Absolutely the best restaurant in Ravenna
Family owned with ladies exceeding our service quality expected levels. Food was exceptional. Wine d's Vinci bottle of Red was a great accompaniment
.lunch time buzz with almost 50 patrons. We were greeted by the matriarch and all the staff provided good service.

Ca’ de Vèn was a dream- we only had one day in Ravenna, and wanted to have a proper lunch.
The flavours were so simple and so perfectly done, the food was unbelievably fresh, the atmosphere was beautiful, and we both walked away from our lunch with smiles and full stomachs.

A beautiful location for a wonderful food - I had a pideria with spinach as a starter and then guinea fowl cooked in cevia salt - now, that said, I spent hours trying to buy said salt and it's apparently out of stock due to the floods in 2023. Nonetheless, the fowl was delightful and succulent - I wish to learn the secret of preparing it

So rich and delicious so happy I went. The couldn’t fit me in when I went at 8 and told me to come back at 8.45 which I did and I was seated straight away. Quick service, amazing ragù

Great restaurant. Very nice location. Great value and an very interesting menu. Nice wine selection. The woman at the checkout probably had a bad day. But for the rest all are very friendly. Ravenna is just a very beautiful place to be an all very friendly to the tourists.. a must do..

I took guests on a small group food and wine tour here after visiting the mosaics and everyone loved it. Service is busy but efficient and the atmosphere in this ancient wine store with it's vaulted stone ceilings, heavy wood and rows of wine barrels and bottles is fabulous. We had a simple meal of salumi and cheese, piadina, crescioni and, the reason I chose this venue – radicchio salad with bruciatini (pan-fried pancetta), a local specialty which one guest said was his favourite dish of the entire 11-day tour! Good wine too, even the simplest offerings.

It's a really great place to enjoy food and company with friends. Pretty details and a great restaurant feel. Usually busy, but there's plenty of seating. The food was good, and the prices were reasonable.

Traditional home style food, reminiscent of what it might have been like to dine out a hundred years ago. The food was well prepared. I really love the atmosphere in the main hall and felt that I had been transported to another time.

Great food, amazing atmosphere and knowledgeable staff. Excellent wine list. Call in advance to reserve space, opt to sit inside, amazing art pieces scattered about. Savory foods, hard to choose what to eat, everything was interesting and intriguing to explore.

Excellent lunch in every way. Probably the best spaghetti with clam sauce I’ve ever had Charming space and attentive service, plus reasonable prices

ate with a large group under a reservation. we were served 4 meals that i wish i could have completely eaten. each dish was very filling with my favorite being the lasagna. everything was absolutely delicious and this restaurant served me the best meal ive ever had.

Finally I got to eat at Ca' de Vèn...at my 6th visit to Ravenna...and I loved it! Great location, beautiful restaurant with superb food. I had Cappelletti al ragù and Tagliata di manzo with Verdure gratinate o grigliate would love to try more from the menu, maybe next year. Friendly and helpful staff Really recomend

Very nice personnel, very good food!

WOW!! amazing food! We shared two plates that we got recommended. We also have the cookies for dessert with the liquor. We loved everything. We want to go back to Ravenna just to eat there again. If you are planing to go there, don’t doubt it, just go there! You won’t regret it. One of the best food we had in Italy.

Had a lovely lunch of tortellini with ragu and the mrs had tagliatelle with squid. Both were excellent and the restaurant is stunning. The place was recommended by Luca who we did a food tour with in Bologna, it certainly lived up to the rep! 🇮🇹🙏🇮🇹❤

Absolutely worth it. we usually try to skip the very obvious tourist hotspots, but this one was great. Very interesting location, ancient vaulted halls, and you sit next to the lady making fresh piadina from scratch. We were lucky to be early and still get a table, so come early, book ahead or queue :) the piadina were the best we've had on our trip and surprisingly good value as well considering the location.

I do not know what this building was, but be a restaurant is full of feeling to customers.

Me and my colleagues were done in this place twice within a week. Food is fabulous and environment is fantastic.

Lovely place, broad dining offer, lovely wine themed restaurant in Ravenna's pedestrian zone.

The space is very special, very beautiful. There are many kind of paintings there and the location is perfect too. Staffs are very nice. The food we had was very good.
Highly recommended!
