deeply savory. The roasted rabbit followed, scented with rosemary and served with softly roasted potatoes. Finished with lemon sorbet. This is classic, unfussy and utterly delicious food, served in a very congenial setting by friendly, efficient staff. Highly recommended.

2021 Review: Came back to see if this was still such a great dining experience. And it absolutely was. The wonderful Anna was our primary server/host. All 3 of us were very satisfied with our various meals. Delicious wines. Tasty desserts. Definitely this is a local gem. And they've recently opened a fish restaurant nearby. So glad we returned!

2020 Review: Delicious luncheon meal. My strozzapreta pasta was perfect. My mate's cappellatti was excellent. Great service. Hardworking team. Tasty Viognier wine by the glass. Definitely merits their good reputation. So glad we stopped here.

Great place with really kind services, we were allowed to enter just before real opening time (it was bit cold outside). Food is tasty and fresh, yet seafood could be a little bit more fresh / tasty. Definitely recommended!

In a town known for food, this place really stands out especially the cheese. Parmesan of course, 24, 36 or 72 month with or without charcuterie. Pasta dishes and wine list fabulous too.
