Charming older building with modern amenities. Large room and bathroom. Nice breakfast, combination buffet and freshly cooked hot items. Anna was very helpful with maps and dining and attraction recommendations. Great location at the edge of the ZTL but a short walk to most major tourist sites. The recommended parking lot is close and coats 15€ per day. Beware: you will have stairs.

An excellent bed and breakfast I would heartily recommend to anyone staying in Ravenna. The ambience of the building is immaculate, the rooms are well kept. Anna, the host, is the very picture of hospitality. The breakfast is exceptional, and the location is close to everything you might want to visit in Ravenna. 6/5 if I could give it. I would gladly stay for a month.

We spent two days in Ravenna this week. We stayed in Casa Masoli, a small hotel in the city center. We got easy directions to the hotel and parking was cheap and easy. She gave us a map of the city and explained how to get to all the major sites the room was large and very clean. At night, our room was very quiet. In the morning we got a wonderful breakfast. I would recommend staying in this hotel.

Very, very nice old fashioned house. Extra comfy rooms, of a good size and very clean. Lighting a bit dodgy with proximity sensors in the bath. Room on slightly different levels (two steps to go to the bathroom). But all in all it would have been 5 stars where it not for the absence of a lift (rooms are on the second floor). So it's really a 4.5.
Excellent location and strategically placed near all of Ravenna's main attractions.
Excellent breakfast and very friendly staff.

Arrived at the Ravenna station from Bologna, and it was an easy 10ish minute walk to Casa Masoli.
The rooms are amazing and you will literally never want to leave, although it was pretty hot on the 3rd floor. Shampoo and shower gel as well as soap was provided thankfully. To my surprise there was also slippers which was a great treat, as well as a nice bidet.

It’s location is perfect, just a 5 minute walk to many piazzas, with restaurants on every single corner. There is also a lot of high end fashion shops if you wanna go on a shopping spree.

The owner was very helpful, and booked us a taxi. The morning after, she also serves any drink you ask for on the menu, there is a wide selection of coffee and tea. The options for breakfast are very varied and you’ll enjoy everything from fruits and waffles to ham and cheese and a plethora of desserts :)

We agree with the many positive reviewers who have rated Casa Masoli 5/5. Great hostess. Genuine old villa, bombed in the war and rebuilt to original. Great decor. Great ambiance. Very inexpensive for an authentic Italian experience. We have found our go-to place in Ravenna!

Cosy little gem hidden near the major UNESCO mosaic monuments of Ravenna. We felt like staying at grandparents’ place, perfect with a tasty breakfast buffet. Cappuccino, as most Italian coffees are, was also delicious.

Beautiful 17th century building with very comfortable rooms that have retained their their heritage. Service was excellent - very helpful, the extensive breakfast was thoughtful and generous.
Location was excellent - next to the main thoroughfare, mercato coperto, great restaurants and UNESCO mosaics sites.

Amazing !
This Palazzo offers splendid rooms, some of them being suites with antique ceiling frescoes. Very stylish furniture adds to the authentic atmosphere of this prestigious building. A truly amazing experience to stay here . The location is 5 min walk to the city centre. Breakfast is very good, all you can eat of everything you can imagine.
The owner and manager assist with your needs and give useful tips for the stay.
One of the best places I have been to!

I adored this delightful B&B! It is a 15 minute walk from the train station, and a couple of blocks from the main, pedestrian only area. The room was huge, as was the bathroom. There is a coffee maker in the room. Breakfast was fantastic! Fruit, cheeses, meats, pastries, cold cereal, tea, coffee are laid out in a gorgeous spread. You can also order hot, cooked to order, breakfast. The hosts could not have been more gracious. I wish I had known how charming the town of Ravenna is. I would loved to have spent another day here.

