Palumbo Gastronomia Rosticceria

Kind of local secret. This cantine style place offers typical italian dishes at very low prices. A portion of food will cost you 4-5 euros, which is absolutely amazing. Food was simple but very delicious. There was long queue of locals which is always nice to see. Yes the staff is little impatient and yes they don’t speak English but this is what you can expect at a local joint with a long queue of people waiting to get their food. Good thing is that the menu is also in English, so you can order your food with a little broken italian and some hand gestures.

Small family bistro. Quick and tasty, warm service, low price. Local people keep coming for take away. Must try the chicken with potato and eggplant sandwich！

Foods great especially the spit roast chicken friendly staff, i always buy from here when we visit agrigento. And have been many times over the years. 👍🏾

We absolutely loved Palumbo and what felt like a hearty, cooked with love homemade food. The family run business is very welcoming, we ended up going back several times and try different specialties. It's also very popular with the locals!
