Amazing experience with Giovanni and Alex, me and my boyfriend arrived at the Colosseum with no tickets, we were approached by a lovely gentleman who told us about the tour, ( of course we were a little apprehensive) we paid approximately €72 for two people, this included entrance to Colosseum and the Roman forum, we met with Alex who informed us of the price etc before paying. We then met with our tour guide Giovanni, he was brilliant!! Absolutely amazing me and my boyfriend only had cash so he used his own card and we paid him, really thankful, he took us around and his knowledge, sense of humour and just overall attitude was lovely, he was a really nice guy, down to earth and very intelligent. He has an accent of course it’s expected but did not hinder the tour at all, he walked us around telling us Roman history, the head sets worked brilliant no problem, and he left us after approx 1 hour I think? So we could explore on our own which was nice, Giovanni even went above and beyond to ensure we skipped the queue for the Roman forum by texting us when the queue went down so we didn’t have to wait in line, really brilliant experience, we then independently went into the Roman forum without the tour. Overall extremely satisfied with our tour had a lovely day thank you Giovanni, and Alex, very organised and swift at the entrances and queues. I would not listen to bad reviews, it was our first time in Rome and would definitely use this service again. Thank you for making it a lovely experience and Giovanni is a credit to you! I think bad reviews are from people who DID NOT LISTEN about ID being needed and complaints about accents well you are in Italy? You expect English speaker to know Roman history? We completely loved our tour and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Rome! Thank you love from Wales ❤

Marco was our tour guide at the Colosseum. He skillfully guided the tour. He asked us back if we remembered what he said. He listened to everyone, counted us several times. He is patient, he really knows the history, I recommend Marco Tantucci.😊🥰

I really enjoyed the tour with them, a very good company and a very good staff and agency, I’ve booked Vatican and colosseum tour, and it was everything perfect, the guide was very prepared and it was everything perfect, I will be back in Rome and surely will book other tours with them! Excellent private tour. Marco 2 was incredibly knowledgeable and gave us a fantastic day in the Colosseum. We learnt about history, art, culture and much more. After we missed our time slot to the colosseum, we purchased tickets for a tour with Italy in Love. Our guide, Maria was so knowledgeable about not only the colosseum, but the history and architecture of Rome and around the world. We are from the states and she even talked to us about some architecture styles on the White House which amazed us. She gave extremely detailed explanations about a lot of stops inside the colosseum and gave us detailed history talks while we were walking. I would highly recommend!

Fantastic tour, a little apprehensive at the beginning, but it turned out to be throughly enjoyable experience. A total of 36 Euro each, would definitely recommend. Hopefully you get Maria.

My husband and I arrived at the Colosseum today and found we could not purchase tickets on site. We were approached by a gentleman offering guided tours and frankly we were a little skeptical.
After a brief discussion we accepted the offer and paid cash for a tour. We were provided with headsets and as it turned out, our guide Marco1 was excellent. He provided us with excellent information, pointing out the highlights of the site. He also led us into the Forum and provided us with pertinent details. So glad we we went with Italy In Live Tours!! Our tour guide, Dino, was excellent! Friendly, professional, entertaining and very knowledgeable about the history of Rome, Dino expertly guided us around these incredible ancient monuments. I thoroughly enjoyed this walking tour of the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill and I highly recommend Dino. Grazie mille, Dino! 😊

We had a nice tour experience at Colosseum. They provided radio head sets so we could hear everything. I liked that the starting point of the tour is made from their local office near Colosseum, and not the very crowded plase itself. Our guide, Marco 2 did kept our attention, both adults and children. It told us interesting facts about those historical monuments and I liked that he shared some stories from his archeological work from the same places. He adapted to the group components, at there were also old people and children. It's not easy to keep all the people there together in that crowded stepy places.
Indeed I was skeptical about the sales people approaching you to get a tour, maybe they could do a more professional way to do it.

Alex & Yumi were amazing tour guides! We were so impressed with their knowledge & ability to accommodate our large group when another company canceled on us last minute. They provided us with an amazing tour & took us to some off the beaten path spots & even hooked us up with an after tour dinner reservation in front of the Pantheon! We would enthusiastically recommend them to anyone looking to book a tour of Rome!

Our tour guide named Marco was amazing, he knew so much about the history of the Colloseum and the Roman forum, it made the tour so enjoyable and he was also extremely kind and accomodating. Amazing tour. Our guide was so knowleagable and enthusiastic, almost like he was telling the story for the first time. Got through the queue and security very quick. We had our two children with us and they were kept interested and we all learned so much. Best tour of our trip to Rome. Thank you!

We used Italy In Love to skip the line at the Colosseum and it was a great experience. The tour was led by Marciu and he was absolutely amazing. He was a former history teacher so he knew all the background, and had tons of pictures and background knowledge to answer any question. He was a phenomenal tour guide.

For the second part, we had Norman lead us through the Forum and Hill and he was just as impressive. The tour was shorter since there are only a few major stops but once again Norman had all the background knowledge and pictures to make it very interesting. It was great. I also appreciated that he intentionally took time to talk to different people in our group between stops - you could tell he actually cared about making sure it was a good experience.

Overall, we paid for this to skip the line, but we were so impressed by the tour that we would have paid for the two guides we had even if we had to wait in line still!

The guide did a great job explaining and showing us all the fascinating details about the Colosseum. She made sure that everyone were involved. My friend and I loved the small group size, handy head set to maintain the social distance. The tour was absolutely excellent.

Radu was an amazing tour guide! He was funny and bubbly, making it a fun way to learn (and you learn so much better that way!) We thought it was a great length of time; too long can get boring. It was very nice how he gave us some safety pointers at the end about how to be safe in Italy for New years, great guy!
