La Rosa Gialla

Could not have been more satisfied with our stay here. Felt so welcomed by Valentina and the hotel area was even better than expected with different activites such as a slide, dart and a sunbathing swing.

We were extra pleased to see that there was a baby chair and plate/cutlery made available for our stay.

Really great & beautiful place! Dear hostesses, good care, they are always there for you. Apartments are clean and equipped with everything. Beautiful area, with lots of fun things to do. Of course the most delicious wines! We'll be back next year!

Fantastic experience. In August quite some families with smaller children (age 0-8). The entire premise and pool were bigger than what we expected based on the pictures. Extremely friendly hosts and a beautiful location, close to many Barolo villages and the city of Alba. For kids, a dat viait to the aquapark cupole lido (30 mins) is a great and affordable activity.

The owner and staff of this beautiful property next to a vineyard and minutes from Barolo and Alba were outstanding. The property is very well maintained and in a quiet location. I had a massage in the vineyard, yoga by the pool, a local vintner did a wine tasting and there were numerous wineries nearby to do wine tasting of Barolo, Barbera and Barbaresco. The food at the property was excellent too and the region overall has some of the best food we’ve had after visiting many regions in Italy. Can’t wait to go back.

Amazing place to stay at Barolo. The host is so kind, accommodating and very attentive. The whole property is very beautiful. Our room is large, homey and filled with every amenities. The bed is so comfortable you will feel fully rested.

We traveled to La Rosa Gialla for a vacation with another couple and booked the suite and charming apartment. The property is beautiful and well-located—convenient to many small towns and wineries. We chose to add breakfast to our stay, which was a great start to each day. Marina and Valentina were so kind. They arranged a bouquet and bottle of wine in one of the rooms for a birthday. They also offered many suggestions for things to do upon our request, and we went on a truffle hunt with a guide they recommended, which was a highlight of our trip. Truly wonderful people who go above and beyond for their guests. We hope to return.

Fantastic visit to this area early July. Centrally located to wine tasting regions La Morra and Barolo. The hosts were absolutely wonderful. This place exudes family away from home. TIP: Cooking class a must for the whole family. Just great! Grazie!

The property and accommodations were lovely… The web photos don’t entirely capture how picturesque this property is. Marina and Valentina were terrific hosts. Both very charming, fun, and helpful with ANY need. We would definitely recommend and will stay at La Rosa Gialla again!

This is a late review for our stay at la rosa gialla in June 2022.
We can recommend this place 100%. Room 10/10, cleanliness 10/10, view 10/10. Marina and her whole family were so accomodating and we instantly felt welcome and at home. Marina was like a mother to all guests and was always there whenever anyone needed anything. Our car battery crashed during our stay in Langhe and Valentina, the daughter, immediately came to help us. The next day Marina had already organized for a mechanic to change out car battery. While waiting for our car to get fixed she quickly cooked an amazing pasta for us. We recommend for you to have dinner at least once when Marina is cooking because her cooking is amazing, the wine is great and you might end up singing with the whole family and their friends.

We will never forget our stay at la rosa gialla in beautiful piedmont and will for sure come back again.

A lovely stay and such warm and friendly hosts - Valentina and Marina made us feel very welcome and were so responsive even when they were really busy. It is a family business run with love and passion.

We stayed here one month in 2014 during September and October, and we have no problem recommending the place for future guests. Marina and Gianni gave us a warm welcome and were there all the time to ensure service and comfort. The pool was particularly popular with the kids, and the wineyards in the neighbourhood was frequently visited by the grownups. We even went troufle hunting in a nearby forest - and found several black troufles!

Could not have asked for anything better! Marina and her team (family) were so friendly and helpful, and made us feel incredibly welcome. Our 9 month-old ‘bambina’ Ellie pretty much became an honorary Italian for the duration of our stay! La Rosa Gialla is stunningly situated at the edge of the tiny village of Vergne, with a clear view over the vineyards of Barolo to the Alps with 4000m Monte Viso dominating the horizon. We had to catch our breath at the view every morning! It is the perfect base for exploring the wonderful Barolo and Barbaresco wine regions. We are already hatching a plan to go back!

My wife and I have visited La Rosa Gialla twice, and most definitely will continue to visit in the future. It's a little piece of heaven in the heart of wine country. The hospitality is second to none, the view is spectacular, and the location is just perfect.

Lovely place to stay. Owners are very friendly, rooms are large and clean and view spectacular, when you can see the mountains.

The most gracious family awaits you to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The Rosa Gialla is located in a small commune surrounded by vineyards and vegetation. The property is an isolated collection of renovated country houses, and you will need personal transportation to get to it. Particularly, if you want to explore the surrounding area. Marina and Valentina will accommodate just about any need you may have, even cook you a homemade bowl of soup. Marina is a great cook. Valentina is a great host. Just had brief conversation with Giani, since he was busy with the harvest, but he seems like an interesting, friendly fellow. We really felt more like part of the family than guests.

Excellent! Fantastic place to stay when visiting Langhe. They have been extreamly friendly and provided a great service. Rooms and appartments are beautiful and very clean. Definetly a place to come back!

Lovely Place, neat and clean rooms and friendly service. The breakfast is really abundant and a pool is available if you want to relax.