What a gem! We have never stayed in a more adorable hotel in Italy than this one. The service is welcoming and heart warming, the whole building itself is a piece of art with so much attention to each detail, from furniture over artwork to even smell. The rooms are like time travel while still providing modern TV and a fine selection of bathroom amenities (and finally a hotel that offers plenty of towels). The breakfast included coffees and eggs freshly prepared to our liking and there was nothing more in this hotel that we could have asked for. Thank you so much for having us ❤

Twelve of us stayed at Casa Masoli for two nights before boarding a cruise ship. The location of the B&B was perfect! It’s within walking distance to some wonderful restaurants, sights, the indoor market, and shopping.

There’s no elevator, but they have a pulley lift for the luggage. If you don’t want to climb any stairs, there is a nice large room on the ground floor that’s across from the reception area that you can request.

We were given the Guidarello room, which was a very nice size room. The bathroom was narrow and long with two sinks and a small shower, and a window for fresh air. It faced an interior courtyard, so it was quiet at night. The bed was firm but comfortable. All of the rooms are lovely and well-decorated with paintings, frescos, and chandeliers. Very much old world Italian charm. The nightly rate was very reasonable.

We had breakfast every morning (included in the price of the room) – a nice variety of meats, cheese, eggs to order pastries, cereal, coffee, tea, juice.

My correspondence was with Fabio. He always responded promptly. I asked about where to get Covid tested (required for our cruise), restaurant recommendations (tasty tapas and happy hour drinks at Fresco near the market), transportation to the port, etc. While there, I never had the opportunity to meet him. I was sad that I never got to meet him. So, Fabio, if you are reading this, I’ll meet you the next time we’re in Ravenna! Our hostesses were so friendly and also helpful.

Everyone in the group was so pleased with this place.

I highly recommend this place to anyone that wants to stay in an ideal location with hostesses that make you feel at home.

A classically, cozy BnB. The team are quite welcoming, friendly, and helpful. If you are seeking an historic, comfortable, well-located place to stay, in an excellent location, this is a great option. Wonderful breakfast. Delicious cappuccinos. My only critique is that the towels in our spacious room are overdue to replacement.

5 stars isn't enough for this wonderful place. We had a beautiful room, and Anna was the BEST host and we had a delicious breakfast. Best cappuccino we ever had! Thank you Anna for a great stay, and we will be back!

it was real fairy tale, just the best ever hotel, and I've seen many.
In the very center of Ravenna, close to every important places. The whole atmosphere is like in the palace, with freschi e pictures on the wall, with every little detail for the convinience and pleasure of the visitors. Anna is SOOOO kind and helpful woman, she so much likes and wants to help, to explain, to show.
The breakfast is really nice.
Even the only problem that COULD have happened - the parking of the auto - was resolved for only 2 euro for 2 full days.
Bottom line: recommended with full heart! Thanks a lot for the pleasure to be in this place

This place is a 5-star hotel I must say. Google's description of 1-star is wrong! The owner Fabio (if I remember his name correctly XD) was absolutely warm and friendly. He even took the time to explain Ravenna's history to me, where's the good food, etc. Always had great conversations with him when I come back. His wife was also very kind and kept looking out for our breakfast needs. The rooms were really spacious & fabulously clean. Ambience of the place was very rustic & traditional. Breakfast spread was simple but good. All in all I had an amazing stay and experience at this place. A must go for any visit to Ravenna!

Had a delightful stay here. The room was very large and unique. It was also very clean. The hosts of the hotel were extremely nice and welcoming. They also took the time to give us tips about what to visit and where to eat. I would definitely recommend staying here. It's also very conveniently located.

The place is gorgeous, room and bathroom with lot of space plus everyone is really kind. I loved the breakfast. Maybe the only thing to consider would be to have an extra rubbish bin in the room and the TV position. As an overall, i highly recommend this place which is really central.

We loved Casa Masoli for its beauty, elegance and serenity. Anna and her assistant, Aurelia, offered gracious hospitality and the breakfasts were both generous and delicious. It is the perfect place to stay in Ravenna. Mosaics are within easy walking distance and restaurants are on the doorstep. Thank you, Anna.
