Fabulous Irish Pub located in Modena!

Had a quick yarn with the owner, fabulous gent, was super helpful. Beverages, food, service all top notch.

A bar adorned with my family name, my expectations were high. Not only did they not shame me for being the only Irishman in Modena who's allergic to beer, they had gluten free beer I could drink. The best pub I have been so far in modena

What a beautiful bar. Food and beer were prime quality. We danced, played and sang till late, and instead of being annoyed, most of the rest of the guests and some staff members joined us.

Can't say you visited Modena without a Saturday Night at Griffin's. Very chaotic and definitely not the place for those who want to have a calm drink at a table - there are many other places down via Gallucci and Antonio Scarpa which cater to that need. If it's the first time, you'll have to learn some rules of the place:
1. Get in the queue at one of the four bartender spots and always move forward - do not harass them as they notice you and will eventually serve you.
2. To speed things up, always get orders for your friends as well.
3. Wear clothes you aren't afraid to get dirty - so you can sit on the street. Although depending on who you're with you might be standing up a lot of the time. Don't hope to get a table if you haven't booked in advance.

The young folk looking for a cheap way to get drunk can go for the Special brew (say "una Spechal" to be understood) - 9% pint for 5 euros. Otherwise they can probably get quite close to what you're looking for.

Fantastic pub in Modena Centre. Nice food, lovely vibe. Suitable for couples. Tables outside get full very quickly so get there early!
